IRJET- Development of Accident Prediction Model on Horizontal CurvesIRJET Journal
This document describes a study that developed accident prediction models for horizontal curves on roads. The study collected geometric data like radius of curvature, sight distance, and tangent length for road sections using tools like GPS and total station surveys. Accident data for the sections from the past 4 years was also obtained from police reports. Preliminary analysis examined the relationship between equivalent property damage crashes and factors like radius of curvature. Regression analysis in SPSS was then used to create prediction models for different vehicle types (two-wheelers, LCVs, etc.), relating equivalent property damage to geometric factors. The models were validated on a test dataset, and accuracy was evaluated using metrics like RMSE. The models allow identifying dangerous locations and facilitating safety measures to reduce

Choosing Optimization Process In The Event Of Fligh Plan Interruption With Th...IJESM JOURNAL
In the world today, superior industry is one that makes balance between its capabilities and demands of customer. This requires organization’s knowledge of customer, and their demands. In this research, a process-oriented process was proposed for choosing optimized process by managers of aviation industry in the event of interruption of flight plan. In first stage, interrupting factors of flight plan were described together with solutions to reduce them. Then, effect of each of these factors on interruption as well as on chosen options were collected from experts using paired comparison questionnaires, by geometrical average of combination and the outcomes were analyzed using network analysis process. The results included effect of each factor on interruption of flight plan together with weight of each option for decision making. In the end, based on the obtained results, proper decisions to be adopted in the event of interruption were proposed. This research shows that technical defect and delayed arrival are among the most important interrupting factors of flight plan, and notice of delay, cancellation, and replacement of route were among the most important decision instances faced by managers in aviation industry in the event of interruption of flight.

This paper highlights the effect of Digital literacy on digital information seeking
behaviour and use among managers of telecommunication companies in Saudi Arabia.
The study adopts a quantitative research approach. The researcher uses information
from the survey to generalise findings from a sample to a population. A sample size of
500 was anticipated from the total population of approximately 850 managers from the
four telecommunication companies. For the primary data collection in this study, a
survey questionnaire was employed. The findings indicate a positive effect of digital
literacy. The emergence of digital information disseminations in a digital knowledgebased system yielded improved skills and capabilities for both individuals and
organisations in information use. The use of a single-informant method, a crosssectional research design and a focus on four telecommunication companies in Saudi

Learning in Interorganizational Relationships of the Union of Clothing Manufa...IJERA Editor
The research presents as a cooperation network can provide a collective learning environment, represented mainly by the dynamics of interaction that occurs between companies through the emergence of interorganizational learning and innovation practices. Thus, this article aims to investigate what the main practices of inter-organizational learning and innovation in existing partner organizations in the Union network of Clothing Manufacturers of Taquaral / Goiás and region (UCMT / GOIÁS), trying to understand how they occur. As a research strategy, we opted for an exploratory research, with qualitative and quantitative approach through case study. In the survey results found that learning companies are contributing to the improvement of production processes and the introduction of new products by companies. It was found that the associated companies had access to new concepts and know-how of production, knowledge providers and representatives, knowledge about new technologies and raw materials, creating their brands and new product designs, as well as a better understanding of business cooperative system. Moreover, the experience of formal and informal situations of inter-organizational learning, which offered chances to UCMT entrepreneurs so that they could share skills, experiences and know-how promoted on the network, an intense sharing tacit knowledge environment, key resource for sustainability of competitive advantages in the long term. Thus, the creation of the Network enabled knowledge to be shared, bringing benefits to members, such as production processes, suppliers, raw materials, technology and market.

Determining Regional Shortening of the Taurus Foreland FoldsNorthern IraqIJERA Editor
This study presents a structural profile for determining the regional shortening that extends south-North for( 55 km.) from the southern limb of Dahkan anticline (30 km.) North of Mosul city to the border between folded and thrust zones, to the North within Duhok governorate. The cross-section cut six anticlines and five synclines. The amount of regional shortening of the Taurus fold and the depth of detachment surface as well of each fold were quantified on the basis of simple geological trend and measurements of mathematical approaches. Consequently, encourage results show that the regional shortening is nearly (15.9 %) and the depth to the detachment surface calculated for Bekhair anticline is ( 6.28 km.) .
Objective: This is the summary of my Theory of Everything (1975-1992), which contains, explains and interrelates all the fundamental elements, laws and principles of the Cosmos structuring, starting from the simplest one as it is the cosmic energy (dark energy),for later on to go composing all other more complex elements, one after another.(Complete theory can be found in my Cosmos and Atoms models) Methods: This work is gotten with the study and unification of all fundamental physical parameters, proofs and observations that are known till now, starting from the first basic cosmic elements, till the total construction of the cosmic structure that this theory exposes, beginning with the following explanation: The Cosmos structure is supported by two main basic elements: Space and Universal Motion. * This theory understands time as a component parameter of the Universal Motion, necessary for something can move continually along space. Thus, time is a property or dimension of the Universal Motion. And to start the cosmic structuringit is needed the union of these two fundamental elements, given as result a new composed cosmic element that is the Cosmic Energy (dark matter, antique aether) Result and conclusion: The result is evident because it is gotten a total explanation in a simple theory of the whole Cosmos structuring, valid either to sub-atomic level, atomic level and star level. Thus, this is a unique and unified theory that embraces all the physical elements, laws, forces, levels (micro and macrocosms) etc., where all they are connected, integrated and dependent among them.

Harmonics Reduction of Multilevel Inverter Drive Using Sine Carrier Pulse Wid...IJERA Editor
The main objective of this paper is to control the speed of an induction motor by using seven level diode clamped multilevel inverter and improve the high quality sinusoidal output voltage with reduced harmonics. The presented scheme for diode clamped multilevel inverter is sine carrier Pulse Width Modulation control. An open loop speed control can be achieved by using V/ƒ method. This method can be implemented by changing the supply voltage and frequency applied to the three phase induction motor at constant ratio. The presented system is an effective replacement for the conventional method which has high switching losses, its result ends in a poor drive performance. The simulation result portrays the effective control in the motor speed and an enhanced drive performance through reduction in total harmonic distortion (THD). The effectiveness of the system is verified through simulation using PSIM6.1 Simulink package

Equational Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results of this study
indicated that environmental risk of land use changes in Makassar City was
influenced by infrastructure and community behavior. Accessibility has an effect on
the environmental risk. Its influence was significant both directly and indirectly
(through infrastructure and community behavior). Meanwhile, the population did not
have a direct effect on the environmental risks. The influence of the population on the
environmental risks increased through community behavior and infrastructure.

Urban design is a technique and knowledge seeking to organize and improve urban qualities
and increase the quality of citizenship life. Based on the perspectives and objectives of urban design, the
dominant intention in all urbanism activities is to reach high humanistic and social dimensions. In fact,
what give meaning to a city are the social aspects raised in recent urban activities, in addition to the
physical and visual body of it. Over the past decade the quality of the walking environment has become
a significant factor in transportation planning and design in developed countries. It is argued that the
pedestrians’ environment has been ignored in favors of automobile. The purpose of this study was to
examine the effects of walkability on property values and investment returns. Research method is
descriptive. The method of collected data is field. Also, were used questionnaire tools in order to
collecting data. On the other hand, was referred to municipality 9 region due to, studied area was

The typological features of university campus areas are shaped according to their locations in the city. Campuses in city centers carry great potentials for students’ cultural, intellectual and artistic activities, especially for those from faculty of architecture and design, with close relations to the city. In big metropolitan cities, it is hard to reserve land for campuses therefore they emerge as vertical settlements. On the other hand, campuses built on the periphery mainly feature horizontal planning characteristics due to availability of land. The aim of this paper is to develop an approach for measuring architecture students’ aesthetic experience of vertical and horizontal campuses in relation to sense of place theory. Recently, emerging technologies in cognitive science, such as brain imaging techniques, activity maps, sensory maps, cognitive mapping and photo-projective method etc., have enabled advanced measurement of aesthetic experience. In this exploratory research, using ‘photo-projective method’, students will be asked to interpret and draw ‘cognitive maps’ of the places that they are happy to be (defined place) or to see (landscape) on the campus. Based on students’ impressions and experiences, it will be possible to compare aesthetic experience on vertical and horizontal campus. Thus, a comprehensive approach for improving campus design according to users’ aesthetic experiences and sense of place rather than building technology, law, development and finance driven obligations will be introduced.

Social networking app has been growing very rapidly in the past decade. One of the important features of social media is the ability of system that can attach coordinate where users are located (check-in). The aim of this study is to identify the characteristic of human mobility patterns in Bandung city. We proposed a technique uses pixel matching approach. In this paper, we describe the visualization of the city is determined by the activity of people on Twitter social media. Our work includes firstly, characterize the pattern of user’s interest to different types of places. Secondly, to characterize the pattern of user visits to different neighborhoods with way choose the user’s activity pattern on the weekdays and weekends. We then categorize the existing place based on the period of time that people visiting. Meanwhile, to define the existing areas, we used official map the city planning department as parameters to determine the user’s movement. Our research will answer the question whether the Twitter App data is a viable resource to measure the human movement? The result indicates that it can be used as the one of the sources of information data to understand urban human mobility

Planning for Metro Transit Transportation System a simplified Approach: A Cas...IJAEMSJORNAL
Currently Muscat the capital city of Oman is suffering from many traffic and transported related problems. Some of the serious concerns are high vehicle ownerships, low occupancy in personalized vehicles and poor patronization towards public transportation systems. Ruwi is the City center and a major Central Business District in Muscat. More than one million commuters daily visit Ruwi City center for their day to day business. The common transportation related problems often reported by the citizens at Ruwi CBD, are traffic congestion, over speeding of vehicles, inadequacy of parking places and pedestrian safety. All such problems can be eliminated by providing efficient public transportation system by restricting the entry of personal vehicles and para transit. In this technical paper, panning and designing of public transit facility by metro transport facility is attempted by capturing land use and travel information of daily commuters at Ruwi CBD area. An extensive literature review is carried for establishing the bench marking while planning metro transit system. For this the CBD area is cordoned and divided into traffic analysis zones based on the land use characteristics. Travel information of the commuter is estimated through interviewing them at the CBD entry gateway points and work locations. Land use characteristics are captured through reconnaissance of the area and random inspection of land parcels. Land use Information captured through the Google images and physical verification of data of the selected sample land parcels helped in estimation and characterization of the land use. Questionnaire survey at the activity centers helped in estimation of total trips attracted by the land uses. Travel characteristics, derived through the personal interviews of the commuters, facilitated for the estimation of total trips. Trip factors for different land uses are derived. Total trips generated are quantified and is used in planning of Metro Transit facility at the Ruwi city center. Commuter circulation pattern for the metro transit is also scheduled. Also it is proposed to carry extensive literature for establishing bench mark while planning the transit system.
Study of influence towards on transport network and usage of land in urban ar...ramakrishnark019
An urban transportation system is crucial to a city's overall development. Having an effective transportation system is crucial to raising the standard of living in urban areas. Effective utilization is crucial due to the transportation network's enormous development costs. Reaching optimal utilization necessitates appropriate connectivity and orientation. Urbanization has led to massive population growth and related activities in many developing countries. Inadequate transportation options and associated travel problems are the result of this. Therefore, developing ways to increase the transport network's efficiency requires a parameter-based evaluation of the network. It involves determining the variables that affect travel as well as the instruments and methods for defining urban features including the land use and transportation system. Research gaps are determined using the literature review as a guide. By recognizing the influences of land use on networks, networks on land use, networks on travel, and once again, networks on travel, the current study offers a paradigm for developing urban transportation networks. Information about land use, zonal boundaries, and the road network was gathered from the appropriate organizations. GIS was used to convert these to digital format.

Conceptualizing Sustainable Transportation for City of Pune, IndiaIJERA Editor
Pune the second largest city of Maharashtra state of Indian union is witnessing large scale urban sprawl and its
negative ramifications in last couple of decades. Urban sprawl is defined as dispersed and discontinuous
suburban land development associated with low population densities and high auto dependence. This
phenomenon is adversely affecting sustainability of the city because of its negative environmental, social and
economic impacts. It saps local resources, destroys open space and farmland, and increases the energy
consumption of mobility by promoting long travel distances. Another problem is high levels of traffic
congestion and harmful emissions causing environmental pollution. There is a plethora of research that sought
to address the issue of urban sustainability and combat sprawl; little has been done on developing analytical
tools that could be used to assess the future of urban sustainability for Indian cities and for Pune in particular.
This paper explores that how particular land use development patterns or the expansion of the current urban
transportation infrastructure are likely to impact urban sustainability.

DEEP LEARNING FOR SMART GRID INTRUSION DETECTION: A HYBRID CNN-LSTM-BASED MODELgerogepatton
As digital technology becomes more deeply embedded in power systems, protecting the communication
networks of Smart Grids (SG) has emerged as a critical concern. Distributed Network Protocol 3 (DNP3)
represents a multi-tiered application layer protocol extensively utilized in Supervisory Control and Data
Acquisition (SCADA)-based smart grids to facilitate real-time data gathering and control functionalities.
Robust Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) are necessary for early threat detection and mitigation because
of the interconnection of these networks, which makes them vulnerable to a variety of cyberattacks. To
solve this issue, this paper develops a hybrid Deep Learning (DL) model specifically designed for intrusion
detection in smart grids. The proposed approach is a combination of the Convolutional Neural Network
(CNN) and the Long-Short-Term Memory algorithms (LSTM). We employed a recent intrusion detection
dataset (DNP3), which focuses on unauthorized commands and Denial of Service (DoS) cyberattacks, to
train and test our model. The results of our experiments show that our CNN-LSTM method is much better
at finding smart grid intrusions than other deep learning algorithms used for classification. In addition,
our proposed approach improves accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score, achieving a high detection
accuracy rate of 99.50%.

Embedded machine learning-based road conditions and driving behavior monitoringIJECEIAES
Car accident rates have increased in recent years, resulting in losses in human lives, properties, and other financial costs. An embedded machine learning-based system is developed to address this critical issue. The system can monitor road conditions, detect driving patterns, and identify aggressive driving behaviors. The system is based on neural networks trained on a comprehensive dataset of driving events, driving styles, and road conditions. The system effectively detects potential risks and helps mitigate the frequency and impact of accidents. The primary goal is to ensure the safety of drivers and vehicles. Collecting data involved gathering information on three key road events: normal street and normal drive, speed bumps, circular yellow speed bumps, and three aggressive driving actions: sudden start, sudden stop, and sudden entry. The gathered data is processed and analyzed using a machine learning system designed for limited power and memory devices. The developed system resulted in 91.9% accuracy, 93.6% precision, and 92% recall. The achieved inference time on an Arduino Nano 33 BLE Sense with a 32-bit CPU running at 64 MHz is 34 ms and requires 2.6 kB peak RAM and 139.9 kB program flash memory, making it suitable for resource-constrained embedded systems.
Using recycled concrete aggregates (RCA) for pavements is crucial to achieving sustainability. Implementing RCA for new pavement can minimize carbon footprint, conserve natural resources, reduce harmful emissions, and lower life cycle costs. Compared to natural aggregate (NA), RCA pavement has fewer comprehensive studies and sustainability assessments.

I. INTRODUCTION
Generally people travel from one place to
another to consume a certain service & facilities as a
part of his daily life. These service & facilities are
often treated as opportunities that are accessible to a
person physically. Considering travel as a derived
demand, transportation researchers have recognized
that the spatial and temporal distribution of activities
can determine where and when people travel (Damn,
1983).
In the context of a trip to campus,
especially in developing countries such as Indonesia,
a trip to campus activities contributed greatly to the
transportation problems such as traffic congestion,
air pollution and noise pollution. This is a concern
for urban transport planners in terms of reducing the
impact caused by traveling to campus. Trip
generation and trip attraction to campus cause
problems in the urban transport system especially in
Makassar City such as traffic congestion and delays
at intersections on the streets around the campus.
And as a result it causes impacts derivative form of
increased travel costs and increasing the amount of
vehicle emissions in the form of air pollution and
rising noise levels.
So, it is very important to consider the
location of home constraint of an individual to
access the opportunities in case of measuring
accessibility. Individuals need to perform various
activities to maintain existence in society. Although
certain activities may occur simultaneously, more
often they exclude each other and are executed in a
sequence in which each activity has to be carried out
within a given duration, at a certain place, and in
presence of other individuals. Because spatial
movement consumes time and due to the specific
time budge of the individual, activities which have
fixed execution time or locations limit him from
physically participating in events elsewhere.
Therefore, a better grasp of spatial and temporal
characteristics of human activities and interactions
can help researchers gain a better understanding of
the land use and thus accessibility to urban
opportunities.
Another thing many colleges and
universities, both public and private schools in the
city of Makassar, cause of choice in education,
especially from the eastern region of Indonesia. This
has become one of the attractions to stay in urban
areas especially in Makassar.
A. What is GIS?
There are several definitions of GIS
(Geographic Information Systems), which is not
simply a program. In general, GIS are systems that
allow for the use of geographic information (data
have spatial coordinates). In particular, GIS allow
for the view, query, calculation and analysis of
spatial data, which are mainly distinguished in raster
or vector data structures. Vector is made of objects
that can be points, lines or polygons, and each object
can have one ore more attribute values; a raster is a
grid (or image) where each cell has an attribute
value (Fisher and Unwin, 2005). Several GIS
applications use raster images that are derived from
remote sensing.

GIS (Geographic Information System) is a powerful
tool that allows to perform spatial analysis and
graphic representation of large amounts of data.
Analysis of demand for transport and transport
planning is a process of intensive data processing.
Understanding the needs of the transport depends on
the analysis of travel behavior, which in turn
depends on several factors among which are the
socio-demographic characteristics, the
characteristics of land use and transport system
itself. This paper explores how GIS can be used to
analyze a sample that represents the population of
spatial data and temporal data varied.
B. Spatial Analysis
Spatial analysis is a set of techniques for
analyzing spatial data. The result of spatial analysis
depends on the location of the object being analyzed.
Software which implements spatial analysis
techniques require access to both the location of
objects and attributes. The main spatial analysis are
described below
a. Measurement.

VI. SPATIAL ANALYSIS.
A. Standard deviation Distance (SDD)
Spatial analysis standard deviation distance
is a way to measure the spatial patterns in the
distribution of a group of data points and generate a
single feature that represents the dispersion features
around the center point (mean or median). Values
that produced a polygon with a certain radius, so that
the results of the analysis in the form of new features
that describe the cohesiveness of data points and can
be represented on the map by drawing a circle with
the same radius. Standard Distance tool creates a
new feature class containing a circle polygon
centered on the mean center (one center and one
loop per case, if the field is specified cases). Each
polygon drawn a circle with a radius equal to the
standard deviation distance (SDD).
Student residential location (Unhas, UNM)
has been analyzed and mapped using the standard
deviation distance (SDD) as described in Figure 8.

C. Spatial statistical method with Heat map
Usefulness of Spatial statistical method according to
Scott (2008) is a spatial statistical analysis has three
purposes, namely:
Measurement of a distribution of spatial (A
measure of what's going on spatially).
Identify the characteristics of a distribution
(Identifying characteristics of a distribution)
Quantification of geographic patterns
(quantifying geographic pattern).
• Density Estimation or more appropriately
termed as the estimated probability density
estimation on the surface that typology point, by
using kernel methods. Each kernel estimate
every point in a grid that overlap the distribution
pattern point.
• Hot Spot Detection analysis, the method used is
the quadrant count, to present a grouping by
comparing the number of occurrences (point)
with a random area. Point analyzed are divided
into groups according to the hierarchy of
densities by using more than a circle ellipse. A
heat map is a two-dimensional representation of
the data in which the values represented by the
color. A map Heat map gives a visual summary
directly from the existing information.
• Heat map more complicated map allows
viewers to understand more easily than a set of
complex data. There are many ways to ask
questions heat map, but all have one goal and
one thing in common, namely by using
gradation colors to communicate about the
relationship between the values of the data in
the form of a map heat map which would be
much more difficult to understand when
presented in numerical form in the data table.
The result of spatial analysis methods have
been performed on the heat map the location
residential students (Unhas, UNM and UNM Pinisi
Parangtambung) in order to determine the most
dense residential location as described in the figure
9,10 and 11.

C. Spatial statistical method with Grid
A grid density is a way to visualize and
analyze the data point to change the points to a grid
cell. Each grid cell is generated by the value
determined by the density of the closest points,
optional weighting each point using the weight
values.
Density grid useful for crime mapping data
to indicate the location of hot spots, mapping vehicle
miles traveled to areas where congestion and air
pollution are higher, and analyze the pattern of
population density in urban areas.
The results of the mapping grid spatial
analysis methods (1000 m x 1000 m) have been
conducted to determine the location of residential
students (Unhas, UNM and UNM Pinisi
Parangtambung) based on the density level as
described in Figure 12, 13,14

D. Analysis spatial and Test point of Patterns
Spatial Clustering
Realization of points spatially manifested
by a pattern such points in space. A pattern of points
in space, in principle, there are three kinds, namely
spatial random pattern of dots, patterns of spatial
points (student residential location) on a regular
basis as well as the spatial pattern of points in
groups. Spatial pattern of points caused by process
group (factor of social and economic factors) that
drive these points move to approach certain sources
(campus).
Many other examples that show the spatial
distribution point that is the group. Therefore, it is
important suspect form of spatial distribution point.
whether or not the group is. There are two strategies
for detecting the spatial distribution point group that
is suspected mass function of the point spread odds
or determine the statistical count that indicates
whether the spatial distribution point is the group or
not.

Methods for analyzing student residential
location patterns whether the data pattern of random,
patterned uniform or patterned accumulate (claster)
is to use a nearest neighbor analysis claster.Indeks
(NNI) is an indicator for clustering, which is
calculated by comparing the distribution of observed
events to the expected random distribution of these
values. Figure 15 describes three types of patterns
that are likely to happen in a student residential.

From the survey data, analyzed by nearest
neighbor analysis method index (NNI) on residential
location of graduate students (Unhas, UNM) with
QGIS program, as shown in Figure 16. and the
results are tabulated with variable testing with the
nearest neighbor index (NNI) asin table 2.
Figure 16 : Spatial analysis methods with nearest
neighbor index in QGIS program
According to analysis by the method of the
nearest neighbor index (NNI) it could be concluded
that the trend of the three locations the student
residential (Unhas, UNM Pinisi and UNM
Parangtambung) are a cluster pattern and it is
influenced by social and economic factors that lead
to the location of the campus. The results of the
analysis with the nearest neighbor index method is
presented in table 2.

VII. CONCLUSION
Makassar City is the center of development
and education development in eastern Indonesia, and
the condition is still lagging compared with the
western part of Indonesia. Because Makassar is a
center of growth, the effects are the problems of
transportation in the city of Makassar, especially at
peak hours such as the problems of congestion and
air pollution and noise pollution, It also occurs in the
vicinity of the campus. This study aims to
understand the relationship characteristics of college
students traveling to campus and with the selection
of residential locations. The method used is the
spatial analysis with the help of open source QGIS
program to understand the density of residential
location patterns of residential students and college
students.

From the analysis it can be concluded that
college students in the city of Makassar in general
use motorcycles and residential patterns are students
around campus and the residential nature cluster
pattern. From the results, it made reference in
managing land use and sustainable transportation in
the city of Makassar.
