Snapchat introduced a new feature that allows users to create "snapcodes" linked to websites and share them widely. This allows influencers and bloggers to promote their websites and content to gain more followers. It also benefits businesses by allowing them to collect user data as people view websites through snapcodes within the Snapchat app. Users can create snapcodes for websites by going to Settings, Snapcodes, and entering a URL to generate a code linked to that site.

Prior to the update, users could only
personalize the image on their own
snapcode which was used to invite others to
