There have been three inbound Souns Grants in Puerto Rico since 2011
and one outbound to District 6900
10. Results
With 100% of the sets in-use and 20 children per classroom,
the existing program can impact up to 8,500 preschoolers, year after year!

12. Scalability
D7000 in partnership with D6900, D6960, D6990,
D7730 and the Rotary clubs of San Juan, Smyrna,
Peachtree City, La Grange, and Cape Coral Gold Coast
have submitted a Fourth Global Grant (GG1751286) for
$163,000 called Let Every Child Read Commemorating
100 years of Rotary in Puerto Rico.
When it is completed, the Souns program will be present
in over 1,250 classrooms and over 25,000 preschoolers
will be impacted in Puerto Rico…yearly.
This represents nearly 70% of the pre-school population
on the island.
