ATTOLLO Culture Deck - Creating the future together. ATTOLLO
ATTOLLO's culture is in all that we do – our interactions, our relationships, what we expect from our company and what the company expects from us. Cementing this our culture deck and helps to keep us on track. #ateam #attollo #culture #culturedeck
As the war for top talent is at an all-time high, our need for capable teammates to lighten our load has hit the "yesterday is too late" warning level, and our own desire to get much more out of our career trajectories is somewhere between red and white-hot, a simple question is rarely answered correctly: what are we to do to find the right people and to stand out ourselves?
While the traditional resume has been enhanced by better design techniques (infographics! Presi! personal websites!) and smartly maintained social presences, these mediums can (still) be too easily manipulated in the applicant's favor—just like that supposedly objective reference call that gets made in the final stages of most hiring decisions.
The answer to finding the right talent and / or positioning ourselves better therefore can't be digital, analog, or even external. Rather, it comes down to one simple thing truth: professional excellence. Either you have it, or you need to work hard to achieve it.
This presentation contains practical, next-level tips to help you become the best version of your professional self (for job seekers) and help you better vett talent (for job hirers). Come away armed with the tactics you need to grow and nurture your skills, deliver world class work product, earn trust and respect, successfully collaborate, and generally take your game up a notch so you advance your career.
I am a self-employed management consultant and trainer. I am also a volleyball coach.
Over the past few years, I have begun to use sporting analogies from my experiences of coaching volleyball as a way of explaining core leadership and management principles.
I have been fortunate to have been asked to give talks about this. Here is a synopsis of my talk.

Are you tired of seeing all those online scams about working from
home, but you really need a job that works with your schedule
and needs? It is possible to get actual jobs that can be done from
home (and aren't pyramid schemes!)....
so read below to find out how!
In this study we consider the selling of an invention as an incentive scheme. The innovating firm sells the invention to other firms who are established in the product market. We consider a situation in which imperfect monitoring rules out the contractual mechanisms, and also royalty agreements. It is still possible to sell the invention through an auction mechanism. Actually the auction is used, because it maximizes the auctioneer’s (inventor’s) income. In situation considered it is required that the inventor also exerts some effort in the commercialization phase after the invention is sold. Owing to this post-trade effort, it may turn out to be beneficial to use the stocks of the product market firm in payment of the invention. This is implemented most easily through merger or acquisition. We show that the more effective the inventor’s own effort is in the commercialization phase, the more beneficial for the inventor is that alternative which includes ownership arrangements, too. This alternative is attractive especially when the inventor acts as an auctioneer. Then the producer’s (informational) rents can be effectively decreased by limiting the producer’s own incentices to exert post-trade effort.

Not very often do you hear children say, “I want to be a fundraiser or mobilise the resources when I grow up!” When I was younger and first making choices about my future, fundraising meant "Pluto" to me. And I am not alone. Fundraising is not something that most people have much understanding about at a young age. It is definitely not about getting donations- you’ll need to inspire passion and learn the art of asking.
Being in advancement, in this very special profession, has given me more of personal satisfaction than I have gotten in any of the other activities I have ever done in my life. It gets me up every day and happy to come to work. It doesn’t get better than that.

Start up and human resource
1. People are the biggest asset and strength
of any start up.
And
Things that entrepreneur should do and
should not do while dealing with this
asset.
2. People
Every start up starts with the like minded people coming together with
a dream of achieving the common goal.
But as the company grows, it starts falling short of people and it’s a
challenge to find such people.
Its an art and skill to get such fire in the belly people in shortest
possible time at lowest possible cost.
People are the biggest and perhaps only asset of every start up which
is irreplaceable.
3. Challenges of getting right kind of people.
Its hard to sell
the company
which is
completely
unknown
Its very
difficult to
match the
salary
expectations
The risk
perception in
the minds of
people is very
high
Perceived
psychological
factors play
havoc in their
minds
It’s a
challenge to
retain people
with lower
cash and
higher
ESOP’s
4. Benchmark Qualities while hiring people.
Person
should be
willing to work
in
unstructured
environment.
Person is
willing to look
at long term
career by
accepting
Esop’s.
He is by
nature very
flexible and
adaptable
and a team
player.
He has an
attitude of
being a out of
box thinker.
He is willing
to or used to
doing
multitasking
5. How would you create core team of your start up ?
One needs to answer following questions before hiring your core team
• What should be the level of experience ?
• Why does he want to come to a start up ? Is it a stressed decision ?
• Does he really believe in your idea and can share common vision ?
• Is he a team player ?
• Is he willing to put some skin in the game by opting for ESOP’s
• Is he willing to look outside his domain and experiment ?
While answers to these questions are not easy to find out but worth
spending more days before hiring.
Intense communication sessions are must to create a cohesive group of
core team. They should almost reach to the stage of predictability of
other team member’s expectation and reaction.
They must believe in a common mission and vision of entrepreneur.
6. Golden rules while dealing with your core team.
Every start up has a thin number of people and they work like a close knit
family. There are certain golden rules which should be followed by an
entrepreneur during the life cycle.
• Always have a open communication with the team.
• Always share the bad news first to the team.
• Never give a conflicting signal to different group of people.
• Be fair while fixing the structure and remuneration pyramid
• As the organization grows and multi tasking is reduced, then create a
balanced departmental structure.
• Create a participative management style from early on so that team
feels involvement.
• Be transparent with the team and they will stand by with you in difficult
times.
• Lead from the front by example.
• Carrying a wrong baggage will take the company back by few months
and time is precious.
7. Does each core team player should be a leader by example
and vision??.
• Every start up is built from ground zero and the castle need to be built
on the solid foundation.
• Each of the core team player should be a leader who not only is
knowledgeable but also a good communicator and team builder.
• He needs to create a sound team B and C in his department who are
best in terms of knowledge but also become good communicator and
become extrovert.
• Information flow in a start up is very fast and informal and any wrong
or half communication by team would lead to confusion.
• Team leaders should learn to have vertical and horizontal discussions
at their level.
8. Road to successful start up is tough but
People create a successful start up so give
them their due respect.
