According to the pathogenesis of salmonella, the model had been designed as an SIR system comprising of a non-constant population. The disease-free state and basic reproduction number (R0) have been computed for this system. In epidemics, there are always two cases: R0<1>1 (epidemic existing state).

Integrated control programs involving mass drug administration, vaccination, sanitation efforts, and public-private partnerships can help eliminate neglected tropical diseases.

In a study of 17,035 malaria cases in Maira Surizai Payan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan from May 2018 to April 2019, 7.83% (1,334) were Plasmodium vivax and 0% were Plasmodium falciparum, with no mixed infections. The highest rates occurred in August-October (11.8% of cases) due to the monsoon season. Rates were lowest in January-February (2.52%) when temperatures are cooler. Plasmodium vivax was the dominant malaria parasite present throughout the study period.Statistical analysis on household factors influencing annual episodes of malaria
Malaria is responsible for about 66 per cent of all clinic visits in Nigeria. It accounts for 25% of under-5 mortality, 30% childhood mortality and 11% maternal mortality. At least 50% of the population will have at least one episode of malaria annually. Moreover, environment dictates the incidence and prevalence of diseases all over the world and if timely action is not taken, it may lead to diseases. Three (3) out of six (6) major towns in Ido local government area are considered and accumulated one hundred and ninety one (191) individuals as respondents using haphazard non probability sampling technique for selection. The obtained data through questionnaire was presented on frequency table and charts while inferential statistics were analysed using dummy variables in regression. It was revealed that majority of the respondents suffered from one or more incidences of malaria in a year, where female had the higher percentage of the incidence and there was high incidence of malaria among the adult ages 30years and above. The qualitative predictor variable in regression analysis revealed significant relationship between annual episode of malaria and number of members of household, toilet type, absent ceiling, building type, disposable site and source of domestic water. The ANOVA, F – test was significant for all predicted factors. Conclusively, in the view of the discovery, it was therefore recommended that people need awareness on densely populated area / household are more prone to experience more episodes of malaria incidence than sparsely populated one, encouragement on utilization of closed domestic water system instead of open system to avoid reservoir for mosquito, enlightenment on type toilet used and avoid absence ceiling to prevent being a breeding site for mosquitoes, government to stage more campaign against malaria especially for adult not for children under 5year alone and create a task force officer/ sanitary inspectors to checkmate sanitation of our environment to avoid unkempt toilet habit which serves as breeding site for mosquitoes.
Estimation of Phytochemical Components from Cassia Tora and To Study Its Larv...
1) The document summarizes a study that estimated the phytochemical components and larvicidal activity of Cassia tora seeds against Anopheles stephensi mosquito larvae.
2) Cassia tora seed extracts with concentrations of 0.1%, 0.2%, 0.3%, and 0.4% were tested against the mosquito larvae. The 0.4% concentration resulted in 80% mortality of the larvae.
3) Phytochemical analysis of the seed extract found the presence of saponins, glycosides, proteins, tannins, and carbohydrates. The study suggests Cassia tora may be an effective and safe potential source for controlling mosquitoes.
Antimalarial metabolization: what have we learnt so far?
Considering malaria is a highly devastating disease of mankind, total eradication of malaria seems to be an uphill task, the only relief from this disease is achieved by usage of antimalarial drugs. Since malaria is associated with humans from time immemorial, usage of traditional substances to most presently effective antimalarial have been recorded to cure this disease. With the advent of modern biological techniques aided the understanding of the biochemical pathways of antimalarial metabolism thereby helping in designing successful usage of many antimalarials. Nevertheless, improper usages of certain drugs have led to the origin and spread of drug resistant malaria parasites (chloroquine resistant Plasmodium falciparum). Also, the genetic basis of antimalarial metabolism in humans is now well understood and frequent mutations in genes of malarial parasites are well associated with drug resistance. The entire scenario of antimalarial usage in the field have become complicated, partly due to poor understanding between antimalarial metabolism in humans and drug fighting mechanism in parasites, by which resistance to even combined therapy (e.g. Artemisinin Combination Therapy) have started emerging. Vital basic understanding from human and parasite population genetics (involving antimalarial both metabolizing genes in human and resistant genes in parasite) could be an ideal starting point to malaria control.

Primary treatment is oral rehydration solution. Typhoid fever is caused by Salmonella enterica and is transmitted by contaminated food or water. It causes fever and abdominal symptoms. Treatment includes antibiotics and oral rehydration. Oral rehydration therapy was developed in the 1970s in Bangladesh as a treatment for cholera and has reduced diarrhea related deaths worldwide.

Malaria remains a significant global health issue, infecting over 200 million people annually. It is caused by Plasmodium parasites and transmitted via the bites of infected Anopheles mosquitoes. P. falciparum is the most deadly malaria parasite. The complex lifecycle involves stages in both human and mosquito hosts. Historical milestones include the discovery of the malaria parasite in 1880 and determination of its mosquito transmission in 1897. World health day theme for 2014- vector borne disease
World Health Day was celebrated on April 7th, 2014 at ESI Hospital in Ramachandra Puram, India. The theme was "Vector Borne Diseases - Small Bite, Big Threat". A CME event was held discussing the prevention of vector borne diseases like malaria and dengue. Vector borne diseases affect over half the world's population and are transmitted by mosquitoes, flies, ticks and other vectors. Common vector borne diseases discussed were malaria, dengue, Japanese encephalitis and yellow fever. Prevention methods included insecticide treated nets, indoor residual spraying, larviciding, and prompt treatment of cases.

- 3. Malaria is one of the major diseases in our country. Malaria is an infectious diseases of the blood caused by parasites which infect the Red Blood Cell and are spread by mosquitoes'. The term malaria comes from ‘mal’ ‘aria’ or ‘bad air’. The malaria caused by a parasite called as ‘plasmodium’.
