13. Reflexive Verbs
Definition- A verb whose subject and object
are the same. Doing something to
yourself.
Ex. Yo me seco con una toalla.
I dry myself with a towel.
Yo me pono el champú cuando ducho.
I put on shampoo when I shower.
14. Tú Commands
Tú commands are used when telling someone to
go do something.
Ex. Desayuna con tu madre.
(You) Eat breakfast with your mother.
Compra la pasta de dientes.
(You) Buy the toothpaste.
15. DOP + Placement
Using pronouns to shorten commands given.
Ex. Compra usted los libros. (You go buy the books.)
This sentence then becomes…
Compra usted. (Buy them.)
16. Preterit
Use preterits to show past tense. Take a
“snapshot” of something.
