Slovakia is a landlocked country in Central Europe with a population of over 5.3 million. It has borders with 5 countries and its capital and largest city is Bratislava. Some of Slovakia's natural attractions include the Demänovska Ice Cave, the longest ice cave in the world, and there are many castles throughout the country such as the Kapušiansky Castle. Slovakia was formed in 1993 and has a long history of being settled by Celts, Romans, Slavs and as part of the Hungarian Empire.
