Every business should innovate - and innovation does not require coming up with earth-shattering new ideas. Innovation in business can be subtle and measured. Innovation should also be inclusive, meaning that all employees in a company should be able to give ideas on how to improve the business. Restricting innovation to a particular level of management or department is wasting potential resources that you already have - the creativity that lies hidden within your work force.
So get everyone involved and start innovating. If you don't you may just be left behind.

Finding Your Work Sweet Spot - Genuine Interest, Skills & OpportunityUpskilled
In a perfect world, every one of us would get paid doing something we truly love to do. We’d wake up in the morning feeling fulfilled because our vocation is one that we are interested in, that we have the skill set for, and that allows us room to grow and expand. Unfortunately, it’s not, which is something that Scott Belsky, co-founder of Behance, bestselling author of Making Ideas Happen, and Adobe’s Vice President of Community, wants to remedy. Belsky believes that each person has a work “sweet spot,” or the intersection between Genuine Interest, Skills, and Opportunities. It is in this area that we can truly maximize our potential for creative greatness. Finding this place of productivity will also enable you to lead others to the same area.
Influencers prefer sharing content they find themselves. Here's how to break into their headspace with your brand and content without directly pitching them.

It closes with some questions and suggestions on how to raise the value of the community, hopefully resulting in increasing the chances to see more profitable portfolios.

Beyond your studies ~ You studied X at Y. now what?
HackPra, July 2018
A student's life ago, the author somehow managed to graduate.
On the way, he made a lot of mistakes -- and he still does.
A few people since called him 'successful', but LOL, if only they knew....
And now, the author will do another (big!) mistake:
instead of hiding in shame as he probably should,
he'll share his mistakes with anyone bored enough to attend,
in the hope that he's the last person to ever look that dumb to commit such mistakes.
If you're a genius and you know what to do in life, please skip this. Seriously.
If, like the author at the time, you wonder WTF is going on with graduation, professional work and life, then hopefully you learn a few things. Maybe.
Btw the author is 42 (WTF - old!).
Maybe that will help to provide a few answers.
