of trade and at that time the heartbeat
of the city moved from the Castle to the
Town Hall and the surrounding area. Out
of the three remaining town halls in
Lithuania, Kaunas has the most luxurious
one.
 Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and
Paul is the biggest gothic-style chutch in
Lithuania.
