Kinetic disabilities
Second month’s activities have been completed to our school! First, we
made a mental map for the term kinetic disabilities and then, we read the
fairytale "Moza, the cat". The students were very excited. They saw
pictures with people with kinetic disabilities that were driving a car,
playing basketball, drawing with the mouth and leg, dancing...Then, we
expanded our mental map with more words... Continuing, we watched
videos in youtube that were about people with kinetic disabilities and
special abilities in many sections, such as dance, theater, musical
instruments etc., we met our friend David (our students are very excited
that met him). Also, we had our first cooperation with the special primary
school of Kilkis. A student with cerebral palsy came to our school with the
psychologist of their school and we made common activities. We played a
game with proverbs. The student with cerebral palsy couldn't talk so we
gave her the opportunity to answer with pictures...Also, we played music
chairs. The winner sat on a wheel chair.....Students had the opportunity to
be on the wheel chair and feel like people with kinetic disabilities!!! We
had so much fun.....
