This document summarizes a conference on shaping agricultural supply chains to help people and landscapes prosper. It discusses how the Rainforest Alliance is working with communities in Mexico and Guatemala to lead sustainable practices by empowering community leaders. It also examines challenges and opportunities of taking a jurisdictional approach to certification across entire regions. Finally, it proposes a Landscape Standard framework to drive environmental, social, and economic sustainability in productive landscapes through principles like biodiversity protection, ecosystem services, and human well-being.
