This document discusses the requirements for rebuilding efforts after disasters. Coordinating rebuilding in an emergency context is challenging due to the many stakeholders involved. The speaker advocates agreeing in advance on goals, roles, and a plan to bring together all the "pieces of the puzzle." 13. SOCODEVI’s role
• Organised the people in group of owners (housing
cooperatives) working together to find the land,
obtain the title, agree on the urban plan, raise cash to
cover the first investment, agree on the house
design, agree on the payment option and the
guarantee for the loan.
• In short, we work on the sustainable part of the
equation.
