• Ahuitzotl came into power in 1486. He finished the great temple of
Tenochtitlan. Thousands of people were sacrificed to the Gods in 1487. He
pushed back the Aztec boundaries by war.
• In 1503, Moctezuma 2 succeeded Auitzotl. He continued the Aztec power
politically.
