This document proposes using mobile technologies like SMS, RFID, and web-based databases to improve communication and tracking of work processes at shipyards. It aims to give clients, administrators, workers real-time updates on project progress and issues. The new system would allow work items, photos, and status updates to be sent via SMS/MMS and viewed online, replacing outdated reporting methods. This would provide increased transparency and efficiency while reducing disputes over work completed. The proposal outlines setting up an SMS platform and database to connect all parties and automatically generate reports from field updates. The goal is to develop this solution for use across multiple shipyards and other potential clients.

● The shipyard industry suffers chronically from lack of information.
More reports and schematics costs, and creates diffused opinions
reaching workforce and administrators. The IT provided important
communications tools like e-mail, VOIP telephony, etc. Now mobile
communication has proven track records and we will participate by
capture value in the yard market, adding this modern tool. Players and
administrators, in the offices worldwide needs to know exact yard
situation, progress, equipment state and other conditions. Yard industry
needs instant customer feed-back on quantity, timing and prices.
● All involved, needs to know daily factotums, and sometimes be
tracked, alerted and kept informed on new changes.
● To solve these deficiencies we “fusion” existing Internet Technologies
with 3G phone capacities and RFID to create values for everybody
involved.

4. Our Production Tool
• We have develop a Production Tool, which will give you:
- Web based database, capable of register all employees and
thousands of main items in as many sectors of service works
as needed, and where you now can track, include photos,
webcams video and make relation between each item.
- Automated reports with bar graphs shows progress on works,
this done by receiving SMS messages, or MMS with coded
audio text, photos or videos, from foremen and/or workers.
- Show results graphs on internet and intranet in lay-out of
vessel.
- Automated remittance of SMS on training issue, faulty
time-stamp or missing-of-report.
- Obligatory employee time-stamping and safety tracking.

5. Description of OLD work process:
- Client inquire as to space and price of vessel and services
by submit detailed item list
- Estimators prepare offer based on former experience, man
hour available, capacity and many other factors and divided as
per item list.
- Execution produces work-orders-cost related to each item
- Extra work-orders are annexed when appears
- Approximately 12 and up to 20 work foremen will oversee
each of their parts of item list, each often having 2-5 under
group leaders.
- Final settlement between client and shipyard, often develop
doubts on which works performed and extension.

6. New process:
• Clients list (Word, Excel, Adobe) uploaded to our Production
Tool in web server.
• Estimators edit notes attached directly to clients list, to narrow
mistakes on perception of work and submit pricing; material,
man hour, yard service and equipment of each item.
• Project Mgr. Revise items and notes.
• Foremen and group leaders to SMS progress in f.ex. percentage,
hours/time to finish (ex SMS:vessel name item# #% #hrs or
sunday1500) which is made visually available for clients on the
web.
• Foremen SMS new work items,(ex SMS: cleaning generator
brushes item #) immediately available on web to clients, priced
by estimators and revised by Project Mgr.
• Foremen MMS photos or video of before and after situations,
automatically added to item number, and visual for client.
• Foremen not submitting progress reports in due time, will be
reminded by SMS. Warning of delay or job extensions will be
visualized on bar graph in color code.
• Hot work permits will appear on web for check, and conflict
