Nigel has an extensive background in IT Project Management, predominantly in the
Automotive and Aerospace sectors, though here also a mix of Retail, Fashion and
Healthcare experience in there too. All primarily with an ERP focus, melding predictive,
agile and hybrid approaches over quite a few years. Nigel is also a longstanding member of
the Bullring Speakers Toastmasters Club which provides the effective communication skills
base to support his professional services.
Has supported the PMI UK Chapter since 2014 and is currently Regional Vice Chair of the
Midlands Branch, member of both the PMI UK Mentoring Programme Team and the Digital
Events Team.

3. Maggie Fennell-Wells – Immediate Past President Bullring Speakers
Maggie is a product developer, project manager and change facilitator in a commercial
nursery, co-ordinating research projects and presenting sustainable planting techniques to
landscape professionals. She joined toastmasters in 2018 and became Vice President of
Membership, and then Club President at Birmingham Bullring Speakers club in 2019. She
has also lived in Mexico and Spain and enjoys experimental baking.
4. Aadil Farooq – VP Membership Bullring Speakers
Aadil has been an on and off member of Toastmasters since 2014 and initially joined to
improve his ability and confidence in speaking to an audience and to overcome his shyness.
Using the skills he has gained from Toastmasters he has excelled in speeches as a student at
University and in extra-curricular pursuits using the power of storytelling to impact an
audience. He is now utilising these skills and taking them further in his current role as
Project Coordinator for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. Now his focus is around
reaping what you o and seeking to be much more proactive as a Toastmaster, as Vice
President of Memberships for Bullring Speakers and in life.
5. Gavin Yearwood – President Bullring Speakers
Dr Gavin Yearwood has been a member of toastmasters for almost 10 years. It started by
believing he was a better public speaker than he thought before being humbled in table
topics led to a near decade long journey of self improvement. This has led Gavin to take
part in various speaking competitions reaching the 2016 district final in table topics a
weekend event which was held in Dublin Ireland. To taking up various leadership roles in
toastmasters from, treasurer being in charge of toastmasters finance, vice president of
education who is charge of setting up meeting and ensuring people achieve their speaking
and educational goals. Gavin was also a founding member of the University of Birmingham
Gavel club, being their first vice president of education, has been a mentor to over 10
toastmasters and is the current president of bullring speakers.
6. Mo Kasujee – Area 39 Director Toastmasters
Mo is passionate about helping people to realise their potential with a people centred
approach to personal development. Having previously worked in corporate roles within the
medical industry, he now works as a personal development coach whilst also managing his
own career development business. Mo is an experienced public speaker and has been
involved with Toastmasters International for 5 years as a president of a club and currently
serving as Area Director, managing the development of 5 public speaking clubs in the West
Midlands.
7. Jin Atwal – VP Membership Walsall Speakers
Jin Atwal, self-employed property investor and founder of Magical Mornings and Magical
Speaking. Jin invested in property on a part-time basis for over a decade alongside his
corporate job and made the decision to go full-time when he was made redundant just
over 3 years ago. The success of his property business has allowed him to pursue his real
passion of helping young children develop core life skills that enable them to become the
best versions of themselves. He has turned his vision into reality by creating two
programmes that help children build a positive mind-set, as well as build their confidence,
communication and leadership skills. Jin is a strong believer in life-long learning, physical
and mental health and dedicates time to work on each of these daily. His main goal in life is
to be happy, which to him means living his purpose and being the best father, husband,
brother, son and friend he can be.
