Based on my experience of going out and build the network of people who I know, I created this slide deck and shared with a group of KMSers. Hope you will find it useful.
A program that will not entice you to make money, but commits to teach you the "right principles" of life which can give you longer lasting, meaningful, purposeful success!
Listen and watch Content Development experts Deborah Limb and Lindsey Coode as they show you 'Little known ways to engage your learners' on this Learning Pool webinar. It's bursting with engagement tips that will leave you feeling energised and primed to look at your learning in a different light.
I was recently inspired by a tweet from Michael Karnjanaprakorn (founder/chairman of Skillshare) who shared that one of his most recent hires shared a personal deck to tell her/his story. I thought I’d give it a shot.
The Student Room - How to Engage Someone Already Engaged with Something ElseThe Student Room Group
We marketers are always so focused on KPI’s, targeting and deadlines, but how many of us stop and think whether we’ve done enough to deserve the attention of a youth audience.
Jack’s keynote speech was presented to over 300 marketing professionals at Voxburner's Youth Marketing Strategy Event 2015.
Why you should (or shouldn't) hire me; a personal pitch deckJean-Guy Rouleau
This is my personal pitch deck, a visual and more personal replacement for a traditional (boring) resume/CV. I still have one of those old things, and there's a link at the end of the deck.
Sure, you can go ahead and scroll straight through to the end, but why not stop along the way and get to know me a little?
Thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

Inspired by the book Succeed: How we can reach our goal, I created this one with all of the points from a portion of Chapter 2 and shared it here. It's worth to spread this out for what the author suggested about incremental theory.
This is to introduce the strength-based principle to maximize your contribution, your success. The same strength-based principle is also effective in leading and managing people as well.
This is what I have talked in the 1st KMS Manager Meetup last weekend. I hope whoever pursuing management career path would find it useful and applicable to be more successful at work.

I believe the ultimate goal of any one of us is happiness pursuit. However, we usually lost that goal once we live through our lives. A happy life is quite simple, yet need a lot of courage, discipline, wisdom to "attain" that happy life. By sharing my thoughts here, I hope it can help you to live a happier life. Good luck!
Oops... forgot to mention that there are too many laws of nature that certainly we can't learn all. The most important one for happiness is how our mind is working. Focusing on the right one matters.
I came out and share to the public about this topic and I’m willing to do more of it. If you’re interested in having me coming in (your office, your group, …) and share, we certainly can talk and arrange.

Mathieu Ricard.
I got these 5 stories a few years ago from my bro (Chuck Lopez). Found them interesting and useful. So, I entered them into slides and included with some of my notes and shared with everyone here. Hope it helps.

6. Yes, GO OUT. Meet people you don’t know.
Start with one networking event per month.
7.
8. Be open.
• Respect that people
are different (very)
• And one pretty sure
thing is that we
don't know a lot of
things in this world
• If you are open and
you listen, you will
learn a lot
• Listening shows
respects to the
newly-met people as
well
9. Smile and warm handshake
• Smiling always works.
Give your best one
smiles.
• Learn how to do
handshakes the right way.
• Ultimately, the goal is to
create a warm feeling
once people first talk to
you.
10. What can YOU help the newly met
person(s)?
• That is the most famous
question to ask yourself
during the networking
session.
• The easiest way for people
to get to know you is to ...
volunteer doing things the
first hand, unconditionally.
• Giving and contributing is
always the great key to
open the gate to people's
minds.
12. • It is hard to remember more than 5.
• The purpose of networking is to get to
know people and have the commitment
to follow up.
• And 5 seems a lot already.
• Also remember that ultimately, it's not
the number of people you know, it's the
number of great people you know.
13. Follow up via email, social network
(LinkedIn recommeded)
