2. QUESTION ONE – WHAT

I had 10 questions on my survey and 10
sheets to complete, so I gave 5 of the
sheets to a female audience and the other
5 to a male audience. This was so that I
can know how much each of the gender
likes the thriller movies and how much
each thriller movie idea is targeted to each
gender.

3. QUESTION TWO – HOW
OLD ARE YOU?
Results for Question Two
16 to 24 25 to 40 41+
For this part of the questionnaire I got
more 16 to 24 year olds than I got 25 to
40 year olds but I got no 41+ year olds. I
got no 41+ year olds because they said
they were not interested or have no
opinion in thriller movies. This shows that
not much 41+ year olds will want to watch
thriller movies. This may be because
thriller movies are exciting and
suspenseful. It came to an advantage that
most 16 to 40 year olds answered my
questionnaire because they are within our
target audience for our thriller movie.

4. QUESTION THREE – DO YOU
LIKE THRILLER MOVIES?

From the questionnaire, seven people said
that they like thriller movies and three
peoples said that do not. From those three
one was female and two was male. In
addition two were aged 25 to 40 and one
aged 16 to 24. this gave me confidence in
my thriller movie because it meant that
the majority of our target audience likes
the thriller movie genre.

5. QUESTION FOUR – WHICH
THRILLER MOVIE IDEA DID
YOU LIKE BEST?
From the questionnaire, 10% of the
audience said they like Thriller Movie Idea
#1, 30% of the audience said they like
Thriller Movie Idea #2 and 60% of the
audience said they like Thriller Movie Idea
#3. Because of this feedback I have learnt
that a unique (non-typical) and interesting
characters are more appealing to my type
of target audience. This survey results are
great as that is the thriller movie idea that
I have chosen as my final thriller movie
idea.

6. QUESTION FIVE – WHY DO
YOU LIKE THIS THRILLER
MOVIE IDEA BEST?
From the comment on the different thriller
movie ideas I can conclude that the
majority of the audience liked thriller
movie idea #3 because (to sum up) the
characters and plot has more thought.,
therefore making it a interesting thriller
movies that people would watch at the
cinema. In addition the response I got
from the other thriller movie ideas are
similar to the responses I got for thriller
movie idea #3 or included. For example,
the comment “the secrets” that is also
included in the 3rd thriller movie idea as
well as the others.

YOUR FAVOURITE THRILLER
GENRE?
I got a range of different opinions on this
question because people have different
most preferred thriller type movies. So for
my final thriller movie idea, I wanted to
chose an idea that was most popular.
From this question, action thriller was
most liked, followed by psychological
thriller and then crime thriller. I decided
not to go for an action thriller as you will
need many stunts and equipment, so I
decided to focus on crime and
psychological thriller and I think thriller
movie idea #3 which is my final thriller
movie idea has them because of the

8. QUESTION SEVEN – WHAT IS
YOUR FAVOURITE THRILLER
MOVIE AND WHY?
The answers I got from this question relate
to the answers I got from the previous
question because all of these movie are
either psychological thrillers, action
thrillers or crime thrillers. In addition
Shutter Island was the movie that gave us
the idea of our thriller our idea. From the
reason why these movie was the
audience’s favourite varied but nearly all
related to the plot and characters
therefore implying them to be the most
important aspect of a thriller movie.

SCALE FROM 0-10, HOW
WOULD YOU RATE EACH
THRILLER MOVIE IDEA?
From this questionnaire, I can see that
thriller movie idea #3 was most like
because it is the only idea that scored a 10
and got nothing below a 5. The table can
clearly show me the difference in the
thriller movie idea response. thriller movie
idea one may not have got as many likes
because there are 5 characters, therefore
making it harder for their personality to
show and the audience to feel sympathy
for them. And thriller movie idea #2 may
not as got as many likes because it is the
typical story of a group of girls being in
trouble and not unique.

10. QUESTION NINE – WHICH KEY
COMPONENT IS MOST
IMPORTANT IN THRILLER
MOVIES?
From the questionnaire, the audience
thought that the plot is the most
important component of a thriller movie.
This may be because this will be the thing
that we grip the audience in to carry on
watching the movie. The characters and
music both got the same result. The
characters are an important component
because the audience will have to feel
sympathy towards them so the audience
would want them to survive throughout
the movie. the music is another important
component this is the thing that would
build the suspense for the thriller movie.

For this question there was not many
