Riverdale is an American television program that is based primarily on the Archie comics which were
first released in the 1940 s. The comics focus largely on a love triangle between the three main
characters, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, and Archie Andrews. Unlike the television show, Betty and
Veronica see one another as frenemies and are constantly at odds over Archie, who is never at fault for
