Ski Persuasive Speech
Imagine you are gliding over sparkling water with a small gust of wind blowing over your wet body.
PLOP! Wait you don't know how to water ski? Let's fix this I'll teach you personally how to water
ski so you will have few troubles. I promise you if you follow these steps you will be able to have a
blast while getting your exercising in.
One of the most important steps is to get the right equipment. You need to go to a place for water
sports to get the best type. One of the main necessities you need is a boat I recommend a ski boat
because it will have more force to help pull you up on ski's. You also need water ski's I got my pair
of water ski's from bill's marina up near deep creek lake. The ski type I have are the Connelly
Voyage 88 Skis w/slide Adj. 61150313. I recommend these skis, because they allow you to adjust
the bindings to fit multiple size feet. Theses ski's also come with a cross bar which is very helpful if
you're not up for doing to splits. Lastly if you have advanced users on ski's or you are trying to learn
how to salom you can with these sik's. The next equipment item is a tow rope. This tow rope needs
to be around around 70–75 feet. The rope should include a handle with a comfortable gripping.
Lastly you must by law have a life jacket, not one of those orange one that they give you at a boat
rental you need a ski jackets. These look like vest that buckle up and can be tightened. If you are
still not sure about the right sizing for the equipment

The Discovery Process Of Fingerprint Identification...
In this report, I will introduce the discovery process of fingerprint identification technology at first,
and then talk about its impact on the detection of cases. Introduce some basic information about
Information technology. Additionally, discuss the technology 's influence of IT industry with the
development of fingerprint identification technology, such as Apple Company. After the discussion,
I will analyze the application of fingerprint identification technology, and what impact this
technology will have in the future. Moreover, analyzing how this technology influences IT industry
with Porter 's 5 Forces Model. Finally, analyze advantages and disadvantages of Apple Company
(IPhone) through the use of fingerprint identification technology.
Information technology (IT) is the application of computers and telecommunications equipment to
store, retrieve, transmit and manipulate data. (Daintith, John, ed. (2009), "IT", A Dictionary of
Physics, Oxford University Press, retrieved 1 August 2012). IT consists of three parts, first is
sensing technology, and the most obvious example is a bar code reader; second is communication
technology which bear transfer function information, and last is computer technology, and it
commitment to information processing functions. IT industry has a great impact on human life, such
as mobile phones, laptops, and other electronic products, which are an important part of daily life,
are products of IT industry. Not only that, IT industry also

My Experience In College
Throughout the semester, I have grown tremendously. Coming into this semester, I was nervous, but
excited for college. I had expectations of how it would go, and nothing went how I planned. I had to
grow up and realize I was on my own now. Everything was up to me; I can decide my bed time, I
can decide to go to class, and I can decide what to make of my time here. Time management has
been the biggest adjustment in college. Last year, I took 7 courses, two of those AP level, worked 30
hours a week, and still managed to have time for an hour gym session every day. In college,
however, I struggled to have the motivation to even go to my 10 a.m. classes. Reality hit after the
first week, and I realized I needed to stay focused and motivated to stay on track with my class
work. I also struggled with the fact that I was away from my family. As much as I hate to admit it,
not seeing my mom every day has been a very difficult adjustment here. I luckily have been able to
go home a couple times, and I have my best friend here on campus with me. Yet, being away from
home is also a very good lesson and experience to go through. You grow in your confidence, in your
time management, and you become a stronger person overall. I believe I have gone through this
already in my first semester, and I am excited to see how much more I can grow in the next couple
years. The Zeller & Moiser W–Curve theory of student development applies to my experience so far
in college. In this theory, there

Why I Shouldn 't Get Back Into The Apartment Essay
I wake with a tap against one of my boots. Dim streaks of light, grey and increasing, are filtering
through a nearby door. How did I get back into the apartment? For a moment I stare at the ceiling
trying to remember what happened last night, then everything comes rushing back. My headache
and how Avery found me.
I take a deep breath as I remember what had happened between Avery and me in the alley. I
shouldn't have done it. I shouldn't have touched her the way I did last night. And I shouldn't be
happy she touched me back the way she had. But am I. I close my eyes, as I again feel the tingle of
her fingers as she'd brushed them against my arm. I can't believe I'd kept myself from kissing her,
I'd wanted to, that had been for sure. I groan this is no way for a soldier to act.
Something thumps against my boot, and I sit up, ignoring the dull ache behind my forehead. i'm not
the only one in the room. Sitting across from me is Adam, Avery's friend, and one of his hands are
full of small rocks. I glance down at my feet, to find rocks scattered around them.
I look back at him my eyes narrowed.
Adam stare at me, whistling as he drops the remaining rocks on the ground beside him. It's hard to
believe that I could want to hurt who had been so sick just a short time ago, but I do.
"Nice collection you have there," he says.
"Did I do something to you that I'm unaware of?" I demand. I sink my fingers into the ground at my
sides and squeeze the dirt. "I don't know if you realize

Handshake Essay
The handshake
The handshake has grow to be a common shape of conversation all around the world. it is used to
say "whats up", "good–bye", "we agree", as a greeting upon first acquaintance, and as a mutual
signal of goodwill and peace. A handshake can set up a first impact with a person, whether it be
suitable and company, or limp and clammy. It has made its way to the very best degrees of
presidency and society in which agreements between international locations are sealed. This ritual
has "come to be perhaps our most important non–verbal communicative contrivance.
however wherein did it come from?
there are many conflicting reviews of the feasible supply of the not unusual handshake gesture. a

The limp shake.
This handshake gives the impression that you're shy, uninterested or lack self–confidence. Apply
moderate pressure when shaking someone's hand. When in doubt, try to mirror the other person's
grip.
2. The wet shake.
The single most efficient way to make a very bad first impression is offering a cold, wet handshake.
Always hold your beverage in your left hand and keep your right hand free for handshaking,
especially during networking events.
3. The terminator shake.
This painful handshake can be an instant turn off. Crushing someone's fingers or twisting your wrist
so that your hand is on top is a sign of dominance. Your grip should be no harder than what you
would use to turn a door handle.
4. The pump handle shake.
There's no need to grab someone's hand and repeadedly pump it up and down. Send your hand in for
the shake, pump one or two times, hold for a second, then release.
5. The lookaway shake.
If you've ever shaken hands with someone who's looking around the room for their next
introduction, you've experienced the lookaway shake. Never let your eyes wander, no matter how
tempting the distraction. Make the all–in connection between eyes and hands.

Failure In The Outliers, Gladwell's 'The Outliers'
Mistake; to make a wrong judgment, an action or decision that is wrong or produces a result that is
not correct or not intended. When we were young our parents always told us, "it takes a big person
to admit their mistakes". Contrary to this popular statement, what if you never actually made a
mistake in the first place and fate was at fault for your failure? In his novel "The Outliers", Gladwell
claims that "if you work hard enough and assert yourself, and use your mind and imagination, you
can shape the world to your desires" (Gladwell 151). However, I disagree with this statement
because success is rare and no matter how hard you work, you may never change the world around
you. No matter how hard you work, there will be people that drag you down, circumstances you
face, obstacles that stand in your way, and a world that will refuse to change for you.
Chapter four delves more deeply into the rather tragic life of Chris Langan. He grew up very poor;
his father was an alcoholic and for the most part absent. He was a highly gifted student and ended
up receiving a full scholarship to Reed University. He found the adjustment very difficult, due to the
fact that the teachers had little to no involvement or interest in their students. The odds were stacked
against him despite his hard work and commitment to his education. Through numerous setbacks, he
maintained his rigorous academic passion and excelled at calculus. Nonetheless, the teachers and
school system refused to notice

A Short Story : A Story?
Twirling her keys around her pointer finger, a tall, dark–skinned girl had placed her hand on a glass
door and slotted her keys into their keyhole and locked it, then tucked them back into her jean
pocket. She tucked a strand of curly hair that had fallen out of it's ponytail behind her ear as she
turned the sign from open to closed. Turning around, she leaned her back against the shop windows,
peered at the rows of flower arrangements along the walls, and sighed. Vivian pulled her apron over
her head and hung it back on the tacky, rusted, flower hooks on the wall, then pulled her rolled up
sleeves down to her freckled wrists. Just another day, she guessed. "Closing up shop?" Her eyes
darted up quickly at the noise, and she saw her father leaning against the greenhouse door that she
had just locked. Nodding, she pulled the ponytail holder out of her thick hair, letting it fall back
down to her shoulders. "Mhm, we're almost out of potting soil. Can you go pick some up?" With
pleading eyes she stared at him, and he grunted as he made his way to the cash register. "Can't
tonight, sorry Viv," He looked up and knocked on his knees. "Been kinda hard moving around
today." Vivian nodded and pulled a denim jacket off of the hooks, then slipped it on over her striped
shirt. "Fine. There's some green tea in the kitchen if you want. Above the dishwasher." Her father
nodded, and Vivian saluted with two fingers as she pushed open the door and the bells jingled above
her. Shivering,

Booker Epilogue
The sensation of a moist tongue swirling around the indentation of his navel woke Booker from a
restful sleep and groaning softly, he opened his eyes to the sight of Tom's brown hair bobbing in
front of him. A lazy smile played over his lips, and he lovingly ran his fingers through the soft peaks
of his lover's mussed–up tresses. "Mmm, you should wake me up like this every morning."
Tom lifted his head, and a shy smile tilted his lips. "Do you want me to keep going?" he asked in
low, husky voice.
"Maybe," Booker replied with a flirtatious waggle of his eyebrows. "But maybe I wanna play with
you too."
Trailing a finger up the length of Booker's cock, Tom flicked out his tongue and licked his lips
suggestively. "Well, we would do that swarson ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

stretched enough to receive him, he withdrew his fingers. Tom's eyes burned bright and wrapping
his fingers around the base of Booker's shaft, he positioned the tip against his anus and bore down.
Tom's cock jutted proudly out in front of him, the tip glistening with precum and is taut thighs
trembled as he rocked his hips forward and backward with growing momentum.
"Yesss," Booker hissed as Tom lifted and lowered his body onto his cock. "Fuck, you look so hot
right now."
Placing one hand behind Booker's neck, Tom leaned back and steadied himself on the other. "Suck
me," he moaned as his hips thrust steadily back and forth.

Tom into his mouth. With his lover's hand steadying his head, he allowed him to thrust his cock

Chapter 3 Technical Back Ground
Controlling Mouse 1.1 Moving Mouse Cursor We utilized the forefinger as a cursor controller to
control mouse cursor. We utilized two distinctive methodologies for moving the mouse cursor. The
principal strategy is mapping cursor control. It implies that the pointer on a camera screen can
position maps to a desktop screen position. At the end of the day, the mouse cursor is put on the
desktop window alongside the forefinger tips position showed on the camera screen position. This
strategy has an issue. In the event that the determination of the desktop window has a higher
determination than the camera determination, then the cursor position can 't be precise in light of the
fact that when the camera determination believers to the desktop window determination we lose
middle of the road esteem. We expect the proportion of hopping pixel is up to 4 pixels. The second
strategy is weighted pace cursor control. We get a distinction of the finger of the present picture and
the past picture and process the separation between the two. Next, we move the mouse cursor if the
hole between the two finger pictures (present and past casing) is far then the mouse cursor moves
quick or, if the hole is close then the cursor moves moderate. This calculation additionally has an
issue. Since we are working with continuous picture preparing, the customer machine ought to be
quick. The picture information rate is 15 outlines for every second and we require

Wondering About My Sexuality
I had been wondering about some things in life as I was heading through my teen years and
sexuality was one of them. I was nineteen but I still wasn't sure what boat I wanted to catch yet. I
liked boys don't get me wrong but sexual activity with them just wasn't exciting and arousing.
I was catching up with my bisexual friend Shelly she was beautiful, had the most attractive body
and she told me she would help me to venture onto trying something a little different in the sexual
department. I wasn't really into the idea of becoming fleshly with a girl but that was a guessing
opinion of mine as I hadn't tried it out before.
Shelly arrived and let herself in and helped herself to some red wine I had chilling in my ice bucket.
As we sipped our wine Shelly explained the wine would help to calm my nerves for the first time.
After a few wines we started giggling together then Shelly moved in for the growl. I could feel her
coming close to me, feeling her hands on my face and I couldn't help but to go with it.
Her lips connected to mine and our tongues explored for a few moments until Shelly pulled away
and smiled, "So honey got any finger food I'm a little peckish". I went to the kitchen and opened
some savory biscuits and placed them in a bowl when I felt Shelly's arms around my waist clutching
me tightly. Her lips came close to my ear.
I felt her teeth gently gnaw into my ear as she started to slide her knee inside my thighs letting me
feel her close.
Shelly's warmth had a

Positive Effects Of Adhd In Children
Effects of ADHD ADHD is a developmental disorder of self–control. The disorder is not caused by
a failure in the parent to discipline or control their child. The disorder can also have negative effects
on the parent. Also a child can have many troubles learning and treating this disorder. ADHD can
have many effects and causes, but it is how a person copes and monitors themselves or their child.
The physical, social and cognitive consequences of this disorder reflect an impairment in the
person's ability to reflect on their own behavior. The first thing someone will notice with a person
when they have ADHD is how the act and react physically. When a person has ADHD they usually

This is where the second part comes in where socially, one is different. Little is known of ADHD in
preschool years because the child has yet to develop and learn with the disorder. Anyone with
ADHD at any age can have trouble with speech and sounding things out loud. There are three
methods that help children talk to themselves out loud. These three methods are called cognitive–
behavior modification, self–instruction and self–control programs. Some effects of ADHD that must
deal with cognition are academic failure, social isolation, depression and low self–esteem. Some
people think differently about every situation. Sometimes a child could even think the decisions they
are making are the right decision and they are not. Neuropsychological deficits in adults with
ADHD go beyond comorbidity. Specific comorbid disorders may influence the neuropsychological
functioning in adults with ADHD. Comorbidity is when someone has two chronic diseases or
conditions. Something that can go along with ADHD can be bipolar disorder which then would have
an effect of comorbidity. Cognition can be very hard to get through with ADHD. He/she can take
many medications to help, but the side effects may be worry sum. Preparing someone for transitions
can be very difficult. Many people with ADHD have a hard time thinking and preparing things for
the future. Anticipation is a huge factor in people with ADHD. Children with speech problems
should always sound their words out to help themselves through the talking process. Thinking and
learning with ADHD has its disadvantages, but it is the preparation that will help the

Essay about Foolish Child's Play
It was a long time ago when I was a child, playful and full of energy. My classmates just entered the
room after coming back from lunch recess. We were all yelling and laughing, each child was talking
to their friends as they did every day. Everyone was energetic, with no one sitting in their seats. On
a daily basis the teacher would enter the classroom and we would all quiet down, then scatter to our
seats. However, it was on this normal day that my first grade teacher came into the room who was
met by a horrific surprise. My first grade classroom was the only room that had its own private
bathrooms; one for the boys and the other for the girls. They were kept very clean and were more

Sadly for this game, I was the only one who had to put a lot of effort into getting the door open due
to my small stature. "Let me out," I demanded. All I could hear was their giggling. "Let me out! I
don't want to play this today," but they didn't listen. It was then that I felt the door become lighter as
if one of them had removed themselves from it. Finally, I was able to pry the door open –BAM!
Time had stopped. My mouth opened wide as if to scream out loud, but all I could hear was silence.
Tears rolled down my face as a sharp pain ran up my arm. The only thing I could see beyond the
open door was the distorted sight of everyone staring. I could see one of my classmates running out
of the room and returning only a few seconds later with the teacher. Blood fell onto the ground from
underneath my left hand that was grasping onto my right hand's fingers. I could see the horrified
look on my teachers face while her mouth moved. She kneeled in front of me and grabbed my right
hand. My hearing finally returned and I could hear my teacher asking "What happened"? I tried
explaining to her, but as a child who was crying, no one could understand a word I said. The teacher
looked to Jillian and Danielle who were standing against the wall with guilt written on their faces.
That day I was taken to the office where a stretcher was waiting for me and I entered an ambulance

Patiently waiting for the hand to turn into the walking man. Wavering on the sidewalk as I ponder

Operating machines filled my ears as it passed by. The intoxicated gases out of the road–roller

making me inhale the smoke resulting into vigorous coughs. Before I realized, the hand turned into

Flexor Digitorum Profundus Rupure Research Paper
Flexor Digitorum Profundus Rupture
Flexor digitorum profundus rupture, commonly called "jersey finger," is a condition in which you
are unable to bend your finger without assistance. This is caused by an injury to connective tissue
(tendon) in the last joint of your finger, farthest form your palm. The tendon tears (ruptures), which
restricts your ability to bend your finger joint.
Sometimes, when the tendon ruptures it can break off a piece of bone. This is called an avulsion
fracture.
CAUSES
This condition is commonly caused by forced straightening (extension) of a bent (flexed) finger.
When force on the tendon is too great, the tendon ruptures. Less commonly, this condition can be
caused by a cut (laceration).

What Does It Mean To Me Essay
There it is. In the tiny dim corner in the back of the room. Stuck beside an old bookbag and and a

How Did Leonardo Da Vinci Sketch Of The Vitruvian Man
Problem: The famous and old Leonardo Da Vinci sketch called,"The Vitruvian Man", is very well–
known and studied because of its ties to many of the renaissance time periods ideas. It is a sketch
showing the direct correlation of a human's height and arm span to the length and width of a square
that is congruent in area to a circle made of the man's naval cavity to fingertip the measurement. It
signified two things, that humans could fit into any form they choose whether it be a savage or a
god; or that humans were the in the middle of the universe's chain of command. This symbol has
been representing the renaissance era since because of what it has been interpreted to represented.
Knowing that there are some human body measurements that are equivalent I've decided to study
one set which are the thumb and big toe's length. There also could be a reason for some of our body
parts to be equivalent to each other; it could possibly be a physical adaptation for humans to survive
in the wild. For example the height of a human and the arm span could be equivelant to aid our
performance at certain tasks such as swimming, or gathering food from trees. The relationship
between our big toes and thumbs could aid some tasks or just our overall normal abilities.
Specifically our ability to grasp items could be ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Determination, Discipline, And Dedication
Determination, discipline, and dedication are the three keys to Doctor Sampson (Sam) Davis'
success. Growing up in the streets of Newark was not easy for any child, pre–teen, teen, and adult,
especially for Davis but with the three D's to success he speaks of in The Pact: Three Young Men
Make a Promise and Fulfill a Dream, shows that anyone can succeed when you have friends to help
you through it all. Even though Davis did not have a perfect childhood, determination, dedication
and discipline would help push him. Davis, as a child, has seen what describes a dysfunctional
family and has witnessed many traits of physical, mental, and verbal abuse between his mother and
father; "Your daddy ain't shit," and, "Your mama ain't shit" (Davis 19). In some instances, the
violence was so severe that the use of a firearm or the destruction of property occurred. Davis' father
would divorce from his mother but, attempt to be there for his children, yet the divorce still took an
emotional toll on the kids. As for Davis, he would bury his feelings, to get over the divorce. Davis
acknowledged his mother lacked an adequate education, thus, this motivated him to become well
educated. However, acquiring adult responsibilities, such as writing and making bank deposits and
reading important documents to his illiterate was a grand task for a young child. Times were getting
harder for Davis' family and lack of funds meant utilities could not be paid; his family would be
powerless. Even through

Immediately it started cuddling into her arms much to their surprise. "Thank you for rescuing him!"

"It's nothing to be worried about." Itachi reassured. "Third Hokage! I want a higher rank mission!"

Going Natural with Hair
On the bathroom counter lays a glossy magazine with a woman wearing a helmet of dark, large,
voluptuous curls. The strands of her hair mimic the architecture of a spiral staircase. The woman
smiles, smiles, and laughs, and smiles as she settles her dark hand elegantly in her sleek, black
mane. Long fingers embrace curls; curls enmesh in long fingers. Reaching up a finger, you lightly
stroke a dry, straight lock, feeling brittle ends collide clumsily into one other as they separate like
ugly tree branches. You begin to strip, and feel your heart race faster as each article of clothing
glides to the cold, tile floor soundlessly. You can do this; you will do this. You reach the shower
slowly, laying a shaky hand on the knob. You can do this and you will do this. Your chest is heaving
and your heart is pounding and your hand is shaking but you can do this. And you will do this. Your
fingers drum along the knob. The tapping is a loud thunder that matches the storm in your chest.
Twisting the knob, the shower head begins to rain. Closing your eyes, you step in.

How To Write A Story Of The Story
We arrived at the dock after a tiresome trip. The long journey has worn the wagon and with much
effort, we found a spot along the harbor to rest. Both of us joined in offloading the food, ropes, and
defenses. I looked up and saw cloudy mountains, intimidating mist expelled over brown shorelines.
Hopeful of deliverance, looking at the ships, Asha contemplated a matter.
"What about the wagon?"
"What about it?" I said.
"We can sell to someone."
"But, what will we do when we return? We can search for storage for the thing. I still have coins

Personal Narrative Essay About Diabetes
September 3rd, 2010. Quite an utterly unassuming day for most. On this day, I am eleven years old
and I have a doctor's appointment. I heaved myself out of my restful bed, and my stomach grumbled
and protested along with me. The doctors previously informed me not to eat following midnight,
and my absolute favorite meal is breakfast, so I was not too fond of this advice. Ravenous was the
only word to describe how I was feeling. After proceeding through the motions of readying myself
for the day ahead, I loaded into the car with my mother, and off we went. My mother's face was
haggard with perturbation, and her fingers gripped the steering wheel with a ferocity I had never

bounced around my brain before settling right behind my eyes, making them sting and water. What
did she mean? I thought that diabetes was what grandmothers were diagnosed with– not eleven–
year–olds who were just enrolled in middle school. The doctor could detect the denial and dubiety in
my face. She explained to me that my weight loss, extreme thirst, and overall lethargy were caused
by this diagnosis. The puzzle pieces began to click into place, but I wanted to decimate them. The
rest of the information from my doctor was directed toward my mother because I had begun to cry.
Hot, silent tears burned rivets down my face, but I just let them trickle onto the thin paper of the
table. My mother gently tugged at my arm, and she led me to our car and explained that we were on
our way to an endocrinologist. The endocrinologist would be able to better explicate all of the
technicalities associated with my diagnosis. As we drove, my tears dried on my skin, and my face

The Piano Suites Diary Rodion Shchedrin Summary
The piano suites Diary composed by Rodion Shchedrin who is one of the most well–known
contemporary composers and pianists in Russia, Shchedrin combines elements of Russian folklore
styles, baroque–inspired polyphony and pantonality techniques. The combination of compositional
techniques has created a new musical language, present in his piano compositions, fusing traditional
Western compositional techniques with Russian folk musical styles.
I used the score from the German publisher Schott Music. Diary, which is a set of seven
compositions. This work was written for pianist Anna Gourari. The first performance was in
Moscow on December 5, 2002. I found one commercial CD containing this suite, recorded by
Ekaterina Mechetina, in album "Schedrin Shakhidi", available on Spotify for reference. As
composer suggested that it is possible to perform each piece separately, and he also mentioned
attacca at each end of the movements. In this suite, Shchedrin developed a compositional technique
that reintroduced the pitches of a single motive continuously throughout one movement, with rests
as space between phrases. This piano suite, as one of the Shchedrin's influential present piano
works, features a combination of performance elements and is attractive for both concert artists and
young age students. This repertoire ranges in medium difficulty and is filled with elements of dance,
folk music, traditional and non traditional harmonies. The use of contrasting textures and

The Bracelet: A Family Heirloom
Older than anyone I know and made of a somewhat soft, orange gold. That's the first thing that
comes to mind when I think about my little bracelet. It's delicate but awkwardly large, with an
unnatural predetermined shape to it. It's an important thing not only because it's old and a family
heirloom, but also because it was something entrusted to me by my mom. A dingy, old, broken gold
bracelet. That's what anyone else would see if they saw this poor thing. Permanently open, it's
basically useless for it's intended purpose– or any purpose other than sitting there looking pretty,
really. A couple dents and scratches, with an overall dirty look to it, it's probably the most important
thing I've ever been gifted. It was a Tuesday after school when my mom decided I was old enough
to inherit the small gold thing; I was still shorter than her, and at the cusp of youth at just 11 years
old. It was heavy and large in my open hand– the longest width of it wider than my palm. She told
me it was rose gold, and I nodded my head at the term I didn't understand. Was it called that because
of the little rose on it? I had wondered. She told me it had been given to her by my great–great–
grandma in Montana when she was my age and that it was very special. I had to be careful with it
because it's old and someday I have to pass it on to my daughter. I had frowned at her, because
really, who wants kids? Without noticing the little button–release clasp on the side I slid my hand

offspring receives a specific gene, which is located in the chromosomes, from their parents, and
these genes express specific trait.(Dr Ananya Mandal, MD ,2013). These traits may be either

of groups, Autosomal and sex linked traits. Autosomal traits are known as the traits that are not
dependable of sex of the individual and are same in both females and males however; sexed linked

Difference Between Finger And Tweezers Dexterity
Finger and Tweezers Dexterity
O'Connor Finger and Tweezers Dexterity Tests:
O'Connor Finger and Tweezers dexterity was developed by Jonson O'Connor of General Electric
Company in 1920s. Research in the past has demonstrated in the existence of a number of manual
dexterities. This test measures Finger Dexterity which involves the ability to–coordinate finger
movements in performing fine manipulations. Finger dexterity tests generally require grasping,
releasing or manipulation of small objects in which the finger tips is primarily used. In the tweezerss
dexterity tests the individual holds a pair of tweezerss in his preferred hand and performs

Finger tapping Test:
The tapping rate is a psychological test given to assess the integrity of the neuromuscular system
and examine motor control. The finger tapping test has the advantage of being a relatively pure
neurologically driven motor task because the inertial and intersegment interactions are so small that
biomechanical influences on movement are reduced. Finger tapping involves three important
features: time, spatial amplitude, and frequency. Studies have reported that the average number of
taps per 10–second interval can be used to distinguish between patients with mild traumatic brain
injury and healthy controls, is slower in people one month after sustaining a mild traumatic brain
injury,]and in experienced boxers and soccer players who frequently "headed" the ball. The speed of
finger tapping has also been found to be related to severity of initial traumatic brain injury, and can
be used to help assess recovery from mild and moderate traumatic brain injuries

Designing an Exoskeleton Robotic Arm
It was believed that the decisive factor for designing a robotic arm is its inexpensiveness and
friendly interfacing with the user. Teleoperated master–slave anthropomorphic robotic arm with the
single axis revolute joints having six degree of freedom was designed [13]. The master used the
human machine interface (HMI) to operate in RTOS. The master incorporated the motion capture
devices, such as vision sensors to transform the motion into analog voltages so as to actuate the
exoskeleton robotic arm. The human machine interface comprised of GUI (Graphical User
Interface) system, an Exoskeleton Robotic Arm and a Mode selector which enabled the operator to
choose among the three modes of operation (manual, autonomous and semi–autonomous).
We humans are companionable with the amorphous environment which is the principal benefit of
advancement of Exoskeleton robots in the field of teleoperation. The 6–DOF exoskeleton enables
the robot to elevate and shift items anywhere in space. A 6–DOF exoskeleton is very analogous to
homo–sapiens in regards to no. and joints position. The limitation of this model was inadequate
precision because of the non–linearity and mechanical coupling of the joints. [13]
Nakai implemented a human interface technique using force feedback mechanism attached to the
operator's hand and named it Sensor Arm System [5]. The arm served the basis of the Master–Slave
manipulator system in Teleoperation. The arm with which he experimented had 7–DOF same as that

Descriptive Dining At Home
You finally meet a significant other and you want to impress them with an appetizing home cooked
meal. Unfortunately, your idea of fine dining at home is Raman Noodles served in a bowl and not in
the foam cup. Raman Noodles, even served in a bowl, will not impress any date. Now picture
yourself sharing a warm, freshly crafted pizza. A pizza with fried chicken smothered with provolone
cheese. A pizza with a pop of flavor provided by bell peppers. A pizza seamlessly put together with
ranch dressing. This simple recipe for chicken ranch pizza will make you resistible to any date. To
complete the following recipe, you will need one boneless chicken breast (an ideal size for the
chicken breast is the size of your hand), soy sauce, lemon juice, a bell pepper, shredded provolone
cheese, salt, Cayenne pepper, flour, olive oil, one large egg, and one frozen cheese pizza (preferably
Di Giorno rising crust). First you need to prep the chicken breast. If your chicken breast is frozen,
let your chicken breast thaw. To speed up the thawing process, you may use a microwave. However,
set the microwave to defrost mode before thawing your chicken, which will prevent the chicken
from drying out and will keep the chicken moist. Thaw the chicken, on defrost mode, for
approximately five to six minutes. After thawing the chicken, take a sharp knife and make a
horizontal cut across the middle of the breast. Always act carefully when working knives.
Remember to keep the blade down and always cut away from yourself. Cut the chicken into long
strips with roughly one–quarter inch of thickness. Reducing the thickness of the breast will reduce
the amount of time needed to cook the chicken fully. Now make a vertical cut every half inch to
both strips of chicken. The chicken pieces should resemble the size and shape of your middle and
ring finger combined. After cutting the chicken, wash hands thoroughly with warm water and soap.
Always wash your hands after touching raw meat to prevent cross commination. Do not touch any
other ingredient before washing your hands.
Next you need to assemble the marinade for the chicken. Start with a deep dish baking pan and add
one and half cups of soy sauce or until the bottom of the pan is

The Lungs: A Narrative Fiction
His soul floats in a space unknown to him. His body is curled like a ball. He sleeps with his knees to
his face and arms wrapped around his legs. He's unaware of his situation and continues to glide
comfortably in the space that surrounds him.
Then in an instant, his eyes open.
He finds himself submerged under frigid water. Without moving, his eyes scan the area. To his
surprise, he finds nothing in sight. He stretches out his limbs and begins looking around. He is
confused and stunned by the scene. The water, vividly clear blue, motionless and breathtaking host
him and him alone. Not a fish, plant or rock in sight.
Panic erupts inside of him. His need to breathe fuels his desperation. His body acts on its owns out
of fear and he immediately ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
'No fucking way...'
A small chuckle escapes my lips.
'I'm dreaming. I must be dreaming.'
I chew on my finger and watch it heal itself again, causing my chuckling to stop. "I'm definitely not
dreaming," I mumble.
I test this out for hours on different parts of my body before I could accept the truth. My legs, arms,
feet and fingers all healed themselves. No scabs or scars were visible afterward. The last test for me
was my neck. I use my nails and claw at my neck. I scratch, peel and dig into the skin of my neck
till the pain becomes unbearable, then claw at it again. Blood rains through my fingers, down my
arms then on to the floor. My scream fills the room as if I were being tortured. I stop after it
becomes extremely hard to breathe then wait.
I watch the blood on the floor dry then disappear. My breathing normalizes and the pain stops. I
touch my neck to discover that it completely healed.
''How is this possible?'
I sit contently on the floor staring off into the wall in front of me for hours in disbelief. After a
while, it becomes difficult to keep eyes my eyes open. I yawn softly then drift off to sleep.

Personal Narrative: Booked Solid
Using the word never is a dangerous thing. It congers up the spirits of all things possible to confront
the spirits of absolutes, who think they rule the world. If you think about the times you have said an
emphatic "Never," it actually comes to pass when least expected. A common never, that easily slips
off the tongue is, "Things can never get worse than they are now." Those words are a direct
challenge to the fates, distant relatives of the spirts, and equally challenged by absolutes. Not only
can things get worse, they usually do if denial is the attitude of the day. I was having just such a day,
on a Saturday in November of 1996. I was sitting at the counter of my book store, "Booked Solid."
It was the culmination of my dreams and my place of joy. I had opened up the store, arranged my
seasonal bulletin board, and brewed fresh coffee and tea for any customer who wanted a warm drink
while browsing through the 15,000 books the store offered. I had a sense of elation and anticipation,
a common state of mind when I was alone with my thoughts and the beauty of my store. To some it
might have seemed a modest if not simple 900 square– foot space, but to me it represented my
independence and achievement against the barriers of working full time as a nurse, the lack of
husband support, and raising three demanding boys. It was my haven. 1. ... Show more content on

The bell rang as two little girls entered. They went immediately to the animal bookmarks and began
to chatter about which adorable creature each wanted. Finally, they reached a decision and asked the

Ski Persuasive Speech

  • 1. Ski Persuasive Speech Imagine you are gliding over sparkling water with a small gust of wind blowing over your wet body. PLOP! Wait you don't know how to water ski? Let's fix this I'll teach you personally how to water ski so you will have few troubles. I promise you if you follow these steps you will be able to have a blast while getting your exercising in. One of the most important steps is to get the right equipment. You need to go to a place for water sports to get the best type. One of the main necessities you need is a boat I recommend a ski boat because it will have more force to help pull you up on ski's. You also need water ski's I got my pair of water ski's from bill's marina up near deep creek lake. The ski type I have are the Connelly Voyage 88 Skis w/slide Adj. 61150313. I recommend these skis, because they allow you to adjust the bindings to fit multiple size feet. Theses ski's also come with a cross bar which is very helpful if you're not up for doing to splits. Lastly if you have advanced users on ski's or you are trying to learn how to salom you can with these sik's. The next equipment item is a tow rope. This tow rope needs to be around around 70–75 feet. The rope should include a handle with a comfortable gripping. Lastly you must by law have a life jacket, not one of those orange one that they give you at a boat rental you need a ski jackets. These look like vest that buckle up and can be tightened. If you are still not sure about the right sizing for the equipment ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 3. My Experience In College Throughout the semester, I have grown tremendously. Coming into this semester, I was nervous, but excited for college. I had expectations of how it would go, and nothing went how I planned. I had to grow up and realize I was on my own now. Everything was up to me; I can decide my bed time, I can decide to go to class, and I can decide what to make of my time here. Time management has been the biggest adjustment in college. Last year, I took 7 courses, two of those AP level, worked 30 hours a week, and still managed to have time for an hour gym session every day. In college, however, I struggled to have the motivation to even go to my 10 a.m. classes. Reality hit after the first week, and I realized I needed to stay focused and motivated to stay on track with my class work. I also struggled with the fact that I was away from my family. As much as I hate to admit it, not seeing my mom every day has been a very difficult adjustment here. I luckily have been able to go home a couple times, and I have my best friend here on campus with me. Yet, being away from home is also a very good lesson and experience to go through. You grow in your confidence, in your time management, and you become a stronger person overall. I believe I have gone through this already in my first semester, and I am excited to see how much more I can grow in the next couple years. The Zeller & Moiser W–Curve theory of student development applies to my experience so far in college. In this theory, there ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Why I Shouldn 't Get Back Into The Apartment Essay I wake with a tap against one of my boots. Dim streaks of light, grey and increasing, are filtering through a nearby door. How did I get back into the apartment? For a moment I stare at the ceiling trying to remember what happened last night, then everything comes rushing back. My headache and how Avery found me. I take a deep breath as I remember what had happened between Avery and me in the alley. I shouldn't have done it. I shouldn't have touched her the way I did last night. And I shouldn't be happy she touched me back the way she had. But am I. I close my eyes, as I again feel the tingle of her fingers as she'd brushed them against my arm. I can't believe I'd kept myself from kissing her, I'd wanted to, that had been for sure. I groan this is no way for a soldier to act. Something thumps against my boot, and I sit up, ignoring the dull ache behind my forehead. i'm not the only one in the room. Sitting across from me is Adam, Avery's friend, and one of his hands are full of small rocks. I glance down at my feet, to find rocks scattered around them. I look back at him my eyes narrowed. Adam stare at me, whistling as he drops the remaining rocks on the ground beside him. It's hard to believe that I could want to hurt who had been so sick just a short time ago, but I do. "Nice collection you have there," he says. "Did I do something to you that I'm unaware of?" I demand. I sink my fingers into the ground at my sides and squeeze the dirt. • 5. Handshake Essay The handshake The handshake has grow to be a common shape of conversation all around the world. it is used to say "whats up", "good–bye", "we agree", as a greeting upon first acquaintance, and as a mutual signal of goodwill and peace. A handshake can set up a first impact with a person, whether it be suitable and company, or limp and clammy. It has made its way to the very best degrees of presidency and society in which agreements between international locations are sealed. This ritual has "come to be perhaps our most important non–verbal communicative contrivance. however wherein did it come from? there are many conflicting reviews of the feasible supply of the not unusual handshake gesture. a few say that it originated in medieval instances ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The limp shake. This handshake gives the impression that you're shy, uninterested or lack self–confidence. Apply moderate pressure when shaking someone's hand. When in doubt, try to mirror the other person's grip. 2. The wet shake. The single most efficient way to make a very bad first impression is offering a cold, wet handshake. Always hold your beverage in your left hand and keep your right hand free for handshaking, especially during networking events. 3. The terminator shake. This painful handshake can be an instant turn off. Crushing someone's fingers or twisting your wrist so that your hand is on top is a sign of dominance. Your grip should be no harder than what you would use to turn a door handle. 4. The pump handle shake. There's no need to grab someone's hand and repeadedly pump it up and down. Send your hand in for the shake, pump one or two times, hold for a second, then release. 5. The lookaway shake. If you've ever shaken hands with someone who's looking around the room for their next introduction, you've experienced the lookaway shake. Never let your eyes wander, no matter how tempting the distraction. Make the all–in connection between eyes and hands. 4 Ways to Be Certain You Don't Order Faux Pas at a Business ... • 6. Failure In The Outliers, Gladwell's 'The Outliers' Mistake; to make a wrong judgment, an action or decision that is wrong or produces a result that is not correct or not intended. When we were young our parents always told us, "it takes a big person to admit their mistakes". Contrary to this popular statement, what if you never actually made a mistake in the first place and fate was at fault for your failure? In his novel "The Outliers", Gladwell claims that "if you work hard enough and assert yourself, and use your mind and imagination, you can shape the world to your desires" (Gladwell 151). However, I disagree with this statement because success is rare and no matter how hard you work, you may never change the world around you. No matter how hard you work, there will be people that drag you down, circumstances you face, obstacles that stand in your way, and a world that will refuse to change for you. Chapter four delves more deeply into the rather tragic life of Chris Langan. He grew up very poor; his father was an alcoholic and for the most part absent. He was a highly gifted student and ended up receiving a full scholarship to Reed University. He found the adjustment very difficult, due to the fact that the teachers had little to no involvement or interest in their students. The odds were stacked against him despite his hard work and commitment to his education. Through numerous setbacks, he maintained his rigorous academic passion and excelled at calculus. Nonetheless, the teachers and school system refused to notice ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. A Short Story : A Story? Twirling her keys around her pointer finger, a tall, dark–skinned girl had placed her hand on a glass door and slotted her keys into their keyhole and locked it, then tucked them back into her jean pocket. She tucked a strand of curly hair that had fallen out of it's ponytail behind her ear as she turned the sign from open to closed. Turning around, she leaned her back against the shop windows, peered at the rows of flower arrangements along the walls, and sighed. Vivian pulled her apron over her head and hung it back on the tacky, rusted, flower hooks on the wall, then pulled her rolled up sleeves down to her freckled wrists. Just another day, she guessed. "Closing up shop?" Her eyes darted up quickly at the noise, and she saw her father leaning against the greenhouse door that she had just locked. Nodding, she pulled the ponytail holder out of her thick hair, letting it fall back down to her shoulders. "Mhm, we're almost out of potting soil. Can you go pick some up?" With pleading eyes she stared at him, and he grunted as he made his way to the cash register. "Can't tonight, sorry Viv," He looked up and knocked on his knees. "Been kinda hard moving around today." Vivian nodded and pulled a denim jacket off of the hooks, then slipped it on over her striped shirt. "Fine. There's some green tea in the kitchen if you want. Above the dishwasher." Her father nodded, and Vivian saluted with two fingers as she pushed open the door and the bells jingled above her. Shivering, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 8. Booker Epilogue The sensation of a moist tongue swirling around the indentation of his navel woke Booker from a restful sleep and groaning softly, he opened his eyes to the sight of Tom's brown hair bobbing in front of him. At the end of the day, the mouse cursor is put on the desktop window alongside the forefinger tips position showed on the camera screen position. This strategy has an issue. I was nineteen but I still wasn't sure what boat I wanted to catch yet. I liked boys don't get me wrong but sexual activity with them just wasn't exciting and arousing. I was catching up with my bisexual friend Shelly she was beautiful, had the most attractive body and she told me she would help me to venture onto trying something a little different in the sexual department. After a few wines we started giggling together then Shelly moved in for the growl. I could feel her coming close to me, feeling her hands on my face and I couldn't help but to go with it. How Did Leonardo Da Vinci Sketch Of The Vitruvian Man Problem: The famous and old Leonardo Da Vinci sketch called,"The Vitruvian Man", is very well– known and studied because of its ties to many of the renaissance time periods ideas. It is a sketch showing the direct correlation of a human's height and arm span to the length and width of a square that is congruent in area to a circle made of the man's naval cavity to fingertip the measurement. It signified two things, that humans could fit into any form they choose whether it be a savage or a god; or that humans were the in the middle of the universe's chain of command. This symbol has been representing the renaissance era since because of what it has been interpreted to represented. Knowing that there are some human body measurements that are equivalent I've decided to study one set which are the thumb and big toe's length. There also could be a reason for some of our body parts to be equivalent to each other; it could possibly be a physical adaptation for humans to survive in the wild. The rest of the information from my doctor was directed toward my mother because I had begun to cry. Hot, silent tears burned rivets down my face, but I just let them trickle onto the thin paper of the table. My mother gently tugged at my arm, and she led me to our car and explained that we were on our way to an endocrinologist. The endocrinologist would be able to better explicate all of the technicalities associated with my diagnosis. As we drove, my tears dried on my skin, and my face felt hot and itchy. • 28. The Piano Suites Diary Rodion Shchedrin Summary The piano suites Diary composed by Rodion Shchedrin who is one of the most well–known contemporary composers and pianists in Russia, Shchedrin combines elements of Russian folklore styles, baroque–inspired polyphony and pantonality techniques. The combination of compositional techniques has created a new musical language, present in his piano compositions, fusing traditional Western compositional techniques with Russian folk musical styles. I used the score from the German publisher Schott Music. Diary, which is a set of seven compositions. This work was written for pianist Anna Gourari. The first performance was in Moscow on December 5, 2002. I found one commercial CD containing this suite, recorded by Ekaterina Mechetina, in album "Schedrin Shakhidi", available on Spotify for reference. As composer suggested that it is possible to perform each piece separately, and he also mentioned attacca at each end of the movements. In this suite, Shchedrin developed a compositional technique that reintroduced the pitches of a single motive continuously throughout one movement, with rests as space between phrases. This piano suite, as one of the Shchedrin's influential present piano works, features a combination of performance elements and is attractive for both concert artists and young age students. This repertoire ranges in medium difficulty and is filled with elements of dance, folk music, traditional and non traditional harmonies. The use of contrasting textures and imaginative ... • 29. The Bracelet: A Family Heirloom Older than anyone I know and made of a somewhat soft, orange gold. That's the first thing that comes to mind when I think about my little bracelet. It's delicate but awkwardly large, with an unnatural predetermined shape to it. It's an important thing not only because it's old and a family heirloom, but also because it was something entrusted to me by my mom. A dingy, old, broken gold bracelet. That's what anyone else would see if they saw this poor thing. Permanently open, it's basically useless for it's intended purpose– or any purpose other than sitting there looking pretty, really. A couple dents and scratches, with an overall dirty look to it, it's probably the most important thing I've ever been gifted. It was a Tuesday after school when my mom decided I was old enough to inherit the small gold thing; I was still shorter than her, and at the cusp of youth at just 11 years old. It was heavy and large in my open hand– the longest width of it wider than my palm. She told me it was rose gold, and I nodded my head at the term I didn't understand. Was it called that because of the little rose on it? I had wondered. She told me it had been given to her by my great–great– grandma in Montana when she was my age and that it was very special. I had to be careful with it because it's old and someday I have to pass it on to my daughter. I had frowned at her, because really, who wants kids? The finger tapping test has the advantage of being a relatively pure neurologically driven motor task because the inertial and intersegment interactions are so small that biomechanical influences on movement are reduced. Finger tapping involves three important features: time, spatial amplitude, and frequency. Studies have reported that the average number of taps per 10–second interval can be used to distinguish between patients with mild traumatic brain injury and healthy controls, is slower in people one month after sustaining a mild traumatic brain injury,]and in experienced boxers and soccer players who frequently "headed" the ball. The speed of finger tapping has also been found to be related to severity of initial traumatic brain injury, and can be used to help assess recovery from mild and moderate traumatic brain injuries ... • 35. Designing an Exoskeleton Robotic Arm It was believed that the decisive factor for designing a robotic arm is its inexpensiveness and friendly interfacing with the user. Teleoperated master–slave anthropomorphic robotic arm with the single axis revolute joints having six degree of freedom was designed [13]. The master used the human machine interface (HMI) to operate in RTOS. The master incorporated the motion capture devices, such as vision sensors to transform the motion into analog voltages so as to actuate the exoskeleton robotic arm. The human machine interface comprised of GUI (Graphical User Interface) system, an Exoskeleton Robotic Arm and a Mode selector which enabled the operator to choose among the three modes of operation (manual, autonomous and semi–autonomous). We humans are companionable with the amorphous environment which is the principal benefit of advancement of Exoskeleton robots in the field of teleoperation. The 6–DOF exoskeleton enables the robot to elevate and shift items anywhere in space. A 6–DOF exoskeleton is very analogous to homo–sapiens in regards to no. and joints position. The limitation of this model was inadequate precision because of the non–linearity and mechanical coupling of the joints. [13] Nakai implemented a human interface technique using force feedback mechanism attached to the operator's hand and named it Sensor Arm System [5]. The arm served the basis of the Master–Slave manipulator system in Teleoperation. The arm with which he experimented had 7–DOF same as that ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Unfortunately, your idea of fine dining at home is Raman Noodles served in a bowl and not in the foam cup. Raman Noodles, even served in a bowl, will not impress any date. Now picture yourself sharing a warm, freshly crafted pizza. A pizza with fried chicken smothered with provolone cheese. A pizza with a pop of flavor provided by bell peppers. A pizza seamlessly put together with ranch dressing. This simple recipe for chicken ranch pizza will make you resistible to any date. To complete the following recipe, you will need one boneless chicken breast (an ideal size for the chicken breast is the size of your hand), soy sauce, lemon juice, a bell pepper, shredded provolone cheese, salt, Cayenne pepper, flour, olive oil, one large egg, and one frozen cheese pizza (preferably Di Giorno rising crust). First you need to prep the chicken breast. If your chicken breast is frozen, let your chicken breast thaw. To speed up the thawing process, you may use a microwave. However, set the microwave to defrost mode before thawing your chicken, which will prevent the chicken from drying out and will keep the chicken moist. Thaw the chicken, on defrost mode, for approximately five to six minutes. After thawing the chicken, take a sharp knife and make a horizontal cut across the middle of the breast. Always act carefully when working knives. Remember to keep the blade down and always cut away from yourself. Cut the chicken into long strips with roughly one–quarter inch of thickness. Reducing the thickness of the breast will reduce the amount of time needed to cook the chicken fully. Now make a vertical cut every half inch to both strips of chicken. The chicken pieces should resemble the size and shape of your middle and ring finger combined. After cutting the chicken, wash hands thoroughly with warm water and soap. Always wash your hands after touching raw meat to prevent cross commination. Do not touch any other ingredient before washing your hands. Next you need to assemble the marinade for the chicken. It congers up the spirits of all things possible to confront the spirits of absolutes, who think they rule the world. If you think about the times you have said an emphatic "Never," it actually comes to pass when least expected. A common never, that easily slips off the tongue is, "Things can never get worse than they are now." Those words are a direct challenge to the fates, distant relatives of the spirts, and equally challenged by absolutes. Not only can things get worse, they usually do if denial is the attitude of the day. I was having just such a day, on a Saturday in November of 1996. I was sitting at the counter of my book store, "Booked Solid." It was the culmination of my dreams and my place of joy. I had opened up the store, arranged my seasonal bulletin board, and brewed fresh coffee and tea for any customer who wanted a warm drink while browsing through the 15,000 books the store offered.
