This document provides instructions for uploading a Word, PowerPoint, or PDF document to Scribd.com in order to embed it in a blog post. It involves logging into Scribd, clicking the upload button, browsing to find the file, marking it as private, copying the embed code, pasting that code into an HTML post on the blog, and publishing.

1. How to use Scribd.com
Once you have finished your evaluation in Microsoft Word, you will need to upload
this to your blog. This can also be used for any word documents, powerpoints or pdf
documents.
1. Type in www.scribd.com
2. Click the login at the top right of the webpage. You will be using the same
username and password you have for the blog. Don’t login with your
facebook account.
3. Click the upload button at the top of the page.
4. Due to restrictions with the internet within college, you will need to use the
HTML Uploader. Click the blue link.

5. Click browse and find your document you wish to upload.
6. Type your full name and Evaluation in the Title. Also make sure you tick
Mark as private otherwise anyone will be able to view your document.

2. 7. Click Save changes, which will then take you to the final page.
8. For you to be able to share this on your blog you will need an embed code
similar to what you may have used on youtube to link to a video. Where it
says embed code, right click and copy.

9. Log into your blog as normal and add a new post. Click on HTML on the top
tab next to compose.

10. Paste this code into the empty box, label the post with your name and
publish. You should now see your document embedded with your post.
