Two mischievous teenagers, Daniel and Nathan, plan to explore an abandoned building that has a reputation for being dangerous. Nathan is reluctant but Daniel wants to prove himself. Inside, they hear strange noises and cries for help. Daniel decides to investigate alone while Nathan finds another exit. However, Daniel is attacked by the Thing that lurks in the building. It tells Nathan there is no escape.

Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

DANIEL is the fearless one of the two friends that will
do anything to impress those in his surroundings, he
wants to out wit the devil that lurks around in a place
were many die.
NATHAN is the more intelligent one in the
friendship, he tries to help Daniel and
stop him from doing stupid things
NATHAN
(Scared)
OH MY GOD, I can not believe that you’re
actually making me do this.
DANIEL is the fearless one of the two friends that will
do anything to impress those in his surroundings, he
wants to out wit the devil that lurks around in a place
were many die.
DANIEL
Relax Daniel, i bet you whatever this thing is doesn’t
even exist.

Just when i was about to leave to find
something to feed on, they come right to

DANIEL

could be in there get down
NATHAN
I hope to GOD that we never got spotted
by whatever is in there.
DANIEL
Whatever that noise was that we herd
early we need to find were it came from.
NATHAN
THIS Seriously freaking me out, maybe we
should go back, anything could be up
there.
DANIEL
You do know that if you go out there now
whatever prick that is up there could
spot us.
THING
What was did me i didn’t deserve, All of
those people with there happy lives will
die.

I best go first whatever is up there, i can distract
while you find another way out.
NATHAN
Go then quick but you bes be care full.
