WHAT GENDER ARE YOU?
We put this question in our
questionnaire to find out who
our target audience was.
From my results the gender
was quite equal as 30 were
female and 27 were male.
This tells me that there is
both a male and female
audience. However, there is
more of a female audience.

The people that answered my
questionnaire was ages 14 – 27.
However, the age groups that made up
the majority of the people were aged
17 – 23. Also, as horror films usually
have an age restriction, so will mine as
not many people under the age of 17
answered the survey.

At the beginning of a film at
the cinema, there is usually
around 15 – 20 minutes of
trailers played. From the
graph, I know that there will
be a large group of people
that will see my trailer and
decide whether they want to
watch it.

This results of this question were quite interesting as the weapon that was picked most
for the most scariest slasher film weapon was a screwdriver and the weapon that was
picked most for the least scariest slasher film weapon was also a screwdriver. Therefore,
there is very mixed opinions from my target audience. However, the second most scariest
weapon was a machete and the second least scariest weapon was a knife.

Krueger. This lets me know that the appearance of this villain is most scariest to my
audience so that I can use for inspiration when choosing my villain for my trailer.
The villain that was picked most for the least scariest slasher film villain was Chucky.

The majority of our target
audience are scared of death the
most. As this is what scares my
audience the most and my
audience enjoys watching
slasher films that makes them
scared, I will use this in my
trailer. Death is also very
conventional theme for slasher
films which will help my trailer
be conventional and
recognisable as a slasher.
