I introduce Starbucks' Corporate
Responsibility through its the
website. Then I will decipher about
the approach and initiatives of
Starbucks' social responsibility
approach.

Starbucks, you can know how to work
on social responsibility of Starbucks.
Starbucks' Corporate Responsibility
“One person, one cup and one
neighborhood at a time.”
This is the mind of Starbucks against
Social Responsibility. It believed that
it should have a positive impact on
the communities, so too has its
commitment to corporate
citizenship.
It is aimed to be innovators, leaders
and contributors to a society and a
healthy environment so that society
can thrive.

classified four categories;
Community, Ethical Sourcing,
Environment, and Global
Responsibility Report.
(2) In addition, it is soliciting
suggestions about the contribution
to the community in special site.
And, it posted the report about how
to ensure the quality of bottled
water.
Community
Starbucks is committed to helping
communities thrive when it does
business. It bringing people together,
inspiring change and making a
difference in people's lives while
balancing profitability and a social
conscience.
The chief community officer gives a
hint about commitment through a
WEB movie. You can find a local
service project in U.S. and Canada,
then can understand about Starbucks
global responsibility goals and
progress.
Community
At the page of the community, you can learn
more about local contribution activities of
Starbucks. For example, Community Service tap
into a passionate network of people eager to be
catalysts in their local neighborhoods. Community
Stores are helping support neighborhood
revitalization efforts. The Starbucks Foundation
develop youth leadership by investing in the
leadership skills required for the changing global
economy. It also invests in farming communities
to develop responsible growing methods, and to
ensure a sustainable supply of these crops.

Aside from exceptional coffee, it
made a business out of human
connections, community
involvement and the celebration of
cultures. Starbucks Foundation
supports programs that contribute
to our communities in meaningful
ways. "Create Jobs for USA" supports
job creation across the country, and
gives a job opportunity to
customers, partners and businesses.
Naturally, its dedication to
community service and
environmental stewardship extends
to its hometown.
Ethical Sourcing
Whether it’s coffee, tea, cocoa or
manufactured goods, Starbucks is
committed on offering the highestquality, ethically purchased and
responsibly produced products.
For example, expert in soil
management and crop production
helps farmers in Costa Rica protect
the environment. It succeed to
support the farmers and suppliers
who grow and produce our products.
Ethical Sourcing
Through our coffee purchasing
practices, farmer support centers,
loan programs and forest conservation
efforts, Starbucks seek to serve highquality coffee that is responsibly
grown and ethically traded. It is also
committed to a long-term strategy of
ethical tea sourcing. Further it
manage supply chain of cocoa by
independent verifiers's inspections.
Furthermore it is committed to
responsibility of manufactured goods
found in Starbucks.
Enviroment
Starbucks is committed to
minimizing our environmental
footprint and inspiring others to do
the same. It reduce its operating
costs and increase shareholder value
through energy and water efficiency,
then encourage and work with others
to share the commitment to the
environment.
For example, it produce napkin
from cup through the Cup Recycling.
Enviroment

Starbucks is trying to reduce the
environmental footprint of its
operations. Building Greener Stores are
conserving the energy and water and
purchasing renewable energy credits. It
provide recycling in the stores and
ensure the recyclability of our cups by
the recycling and reducing waste.
Further it is constantly looking to
innovate and collaborate with likeminded organizations to reduce the cup
and the packaging waste. Furthermore
it help farmers mitigate the impact of
climate change on their farms since
2004.
Global Responsibility Report
Starbucks is committed to being a
good corporate citizen. It has been
publicly reporting its goals and
performance in the area of
corporate social responsibility since
2001.
Its annual Global Responsibility
report reflect the impact it has
made over the past year. However,
it is an opportunity to be more
intentional and focused about what
it can do in the future more than
reporting on past progress.
Global Responsibility Report
2012 Global Responsibility Report is
posted a message from Howard
Schultz who is chairman, president
and ceo. In 2012, Starbucks opened
our third community store in
Houston, Texas.
Youth Leadership Grants program
reaches more than 50,000 young
people each year, creating
innovative and positive solutions to
local needs while empowering young
people.

more about the report and
welcomes their feedback and ideas.
My Starbucks Idea.com is looking
for feedback from users. It also
supports against complain and
claim. By doing so, it will endeavor
to improve the products and
business, and fulfill a corporate
responsibility for society.

  • 2. Starbucks' Corporate Responsibility I introduce Starbucks' Corporate Responsibility through its the website. Then I will decipher about the approach and initiatives of Starbucks' social responsibility approach. When you open the page of Responsibility from the WEB site of Starbucks, you can know how to work on social responsibility of Starbucks.
  • 3. Starbucks' Corporate Responsibility “One person, one cup and one neighborhood at a time.” This is the mind of Starbucks against Social Responsibility. It believed that it should have a positive impact on the communities, so too has its commitment to corporate citizenship. It is aimed to be innovators, leaders and contributors to a society and a healthy environment so that society can thrive.
  • 4. Starbucks' Corporate Responsibility (2) (1) (1) Starbucks shows a commitment to social responsibility. They are classified four categories; Community, Ethical Sourcing, Environment, and Global Responsibility Report. (2) In addition, it is soliciting suggestions about the contribution to the community in special site. And, it posted the report about how to ensure the quality of bottled water.
  • 5. Community Starbucks is committed to helping communities thrive when it does business. It bringing people together, inspiring change and making a difference in people's lives while balancing profitability and a social conscience. The chief community officer gives a hint about commitment through a WEB movie. You can find a local service project in U.S. and Canada, then can understand about Starbucks global responsibility goals and progress.
  • 6. Community At the page of the community, you can learn more about local contribution activities of Starbucks. For example, Community Service tap into a passionate network of people eager to be catalysts in their local neighborhoods. Community Stores are helping support neighborhood revitalization efforts. The Starbucks Foundation develop youth leadership by investing in the leadership skills required for the changing global economy. It also invests in farming communities to develop responsible growing methods, and to ensure a sustainable supply of these crops.
  • 7. Community Aside from exceptional coffee, it made a business out of human connections, community involvement and the celebration of cultures. Starbucks Foundation supports programs that contribute to our communities in meaningful ways. "Create Jobs for USA" supports job creation across the country, and gives a job opportunity to customers, partners and businesses. Naturally, its dedication to community service and environmental stewardship extends to its hometown.
  • 8. Ethical Sourcing Whether it’s coffee, tea, cocoa or manufactured goods, Starbucks is committed on offering the highestquality, ethically purchased and responsibly produced products. For example, expert in soil management and crop production helps farmers in Costa Rica protect the environment. It succeed to support the farmers and suppliers who grow and produce our products.

Ethical Sourcing Through our coffee purchasing practices, farmer support centers, loan programs and forest conservation efforts, Starbucks seek to serve highquality coffee that is responsibly grown and ethically traded. It is also committed to a long-term strategy of ethical tea sourcing. Further it manage supply chain of cocoa by independent verifiers's inspections. Furthermore it is committed to responsibility of manufactured goods found in Starbucks.
  • 10. Enviroment Starbucks is committed to minimizing our environmental footprint and inspiring others to do the same. It reduce its operating costs and increase shareholder value through energy and water efficiency, then encourage and work with others to share the commitment to the environment. For example, it produce napkin from cup through the Cup Recycling.
  • 11. Enviroment Starbucks is trying to reduce the environmental footprint of its operations. Building Greener Stores are conserving the energy and water and purchasing renewable energy credits. It provide recycling in the stores and ensure the recyclability of our cups by the recycling and reducing waste. Further it is constantly looking to innovate and collaborate with likeminded organizations to reduce the cup and the packaging waste. Furthermore it help farmers mitigate the impact of climate change on their farms since 2004.
  • 12. Global Responsibility Report Starbucks is committed to being a good corporate citizen. It has been publicly reporting its goals and performance in the area of corporate social responsibility since 2001. Its annual Global Responsibility report reflect the impact it has made over the past year. However, it is an opportunity to be more intentional and focused about what it can do in the future more than reporting on past progress.
  • 13. Global Responsibility Report 2012 Global Responsibility Report is posted a message from Howard Schultz who is chairman, president and ceo. In 2012, Starbucks opened our third community store in Houston, Texas. Youth Leadership Grants program reaches more than 50,000 young people each year, creating innovative and positive solutions to local needs while empowering young people.
  • 14. My Starbucks Idea.com Blair Taylor invites users to learn more about the report and welcomes their feedback and ideas. My Starbucks Idea.com is looking for feedback from users. It also supports against complain and claim. By doing so, it will endeavor to improve the products and business, and fulfill a corporate responsibility for society.
