2. Websites in US
Smugmug.com: for my son’s high school water polo team to
share photos.
Shutterfly.com: for my son’s water polo club to post schedules,
sign up for volunteering jobs and share photos.
Google+: for me to share photos with my US friends.
Facebook.com: for my family and friends to share photos,
interest stuff, etc.
3. qq.Com in China
This is a very popular Chinese social media website. I share my
life, articles, photos, videos and other interesting stuff with my
friends in China.
It also has audio and video communication gadget, similar to
skype, and used by billions of Chinese people day and night.
4. Which one do I like?
qq.com is my top choice, because:
It has radio, audio, and video services, similar to iTunes
It has a lot of tools to use, especially Chinese input tools.
It is a good group online games platform that can be shared among
friends.
It is connected with WeChat, the popular audio, video communication
tools, similar as Skype, but faster and better quality.
Most important, it is not blocked by Chinese government!
Facebook: too many ads, and my high school kid says it’s dying.
Google+: is OK but it is blocked by Chinese government.
Smugmug and Shutterfly: functions very limited.
Other good websites that I don’t know?
