2. From these results it has helped us decide many important choices we had to make when
planning for our film opening. It helped us decide on the most suitable title from our ideas,
the favourite being ‘Sinister Within’ as well as conventions our audience will expect to see in
the opening (antagonist, protagonist, building of tension and creepy music). Our research
also helped us confirm the best locations to use, with the woods being the most recognized
as a thriller/horror location. By looking at these results, we will be planning our filmto
match these expectations as much as we can rather than challenging stereotypes in the
hopes it will create a successful filmopening.
