SMART Boards in the Classroom allow teachers to control their computer from an interactive whiteboard screen by touching it with their finger or an electronic pen. They can drag and drop images or text, write and annotate on the large touch screen, and interact with educational multimedia activities. SMART Boards work with any program on the connected computer, and commonly used software includes Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and AutoCAD.
