SNEHOPAGA KARMA OF VIDARI
▪ Ayurveda explains it as Snehopaga here' sneha' means 'oleation'
and 'upaga' means which is' helpful’ . The drugs helpful for this
purpose are called Snehopaga drugs. In true sense they increase
the action of the oleation
▪ A substance that produces greasiness, fluidity, moisture and
softness in the body is called snehan. These dravyas are guru
snigdha, pichilla, sheetal,manda, mridu, drava, sara, Sukshma, in
guna (properties) .
