3. INTRODUCTION
The system of any sensor consists of, a stimulus, then
a processor, then an output device, which in the end
will give us a response.
we also learned that there are five different types of
stimulus which are, thermal, mechanical, chemical,
magnetic/ electrical and electromagnetic.

4. ACTIVITIES
ity 1 : evading motion detection.
Activity 3 : Making microphones .
This activity to us came rather odd, we had to
make a microphone using only 2 wires, a
speaker & PVDF files. we found it extremely
pointless until we had to do it ourselves, not
much to say, we were surprised.

• in this activity we got introduced to
the different types of sensors, we used
these objects that we can easily find at
home and tested what type of things it
had sensed
Activity 1 : evading motion detection.
During our first activity in the
workshop, we got introduced to a
motion detector, and how it can detect
motion by sensing and detecting
thermal body movement.

5. ACTIVITIES
Activity 4 : exploring the piezo effect In
our fourth activity, we made the
polymeric structure of the PVDF, it
helped us to get to know how the
PVDF is structured in parallel lines.
•Design project: Making a coin counter
In our final activity, we became engineers and
fashioned ourselves a rather lovely coin counter!
using a PVDF file, some coins, a ruler and our
computers ! it was a fun activity and we were happy
that it was our last !
•Activity 5 : testing the PVDF
in this activity we tested out how the
PVDF can identify the weight of the
object dropped on it.

HOW IT WORKS
Our bracelet will contain a security SOS button, that will send
wireless signals to the computers connected with it, which will
then appear as a notification on the software that will be made,
signalizing that there is an SOS in the seat ex:24G, it will appear
as a red seat to identify it from the other seats which will appear
blue. Using the the indoor positioning system and the GPS
tracker we placed in the bracelet, the security guard will be able
to find the person in distress and help them.

THE DESIGN
The bracelet will be made of silicone, inside of it will be the
processor and the LED lights, the outer layer of the bracelet
will correspond with the same specially made design for the
football that is going to be used for the world cup matches.
There will also be two SOS buttons, the SOS security guard
button will be RED, and the SOS ambulance button will be
BLUE.

METHODS AND MATERIALS
The materials we used in our product are :an indoor
positioning system, buttons, LED lights, camera &
a safety locking sensor.

Did our product solve the problems we designed it to solve? we’ll leave
this answer for time to show us.
we hope that our product helps security guards jobs and and that it helps
decrease the chances of riots and emergencies and arrange events that
house thousands of visitors, such as Darb Alsai.
we also hope that it will help children, people with medical emergencies
and especially women.

➤ we assumed that if the AL-Asas bracelet was applied in
Qatar, it will make the security guards and ambulances
job easier and decrease the chanced of crowd riots,
fights and medical emergencies would be easier to get
to and help.

14. AL-ASAS { ‫ا‬‫ﻟ‬‫ﻌ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﺲ‬ } BRACELET RECOMMENDATIONS
We recommend using the Al-Asas bracelet for events
that house more the 5,000 people, concerts and
more.We totally advice for more investigation to be
put into this product for there is always room for
improvement.
1- an application specially made for the bracelet.
2- For the tickets to have a QR code, that contains the
buyers information.

15. CONCLUSIONS
In the end, we can say that we had a fun time during the albairaq
workshops, we learned a lot and learned about the different
types of sensors, stimulus, and responses
We learned that the PVDF translates sound waves to electric
energy, and that its made of parallel polymeric chains.
We learned that we have sensors everywhere, they are always
around us even if we don't notice them.
