Trace receives a mysterious text asking where she is while in her bedroom at night. She responds that she cannot come and is sorry. She then scratches her face until it bleeds. In a dream sequence, Trace's facial features disappear and float around her faceless head. She manages to put them back together. Trace wakes up back in her bedroom uninjured.

FADE IN:
INT. BEDROOM. NIGHT
Blinds closed with title.
A young girl, Trace, dark hair and features.
Overview of room and landing.
Trace goes to her bedroom with bruises on her.
Trade receives a text then a thought of hers appears on
her bedroom wall as she looks away from her phone after
reading the text. She looks back at her phone and re-
reads the text aloud.
TRACE
Where are you? We are waiting for
you.
Trace responds to the text.
TRACE
I can’t come, I’m sorry.
Trace sits on her bed whilst her phone gets notifications
which she ignores. Trace looks outside and closes her
blinds.
Trace sits in the darkness whilst with a spotlight upon
her.
Trace gets up from her bed and looks in the mirror as she
starts scratching her face and blood goes down her arms.
INNER TRACE
You cannot get rid of me.
TRACE
I can and will.
She goes back to sitting on her bed with blood dripping
of her arms.
Trace reappears without injuries or blood.
Trace starts crying.
Big close up on Trace’s eye open.
Big close up on Trace’s eye closed crying.
Big close up on Trace grinding her teeth.
Big close up on Trace screaming.

Her face with it’s features in place.
INT. DARK ROOM (DREAM). NIGHT
Trace’s facial features disappear from her face.
First Trace’s eyes disappear.
Then Trace’s mouth disappears hence she is mute.
Then Trace’s nose disappears and her head is faceless.
Trace’s facial features start floating on screen.
Trace captures her features.
Returns them to her face.
Trace’s face starts to shatter.
She holds on to her face ensuring her face stays
together.
Trace 2’s shadow appears.
Trace 2 tries to take over Trace’s body.
Trace tries to abandons Trace 2.
Trace’s face start sweating.
Trace touches it and it starts to melt.
Rewind to her face being normal.
Smoke appears in the background.
Close up on Trace’s face.
INT. BEDROOM. DAY.
Trace appears back to her room uninjured.
Trace sits in window and opens blinds. With title.
