Daniel breaks up with his girlfriend Lisa over the phone. That evening, his Justice League collectible dolls seem to come to life and attack him in his apartment. He calls his friend Terry for help. When Terry arrives, he finds Daniel tied up, claiming the dolls were responsible. However, the dolls have disappeared. Terry doesn't believe Daniel's story and thinks he's gone crazy. Daniel throws the dolls in the trash, but a stranger retrieves them.

2. INT. APARTMENT - DAY
Daniel walks out of his room, into the living room.
He grabs his keys, and then receives a phone call.
He looks at his phone and then answers it.
DANIEL
What do you want Lisa?
LISA
Why haven’t you been returning my
calls? I’ve been trying to reach
you for two weeks.
DANIEL
It’s not obvious?
LISA
What are you talking about?
DANIEL
I don’t wanna see you anymore.
LISA
What?! Why?
DANIEL
Cause you’re a very boring person
and I think we should see other
people.
LISA
I’m boring?! You play video-games
for twenty-four hours a day and
smells like rotten cheese?
DANIEL
Whoa! I’m trying to be as nice as I
can. We had fun and now it’s time
to move on.
LISA
You know what Daniel, what everyone
says about you is true. Surrounding
yourself with comics and
video-games and dolls, instead of
people who actually care about you
is gonna bite you in the ass. You
little evil nerdy bastard!

DANIEL
I’m not a nerd!
Daniel hangs up the phone.
INT. APARTMENT - KITCHEN - DAY
Daniel walks into the kitchen.
DANIEL
I’m not a nerd.
Daniel sees his superman clock hanging on the wall. Staring.
DANIEL
What are you looking at?
He punches the clock. It falls to the floor and breaks into
pieces.
Daniel walks out of the kitchen, grabs his bag, and leaves
the house.
The superman doll hanging on the cabinet falls, followed by
the other justice dolls.
INT. APARTMENT - EVENING
Daniel walks back into the house, and almost trips on his
skateboard.
He picks up the skateboard.
DANIEL
How the-
Daniel looks up and sees the justice dolls in the corner
looking at him.
DANIEL
What the-
Daniel enters the apartment and looks around, seeing if
someone’s there.
Daniel leaves the skateboard in the room, and walks to the
justice dolls.
He picks them up and puts them back on the cabinets, and
then walks out of the kitchen.

Daniel sits on the couch, then hears a noise from the
kitchen.
He walks to the entrance of the kitchen and looks at the
cabinet. It opens and plastic ware flies out at him.
When they stop, Daniel looks for the justice dolls, but
they’re gone.
Daniel looks behind him and sees the justice dolls leaning
up against the wall behind him.
He runs outside to the porch to make a phone call.
DANIEL
Come on, pick up pick up!
INTERCUT.
INT. APARTMENT - PORCH - EVENING/ INT. APARTMENT - BATHROOM
- EVENING
Terry is peeing.
TERRY
Hello?
DANIEL
Dude! My justice league dolls are
possessed and are trying to kill
me!
TERRY
Are you high?
DANIEL
No, I’m serious!
TERRY
Right... dude I’m peeing. Let me
call you back-
DANIEL
No, I’ll be dead by then.
TERRY
Well make sure you crack the door
to your apartment so the neighbors
can find you.

DANIEL
Look dude, I know I sound insane-
TERRY
Mhmm.
DANIEL
But come over and see it for
yourself.
TERRY
You broke up with Lisa didn’t you?
Dude if you’re lonely-
DANIEL
Terry, just get over here!
Daniel walks back into the apartment and looks for the
justice dolls.
They’re gone.
Daniel looks up and gets knocked out with a ball.
INT. APARTMENT - NIGHT
Daniel wakes up tied to a chair with the vacuum cord.
He looks to his left and sees the justice dolls leaning
against the back of the couch.
Daniel gets scared and starts to scream.
DANIEL
Help!
EXT. APARTMENT - NIGHT
Terry walks up and hears Daniel screaming.
He runs to the door and opens it with his keys.
INT. APARTMENT - NIGHT
Terry finds Daniel tied to the chair.
TERRY
Daniel!

DANIEL
Terry, help me!
Terry starts looking around the room, seeing if anyone’s
there.
DANIEL
Dude! Get back here and untie me!
Terry walks back holding a lava lamp.
DANIEL (CONT’D)
What are you doing with that?
TERRY
I have to protect us just in case
the robbers come back.
DANIEL
There weren’t any robbers! It was-
Daniel looks for the justice dolls, but they’re gone.
DANIEL (CONT’D)
Untie me right now!
Terry unties Daniel.
Daniel snatched the lava lamp from Terry, and starts to look
for the justice dolls.
TERRY
What are you doing?
DANIEL
Shush!
Daniel continues to look, but doesn’t find them.
He walks back to the living room.
TERRY
What the hell is wrong with you? We
need to get out of here, before the
robbers-
DANIEL
There weren’t any robbers!
TERRY
Then who was it- Lisa! Dude, I told
you not to break up with Lisa.
Girls like her kill guys like us.
(CONTINUED)

DANIEL
Terry, you don’t understand. I
wasn’t tied up by some robbers or
stupid Lisa. My life is in danger,
because something evil is in my
apartment. And-
TERRY
And what?
Daniel sees the reflection of the dolls in his TV.
Daniel runs to the closet and grabs a bag.
He grabs the dolls and stuffs them inside the bag.
TERRY
Dude! What in the world are you
doing?
Daniel runs out of the apartment.
TERRY (CONT’D)
Those are collectibles. Daniel!
EXT. APARTMENT - NIGHT
Daniel runs to the trash can and throws the bag down.
He looks around and then runs back to his apartment.
INT. APARTMENT - NIGHT
Daniel runs in and locks the door. He quickly turns and
leans on it.
EXT. APARTMENT - NIGHT
A guy walks up with a bag of trash. He places it down and
then notices the dolls.
He picks them up.
GUY
What the?! What would posses some
idiot to throw you little guys
away?
The guy walks away.

INT. APARTMENT - NIGHT
Terry stands angry with his arms folded.
DANIEL
What?
TERRY
You’re such an evil bastard you
know that?
Daniel rests his head on the door.
DANIEL
Yeah, so I’ve heard.
Daniel slides down the door.
