There have been several Islamic militant groups in Somalia with the aim of controlling the
country. Al Shabaab is the current of those groups with a claim to make Somali an Islamic state,
while at the same time getting rid of the inter clan wrangles. However, the group s actions were
more of polarizing the communities along religious lines. The Narcissism of minor difference
applies here as well; Somalia s population is overwhelmingly Muslim. However, Al shabaab has
an extremist view of Islam and intends to make everyone follow the same ideas, those who do

One of the foundations of the Christian faith is the belief that God is actively working in His
creation. God did not create the world and leave it to its own fate. Instead, God is still actively
involved in every part of His creation today. This belief is crucial for the Christian scientists in
today s world. Ones who study cells and molecules can discover how astounding and detailed
God, the Creator, is with this belief in mind. God is working through his seen and unseen
creation. In the tiniest cell, God s workmanship can be displayed. God made each cell to have a
specific purpose towards the human body or the plant. Cells and molecules are the work of an
intelligent designer and are not random chances. Without God, cells could not accomplish their
purpose. God places every geneon DNAand makes the cells come together to form a human. For

Through cells and molecules, God creates each unique person on His earth.
When a Christian scientist knows God is at work in His creation, they can have a new perspective

What was it like to live in an insane asylum in the 1800 s?
The first colonists blamed mental illness on witchcraft and demonic possession. The mentally ill
were often imprisoned or sent to poorhouses. If they didn t go to one of those they were left
untreated at their home. Conditions in the prisons were awful. In 1841, a lady named Dorothea Dix
volunteered to teach a Sunday school class for the female inmates. She was outraged with the
conditions of the prisons that she witnessed. Dix then went on to be a renowned advocate for the
mentally ill. She urged more humane treatment based care than what was given to the mentally ill

were put in the asylum because they questioned the authority of their husbands or they were not

one of those. Also, if women got to old the husband could have her put in a hospital and take a
younger wife. Once a woman was committed, it was as if she died, an obituary was published,
usually. A landlord could have a person committed for not paying rent. A boss could have an
employee committed if they were slow or a bad employee. People could be committed if they
were poor, being an alcoholic, a person with a short fuse, or anyone who deviated from the
normal thing society thought was right. These could go for men or women, but most were filled

Pain Recovery Proposal
On 4/25/18 I met Ms. Bambrick for her follow up an appointment with Psychiatrist Dr.
Hillenberg. Ms. Bambrick wants a provider to work with her in coping with the life changing the
aspect of this injury and recovery and coordinating her pain medications during her recovery.
Her goal is to reduce her pain and her pain medication needs at some point. Unfortunately, Dr.
Hillenberg is going to retire and is focusing more on the management end of his practice. He did,
however, make some recommendations. Ms. Bambrick needs a psychiatrist and a psychologist
who will work with her PCP Dr. Horrigan in managing her pain medications. He is providing her
with a pain recovery workbook, that will have daily tasks for her to follow. He spoke with her about

consistently has helped to improve the range of motion of her cervical spine and upper body

numbness she has to the left side of her body continues, along with the right wrist pain and
weakness. The attendant care and transportation services have made a great impact on her
