Arrival
   According to legend, the god Quetzalcoatl was
    a white man with a beard who sailed to the
    east, promising to return
   In 1519, Hernan Cortez and his fleet arrive near
    what is now Veracruz, and burn their ships.
   At first welcoming, Moctezuma soon became
    wary of the Spanish and mounted the offensive
   Enemies of the Aztecs, the Tlexcala, welcomed
    Cortez and his fleet and began to return
    aggression against the Triple Alliance
Destruction
   Moctezuma invited the Spaniards to a
    precession in Tenochtitlan, and greeted
    eachother with gifts
   However, the Spaniards placed Moctezuma in
    chains, and displayed him to his people
   Either Cortez betrayed Moctezuma, or the
    Mexica killed him, but either way the Aztecs
    were fallen
