Industrial Process Management Using LabVIEWIOSR Journals
Nowadays process management is a tedious task in the industry. We plan to propose a LabVIEW
based intelligent multi parameter monitoring system designed using RS232 and Microcontroller aids in the
measurement and control of various Global Parameters. For data collection in the industry is a difficult task in
real time execution of events with industrial process control and automation. We proposed two slaves for
measuring various industrial parameters to monitor and control industrial process. Data acquired from each
slave is processed and sent to Master that compile data received from different slaves and send this information
to the system configured with LabVIEW platform. This enables us to view and track the online changes
encountered in the particular parameter of all the parameters. One of the main advantages of this proposal is, it
allows us to view all the parameter readings simultaneously on the front panel in LabVIEW. The Graph drawn
on the front panel keeps on tracking the changes on the parameter. The parameters supported by this project
includes: current, voltage, temperature, frequency, light intensity, logic switches, water level identifier, and
alarm. This Project can be implemented in any of the process industries where there is a need for Simultaneous
and fast acquiring of data and control

Vhdl code and project report of arithmetic and logic unitNikhil Sahu
The main objective of project is to design and verify different operations of Arithmetic and Logical Unit (ALU). We have designed an 8 bit ALU which accepts two 8 bits numbers and the code corresponding to the operation which it has to perform from the user. The ALU performs the desired operation and generates the result accordingly. The different operations that we dealt with, are arithmetical, logical and relational. Arithmetic operations include arithmetic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Logical operations include AND, OR, NAND, XOR, NOT and NOR. These take two binary inputs and result in output logically operated. The operations like the greater than, less than, equal to, exponential etc are also included. To implement ALU, the coding was written in VHDL . The waveforms were obtained successfully. After the coding was done, the synthesis of the code was performed using Xilinx-ISE. Synthesis translates VHDL code into netlist (a textual description). Thereafter, the simulation was done to verify the synthesized code.

it is a small computer on a single integrated circuit containing a processor core, memory, and programmable input/output peripherals. program memory in the form of ferroelectric ram, nor flash or otp romis also often included on chip, as well as a typically small amount of ram. microcontrollers are designed for embedded applications, in contrast to the microprocessors used in personal computers or other general purpose applications.
microcontrollers are used in automatically controlled products and devices, such as automobile engine control systems, implantable medical devices, remote controls, office machines, appliances, power tools, toys and other embedded systems. by reducing the size and cost compared to a design that uses a separate microprocessor, memory, and input/output devices, microcontrollers make it economical to digitally control even more devices and processes. mixed signal microcontrollers are common, integrating analog components needed to control non-digital electronic systems.
Two innovative high-speed low power parallel 8-bit counter architectures are proposed. Then, High speed 8-bit frequency divider circuits using the proposed architectures are realized. The proposed parallel counter architectures consist of two sections – The Counting Path and the State Excitation Module. The counting path consists of three counting modules in which the first module (basic module) generates future states for the two remaining counting modules. The State Excitation Module decodes the count states of the basic module and carries this decoding over clock cycles through pipelined DFF to trigger the subsequent counting modules. The existing 8-bit parallel counter architecture [1] consumed a total transistor count of 442 whereas the proposed parallel counters consumed only 274 transistors. The power dissipation of the existing parallel counter architecture and the proposed parallel counter architecture were 4.21mW (PINT) and 3.60mW (PINT) respectively at 250MHz. The worst case delay observed for the 8-bit counter using existing parallel counter architecture [1] and the proposed parallel counter architectures were 7.481ns, 6.737ns and 6.677ns respectively using Altera Quartus II. A reduction in area (transistor count) by 27.45% and a reduction in power dissipation by 16.28% are achieved for the frequency dividers using proposed counter architectures. Also a reduction in delay by 10.75% and 7.62% is achieved for the 8-bit frequency divider circuits using proposed counter methods I & II respectively.
Counters are specialized registers and is considered as essential building blocks for a variety of circuit operations such as programmable frequency dividers, shifters, code generators, memory select management, and various arithmetic operations. Since many applications are comprised of these fundamental operations, much research focuses on efficient counter architecture design. This paper proposes an 8-bit high speed parallel counter architecture. The counter consists of two main sections- the counting section and the state Anticipation Module. The total equivalent gate count for our proposed counter is 164 whereas the existing counter architecture consumes 266.The delay of the proposed counter architecture is 3.968ns and that of existing counter is 4.952ns. The Power consumption is 28.80mW for our proposed counter and 29.24mW for the existing one.

June 3, 2024 Anti-Semitism Letter Sent to MIT President Kornbluth and MIT Cor...Levi Shapiro
Letter from the Congress of the United States regarding Anti-Semitism sent June 3rd to MIT President Sally Kornbluth, MIT Corp Chair, Mark Gorenberg
Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. The Committee followed the hearing with letters to those institutions on January 10, 202
