ISRAELI
CULTURE
How to Act Like a Born & Raised in Israel
8. Israeli Culture
The state of feeling and expressing joy and
sympathy for someone else’s well-being or
achievement without jealousy or selfishness.
A genuine attempt at making someone else
feel good, not to be confused with simply
complimenting someone

“We, Israelis, always say: ‘I CAN do it’, even if
we got a NO for an answer. We believe in
ourselves (self-confidence!) so much that, in
the end, we WILL DO IT NO MATTER
WHAT and will also convince the other person
to change his mind and give you the ‘YES’
you’re waiting for”
9. Israeli Culture
“The culture of improvisation in Israel supports “thinking
outside the box”. This means not just going along with an
existing plan but continually thinking, initiating and
changing until the desired goal is reached”
