One place that stood out to me and really struck me was one of the first scene in the movie. The

On January 12, 2010, an earthquake of 7.3 on the Richter scale devastated the Haiti island,
leaving more than 316,000 dead, 350 injured and more than 1.5 million homeless, according to
data provided by Haitian government. Because of this situation many of the Hattians decided to
migrate outside their country in the pursuit of a better life with the promise of an American
dream. But after 2010, U.S. authorities began to deny them refuge leaving them homeless in the
borders of Mexico. Now, more than 4,000 Hattians are living and working in Tijuana. Since the
arrival of the Hattians, I felt the need to know more about their life and culture. So I decided to
go to one of the many Haitian restaurants that exist today in Tijuana and learn about their culture.

Odysseus knew how dangerous this could ve been, but still decided to risk his and crew member
s lives and sail through it. Another reason would be Odysseus s raging pride that can make
others in danger. While this is not entirely inaccurate, he does have an understanding of the
responsibilities it takes to be a leader. For instance, in order to persuade Zeus to help Odysseus,
Athena defends how he fought only to save his life, to bring his shipmates home (1104).
Leadership is displayed in a way when the author references how Odysseus was a brave and
unselfish epic hero by putting his shipmates before him. This could suggest that he cares deeply
for his shipmates and feels responsible if something were to happen to them on his behalf. Critics
may have wondered if Odysseus is truly an epic hero due to his true intentions and how his pride
can put others danger, but his willingness to overcome these tough obstacles and face these kinds of

After WWI Germany was a shadow of her former self; her economy was limping along like an

unemployed workers in Germany. Germany was in the grips of a depression. The German people
were angry, they hated the Allies for doing this to them. Hatred was growing throughout the minds
