As well as data flow, error reporting of schedules and API calls enables you to catch problems before they happen.

Everyone should have a clear vision for the service and buy into a common goal of supporting student learning.

Systematic checking improves reliability and reputation of the service.

Auto-mixers can be used to ensure the right microphone source is selected. Radio lapel mics used in large rooms and rooms with poor acoustics.

Discuss concerns and understand the pedagogical arguments. Ensure students are aware of these arguments as well as staff.

Question What do you think are the strengths of lecture capture for your students learning? Run critical seminars and workshops, providing an opportunity to share perspectives in a non judgemental way and bring together those who are apprehensive with those who have seen positive benefits in student learning.
