Nitra is the fourth largest city in Slovakia, located in the valley of the Nitra River at the foot of Zobor Mountain. It is one of the oldest cities in Slovakia, first mentioned in 826, and has a wealth of historic structures like Nitra Castle and the old town, as well as natural beauty surrounding it including views of the city from Zobor Hill. The Nitra River also flows through the city.
