Slovakia is a landlocked country in Central Europe with a population of over 5.3 million. It has borders with 5 countries and its capital and largest city is Bratislava. Some of Slovakia's natural attractions include the Demänovska Ice Cave, the longest ice cave in the world, and there are many castles throughout the country such as the Kapušiansky Castle. Slovakia was formed in 1993 and has a long history of being settled by Celts, Romans, Slavs and as part of the Hungarian Empire.

2.  Slovakia is a small country in the Central Europe. There
isn’t any sea. There are mountains, but there are lowlands,
too. The area of Slovakia is 49 035km. There live about
5milion 500 thousand people. The currency is euro. There
is only one true language, it’s Slovak language. It has five
neighbours: in the north it has a border with Poland, in the
east it has a border with Ukraine, in the south Slovakia has
border with Hungary and in the west Slovakia has a border
with Austria and with Czech Republic.
The capital city of Slovakia is Bratislava and approximately
450 000 (four hundred and fifty thousand) inhabitants live
in this historical town. Slovakia is populated by more than
5.3 million inhabitants.

3.  One of national nature monument is The Demänovska Ice
cave. It’s situated in Demänovska valley in Short Tatras. It’s
1750m long. Ice is only in down parts of cave. People found
the bones of cave bear there. People found this cave in
about 1710. There are many other caves in Slovakia. For
example Domica cave, Gombasecka cave, Belianska cave...
On the world are only two caves like Ochtinska Aragonit
cave. There are in Mexico, Argentine and in Slovakia. It’s
vary nice.
 In Slovakia there are many castles. Near Presov are
Kapušiansky castle and Šarišsky castle. Kapušiansky castle
is important castle. It was built in 13century, on Zámočisko.
Under it is village Kapušany. In 1715 Prešov capture it and
next it start to beruin

8.  The first objects in this territory were built by the
Celts, later the Romans came to the Danube (Gerulata-
Rusovce). The Slavs started to settle this territory in
the 5th century and the Great Moravian Empire was
established in the 9th century. The 14th and 15th
centuries were a time of the development of the royal
and mining cities (Banská Štiavnica, Kremnica, Banská
Bystrica, Gelnica). Slovakia was the political, cultural a
economic centre of the Hungarian Empire for three
centuries (the 16th – 18th ). The Slovak Republic was
constituted as an independent country on 1 January
1993.
