Do you know what one of the most important structures to mankind history is? The Colosseum. The
importance of the Colosseum, otherwise known originally as the Flavian Amphitheatre, was that
many of the materials, styles, and architecture were inspiring to many architects and designers
constructing today s modern facilities and structures.
The emperor of Rome at the time, Vespasian, began building the Colosseum (Flavian
Amphitheatre) in 72 AD. They believed that in ancient Rome the patron was more noble and
loyal than the architects, and the architects were just craftsmen and hired hands (Woog, 2014).
So as of today the designers and architects are unknown to the world, and will probably never be

Security officers enter the room to see the boss standing over the narrators bruised and bloodied

fight club. In this strange instance, the narrator lets out both his dominant and submissive side at
the same. He lets out his dominant side by inflicting harm, but at the same time he is being
submissive because he is also the one receiving harm. By doing this, the narrator achieved his goal
of not being fired, and even received an added bonus, albeit through a very unorthodox method.
Arguably, this same concept can be seen at the end of the movie. Despite all the negative things that
had happened to Tyler and the narrator throughout the course of the film, they both got what they
wanted in the end. Tyler collapses all the bank buildings, and makes the narrator more like him. The
narrator destroys Tyler, and becomes a powerful, strong willed man. The union between the two
sides began when the narrator put his gun up to his mouth. Throughout the whole movie, Tyler did
whatever he wanted to the narrator, and the narrator was powerless to stop it. The narrator putting
the gun to his mouth represents the first time that the narrator has control over Tyler. By
