Introduction
•SMAC (social, mobile, analytics and cloud) is the concept that four
technologies are currently driving innovation in business.
•SMAC creates an ecosystem that allows a business to improve its
operations and get closer to the customer with minimal overhead and
maximum reach.

generated over mobile devices and
social media and analyze these data

Mobile banking has emerged as one of the most innovative products in the financial services
industry.
Shoppers are increasingly using their mobile devices for comparing to buy products.
ANALYTICS:
Big data analytic in cloud: HADOOP, a framework and set of tools for processing very
large data sets.
SQL on Hadoop: Faster, better: Tools that support SQL-like querying let business users
who already understand SQL apply similar techniques to that data.
Predictive analytics
CLOUD:
A network of remote servers hosted on the Internet to store, manage, and process data
Hybrid clouds: Hybrid clouds feature an infrastructure that combines private cloud
security with cost-effective, powerful and scalable public cloud attributes.
The trends which I expect that it would make a big impact in the next five years
is “BIG DATAANALYTICS” because Every year, companies and individuals
generate billions of gigabytes of data. So the Data, which is properly analyzed
and used in time, can emerge as an unbeatable competitive trend in future.
Interest Area
ANALYTICS:
 Data is the heart of business analytics which is having a great scope in the
near future.
 This is what companies rely upon for their competitive advantage
 It’s becoming more important as technology and analytical tools are now
available from hardware to software.
As a part of my curriculum I am trained to work on SAS (software suite)
used for performing statistical analysis.
So if I’m being provided an internship to work on real time data, I would
utilize my analytical skills to work on the same and get experience out of it.
