Jackson is the 12th largest individual US life insurance company by total statutory assets. It provides
services in annuities and fixed income products to retail/institutional investors. Its head office is based
out of Lansing, Michigan. Jackson is an existing customer of BPO LOB and started engagement in the
Apps LOB since Nov 2014 with VB6 elimination program.
The current project is carrying out for re-architecture on a defined set of Jackson’s legacy Microsoft
platform applications to Enterprise Java.
Client: Markit, Boulder, CO, USA
Markit Ltd. Is a global, financial information and service company with over 3,600 employees, founded
in 2003 as an independent source of credit derivative pricing. The company provides independent data,
trade processing of derivatives, foreign exchange and loans, customized technology platform and
managed services.
The current project scope is – Data Center Migration and Transition, Service Management, IIS
Administration for whole set of applications and DevOps.
Client: Zafin, Lab Technologies, Dubai, UAE.
Zafin is a banking software product company. The company is one of a small number of banking
software vendors that provide relationship-based pricing and Product Lifecycle Management to banks
and financial institutions. Zafin's main product, miRevenue, is used by over 20 banks globally to enable
Product and Pricing Lifecycle Management (PPLM - a derivative of Product Lifecycle
Management), relationship-based pricing and enterprise billing functionalities. The current scope is –
Application Support Maintenance, Environment Management, UI Automation Testing and Performance
Testing.
Client: Bharti Airtel, Gurgaon, India
Bharti Airtel Limited is a leading global telecommunications company with operations in 20 countries
across Asia and Africa. Headquartered in New Delhi, India, the company ranks amongst the top 4
mobile service providers globally in terms of subscribers.
The project was undertaken to automate Infratel’s field operations using mobile devices. User-friendly &
easy to navigate mobile applications created which allowed the data to flow Bharti IT systems via Mobile
Application Server (MAS). The users on the site (Technicians, Cluster In-charge, Zonal Managers,
Quality Engineers, Vendors, etc) would be able to upload and update the data in Bharti “IT Systems”
securely through mobiles devices as well as through web portal of Mobile Application Server. The
device display the important tasks, notifications, emails, KPI’s, reports and dashboards to the users.
Role:

solution, which intends to provide a web based self-paced learning environment for collaborative learning
and efficient and effective just-in-time referencing. Deployable over Internet and Intranet, the project is
developed in ASP (Application Service Provider) mode. This easy-to-use product facilitates the online
delivery of instruction, content creation and authoring, personalized learning plans, online mentoring, peer
interaction, online testing and assessment, extensive program management and reporting.

departments/modules of MCD. The core modules of ERP are Finance, Accounts, HRMS, Inventory and
Procurement Management, Asset Management and Contract Management. Our ERP Solutions Framework
is based on “OFBiz” product framework.

vendors of Philips. This system provides the flexibility of conducting the courses online (E-Learning
Courses), Classroom Lead Training and Virtual Instructor Lead Training (vILT) for all the employees of
Philips worldwide. The current project scope includes the development of new modules and enhancements
in the existing features of LMS.
Role: Project Manager responsible for:

DETAILS: Element K has been committed to helping the world's most prestigious companies improve
their business with learning and development. From online course design to learning program management,
Element K provides single point of accountability for all learning needs.
Element K provides e-Learning, flexible LMS options, content development, and managed learning
services. AdminI18N will provide the language preferences capability to Element K. Earlier only student
site had this capability to display the site in multiple languages.

IBILT TECHNOLOGIES LTD. (FROM JUNE ’06 – SEP ’07)
PROJECT – Web Based Academic Management System (WBAMS) (From June 2006 till August 2007)
Client: Indian Institute Of Technology, Delhi.
DETAILS: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi is one of the premier educational institutes in
India. The application seamlessly integrates all the student center processes of IIT Delhi; thus enabling a
quick and creative analysis of data to facilitate timely and astute decision-making. WBAMS is developed
to make the interaction between Students, Faculty and Administration faster and efficient.
The application created is an Intranet-based solution portfolio designed to cater to the unique needs of IIT
Delhi. The application seamlessly integrates all the key processes of IIT Delhi, such as Academics (PG &
UG), Hostel, Accounts, Training & Placement (T&P), and Security & Masters; thus, enabling a quick and
creative analysis of data to facilitate timely and astute decision-making.
The design of the System was made in Rational. The system is being developed using Struts Framework.
The business logics and workflow were designed using J2EE architecture (Session Beans for Business
Logic and Entity Beans for Data Access Logic). The front-end is developed using JSP and HTML, and
Oracle 10G AS server with Oracle 9i as backend.

PROJECT – Automation of Directorate of Artillery (From JUNE ‘06 till MAY ‘07)
Client: DG of Artillery, Army HQ, Sena Bhawan.
DETAILS: Directorate Of Artillery is the directorate in Army Headquarter. The Project is basically the
automation of the Activities in the whole directorate. The application created is an Intranet-based solution
portfolio designed to cater to the unique needs of Directorate. The application seamlessly integrates all the
key processes of Artillery Directorate, such as Manpower Management, Equipment Mgmt., Fund Mgmt,
Unit Mgmt., etc; thus, enabling a quick and creative analysis of data to facilitate timely and astute decision-
making. The design of the System has been done in Rational and Rational Unified Process (RUP) has
been used for development of software for the Directorate of Artillery automation.

PROJECT – Automation of Directorate of Discipline and Vigilance (From JUNE ‘06 till MAY ‘07)
Client: DG of Artillery, Army HQ, Sena Bhawan.
DETAILS: Directorate of Discipline and Vigilance of Army Headquarter deals with formulation,
dissemination and implementation of policies regarding discipline and vigilance for all ranks of Indian
Army. It handles all the discipline related issues of Officers and JCO/OR of Indian Army. These activities
necessitate interaction with various outside agencies, management of large database and generation of
various timely reports. Petition management and complaint handling is the core functionality of the DV
directorate. The main objective of this application is to act as a electronic policy (AI) store and retrieval
system where the inception of policy, various amendments and reason of making policy etc. can be
captured and tracking the file movement pertaining to this directorate.

PROJECT – System Study for Branova AS, Oslo, Norway (From JUNE ‘06 till APR ‘07)
Client: Branova-AS, Norway.
DETAILS: Malmo Aviation is one of the leading aviation companies of Sweden. Barring Brussels
(Belgium) and Nice (France), they mainly operate in the domestic market of Sweden. They are already
having a system for different types of jobs.
This system is used to access by Malmo Aviation employees, Travel Agents and by Internet.
The project scope includes the enhancement in the system for better services to the client. A small
application for running different batch jobs like importing and exporting of data has been already developed
and deployed at the Oslo Office.

PROJECT – Airline Check-in System (From JUNE ‘06 till MAR ‘07)
Client: Branova-AS, Norway.
DETAILS: Branova in the software company working for Europine Airline. The project is a swing
application for check in and Boarding card printing for the Airline. The application interacts with the server
through XML. All the processing of the passenger is done on the Application. The passenger can print the
Boarding card by entering the PNR number or by swipeing the Aviation card that is provided by the Airline
Company. The application created is a Touch Screen based application for Check In, to be installed in all
the airports of Sweden.
The SSD will communicate with Server using Web Services. The client is completely stateless. The
customers of Malmo Aviation can Check-In through PNR or Frequent Travelers Card. The customer will
enter the PNR thru the touch screen or swipe the card, he will get a Boarding Card Printed from the in built
Thermal Printer, which will also contains the Bar Code. This application was based on IATA CUSS Light
Specification. To read the Track Information from the card, we made a Java Communication bridge using
JNI

PROJECT – Development of web based travel portals
DETAILS: Cendant Corporation is a well-established name in Travel Industry with its presence almost all
over the world offering hotels, apartments, and sightseeing tours to travel agencies as well as prospective
travelers through its web sites as well as regional offices. The organization also provides services of “Back
Office Operations”.
Role: Manager IT responsible for:
• As a Manager I handled the Web Data Department. The teams with a size of 15 people including 2
Team Leads were involved in the Application Development, Product Development and Designing
of Web Pages, enhancement in existing travel bound site, creation of new websites in different
languages for our foreign clients.
• My key responsibilities were Client Interaction, Estimation, Risk Management, Requirement
Analysis, Project Feasibility, Defining Control Quality Procedures, Configuration Management,
Project Management, Team Management, Performance Evaluation, Making Proposals and also
looked after WAS related issues like Security, Performance Tuning, uploading of new EJB’s,
JSP’s, Servlets etc. on the Server and defining new queues/any changes in the definition of existing
queues in MQ Series.
• Skip Level meetings on monthly basis to understand the employee’s expectations and grievances.
• Establishing the Dashboards for the process and monitoring them on quarterly basis.
Accomplishments:
• Designed performance matrices for the Web Data Process within a week of joining the company.
• Introduced e-fax system to increase the productivity level of employees.
• Prepared a Data management glossary to improve the process understanding & knowledge of Web
Data associates.
• Achieved the attrition rate of the Dept. at 5%.
PERSONALITREE ACADEMY LTD. (FROM AUG ’02 – OCT ’03)
PROJECT – PERSONALITREE LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
DETAILS: Personalitree Learning Management System was designed from the ground up for deployment
in educational institutions and corporate environment. It can be deployed reliably in Intranet, Internet and
mixed environments using standard Web technologies and protocols (HTTP over TCP/IP). Like any Web
site, it is accessible from both institution/corporate and home without any special connectivity
requirements. It is designed with flexible configuration options to allow local hosting and scaling from
single college on a small PC server all the way up to hosted service and mega services on multiple servers.
Role: As a Manger I was involved in Liaison with the clients on Issues relating to delivery platform and
implementation strategy; estimating changes according to client’s requirement; coordinating with the team
to implement the offerings at client side; conducting periodical review with the clients to sustain the
offerings; enhancing the product delivery mechanism based on the client’s feedback received time and again
in consultation with the team members.
HCL PEROT SYSTEMS (FROM JUNE ‘00 – AUG ‘02)
PROJECT − Timesclassifieds.com-SAP Integration (FEB ‘02 – AUG ‘02)
Client: Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (Times of India Group)
Details: Times Response, a division of Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. introduced a vertical classifieds
portal – www.timesclassifieds.com. Here an advertiser can book an ad for the net as well as for the print
publications for the Times of India group. HPS has developed the site www.timesclassifieds.com and
integrated it with the print legacy system “RESPNET”. While HPS was developing this application, Times
of India initiated the implementation of SAP (IS-M/AM) for their operations across the country. This will
bring a great degree of automation and standardization across the company in response business. The final
SAP implementation would lead to phasing out of the current legacy system, RESPNET.
The work would incorporate: -
• Data exchange between RSAP and Central Database (CDB) of Timesclassifieds.com.
• Changes in the navigation of existing site required for booking ad as per SAP requirements.
• Provision for on line gauging to be provided for Ads
• Changes in the parametric Search module to include all search parameters provided from SAP
• Changes in the Admin module, Reporting module
• Changes in MQSI flows for data transfer between RSAP and TC.COM
Role: As a Team Member, I was involved in the following activities: -
• Understanding of current system according to SAP implementation
• Design and Development of Search Module with respect to the enhancements.
• Preparation of Design according to the new changes

PROJECT − Designing Contract Procurement And Administration System (CAPS) for JTC (NOV ‘01 –
JAN ‘02)
Client: JTC, Singapore
Details: CAPS application would be catering to JTC’s needs for their Tendering and Contracts
administration processes. It would have wide-ranging functionality beginning from creation and
advertisement of tenders, Opening and award of contract, the application would go on to track the various
stages of the contract viz. the payments (progress payments to final settlement of accounts), insurance,
security deposits etc. The project follows MVC Architecture.
Role: As a member of the development team, was involved in the development of Contract and Admin
module using JSP, EJB, Beans, Servlets and HTML.
PROJECT - TOI Class (JUNE ’00–0CT ‘01)
Client: Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (Times of India Group)
DETAILS: Times Classifieds, a division of Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. Has been successfully carrying
out print editions of classifieds for various categories like, Matrimonial, Recruitment, Vehicles, Property,
Education, Business, Travel, Retail, Obituaries, etc. Essentially the work incorporate –
Creating User profile database for all users who interact with the site (interactions could be booking an
advertisement/responding to an advertisement) on the site. Data exchange between RESPNET database
(Ingres) and Classifieds Internet Edition Database (UDB). Provide payment framework and features for
booking ads on the net for print media. A dynamic Sitemap builder will be provided creating a sitemap
for the Times Classifieds site.
Role: Team Member. As a member of the development team, responsibilities were to understand their
existing Legacy System and then integrate it with our System, so that the customer can book the Ads for
the print media from the net and vice-versa. The Integration will need MQ Series and MQ Series
Integrator. MQSeries messaging products enable business applications to exchange information across
different operating platforms by sending and receiving data as messages and the message is broken through
XML. Role also includes coding various categories and developing shopping cart component using EJB,
BEANS, SERVLETS and JSP. I have also developed Search Module using Stateless Session Bean and
DB2 Extender 7.1 with N-Gram Index Type Search and also involved in Client Side Implementation
(Times Of India) for various categories on AIX platform and Interaction during UAT Stage of the
Project.
MATRIX INTEGRATED SERVICES (FROM SEP ‘98 – MAY ‘00)
PROJECT- e-commerce (B2C) (SEP ‘98 – MAY ‘00)
Client - Picasso Inc., U.S.A.
DETAILS: This is an e-commerce (B2C) project for US based client Picasso Inc. for on-line transaction
of paintings available with them. This popular site can be accessed on Internet by www.gallerize.com.
Where you can visit on different art galleries to see the paintings and if you like any one of them you can
order with all specifications.
Role: Team Member. As a member of the developing team, responsibilities are to develop the search
engine for the site using Java Servlets, JDBC and Java Script.
ACUITY SOFTWARE INDIA LTD (FROM OCT ‘95 – AUG ‘98)
PROJECT - Help-Desk (OCT ‘97 – AUG ‘98)
DETAILS: This is an in-house project for the Company itself, at present successfully running on
company’s local Intranet. This project was basically developed for the system administration department to
make complaint system on-line. Main features of this project are-
• Register a complaint from a user’s terminal.
• Administrator can assign an engineer for that complaint. Also a facility to change an engineer for a
particular complaint.
• Engineer can see complaint assigned to him and if not solved then give an explanation.
• Report for different solved and unsolved problems.
• Master maintenance.
Role: Team Member. As a member of the development team, responsibilities are to develop and design the
Servlets for engineer assigned, engineer escalation, engineer complaint viewer and for different master
entry, update and delete.
PROJECT – Inshop (Nov ’96 – SEP ’97)
Client – Inshop.com Inc, New York, U.S.A.
DETAILS: Inshop has one of the most extensive online databases of stores, catalogs, Websites and gift
ideas. Inshop offer the most up-to-date dish on sale and promotional events in user’s area. To help savvy
shoppers become even savvier by giving users the scoop on retail sales and events on the Web, in catalogs
and stores; showing user where to find hot items fast and offering articles that make user shopping life
easier and more fun. When user register with Inshop, Inshop will send user an Alert via email, when user
selected venue, designer or type of item is included in events and post on its site. Its listings range from the
latest sales on spa treatments, to great deals on electronics, to insider information on users favorite
designer’s trunk show. Inshop alerts include detailed information about the event, relevant dates, location
and other helpful information, so user can evaluate the event for himself.
Role: Team Member. As a member of the team the responsibilities are to design, code and test the Admin
Retailer, Admin Store, User Preferences and Survey Modules.

Jackson is an existing customer of BPO LOB and started engagement in the Apps LOB since Nov 2014 with VB6 elimination program. The current project is carrying out for re-architecture on a defined set of Jackson’s legacy Microsoft platform applications to Enterprise Java. Client: Markit, Boulder, CO, USA Markit Ltd. Is a global, financial information and service company with over 3,600 employees, founded in 2003 as an independent source of credit derivative pricing. The company provides independent data, trade processing of derivatives, foreign exchange and loans, customized technology platform and managed services. The current project scope is – Data Center Migration and Transition, Service Management, IIS Administration for whole set of applications and DevOps.
  • 2. Client: Zafin, Lab Technologies, Dubai, UAE. Zafin is a banking software product company. The company is one of a small number of banking software vendors that provide relationship-based pricing and Product Lifecycle Management to banks and financial institutions. Zafin's main product, miRevenue, is used by over 20 banks globally to enable Product and Pricing Lifecycle Management (PPLM - a derivative of Product Lifecycle Management), relationship-based pricing and enterprise billing functionalities. The current scope is – Application Support Maintenance, Environment Management, UI Automation Testing and Performance Testing. Client: Bharti Airtel, Gurgaon, India Bharti Airtel Limited is a leading global telecommunications company with operations in 20 countries across Asia and Africa. Headquartered in New Delhi, India, the company ranks amongst the top 4 mobile service providers globally in terms of subscribers. The project was undertaken to automate Infratel’s field operations using mobile devices. User-friendly & easy to navigate mobile applications created which allowed the data to flow Bharti IT systems via Mobile Application Server (MAS). The users on the site (Technicians, Cluster In-charge, Zonal Managers, Quality Engineers, Vendors, etc) would be able to upload and update the data in Bharti “IT Systems” securely through mobiles devices as well as through web portal of Mobile Application Server. The device display the important tasks, notifications, emails, KPI’s, reports and dashboards to the users. Role: Senior Delivery Manager responsible for: • People Management and ensuring maximum Resource Utilization • Plan Implementation of and adherence-to organizational Apps Support processes that are aligned to ITIL process framework • Quantitative Analysis of Support data to establish process stability and capability. Deployable over Internet and Intranet, the project is developed in ASP (Application Service Provider) mode. This easy-to-use product facilitates the online delivery of instruction, content creation and authoring, personalized learning plans, online mentoring, peer interaction, online testing and assessment, extensive program management and reporting. This system provides the flexibility of conducting the courses online (E-Learning Courses), Classroom Lead Training and Virtual Instructor Lead Training (vILT) for all the employees of Philips worldwide. The current project scope includes the development of new modules and enhancements in the existing features of LMS.   • 6. PROJECT – Web Based Academic Management System (WBAMS) (From June 2006 till August 2007) Client: Indian Institute Of Technology, Delhi. DETAILS: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi is one of the premier educational institutes in India. The application seamlessly integrates all the student center processes of IIT Delhi; thus enabling a quick and creative analysis of data to facilitate timely and astute decision-making. WBAMS is developed to make the interaction between Students, Faculty and Administration faster and efficient. The application created is an Intranet-based solution portfolio designed to cater to the unique needs of IIT Delhi. The application seamlessly integrates all the key processes of IIT Delhi, such as Academics (PG & UG), Hostel, Accounts, Training & Placement (T&P), and Security & Masters; thus, enabling a quick and creative analysis of data to facilitate timely and astute decision-making. The design of the System was made in Rational. The system is being developed using Struts Framework. The business logics and workflow were designed using J2EE architecture (Session Beans for Business Logic and Entity Beans for Data Access Logic). The front-end is developed using JSP and HTML, and Oracle 10G AS server with Oracle 9i as backend. Role: Project Manager PROJECT – Automation of Directorate of Artillery (From JUNE ‘06 till MAY ‘07) Client: DG of Artillery, Army HQ, Sena Bhawan. DETAILS: Directorate Of Artillery is the directorate in Army Headquarter. The Project is basically the automation of the Activities in the whole directorate. The application created is an Intranet-based solution portfolio designed to cater to the unique needs of Directorate. DETAILS: Directorate of Discipline and Vigilance of Army Headquarter deals with formulation, dissemination and implementation of policies regarding discipline and vigilance for all ranks of Indian Army. It handles all the discipline related issues of Officers and JCO/OR of Indian Army. These activities necessitate interaction with various outside agencies, management of large database and generation of various timely reports. Petition management and complaint handling is the core functionality of the DV directorate. The main objective of this application is to act as a electronic policy (AI) store and retrieval system where the inception of policy, various amendments and reason of making policy etc. can be captured and tracking the file movement pertaining to this directorate. The project is a swing application for check in and Boarding card printing for the Airline. The application interacts with the server through XML. All the processing of the passenger is done on the Application. The passenger can print the Boarding card by entering the PNR number or by swipeing the Aviation card that is provided by the Airline Company. The application created is a Touch Screen based application for Check In, to be installed in all the airports of Sweden. The SSD will communicate with Server using Web Services. The client is completely stateless. The customers of Malmo Aviation can Check-In through PNR or Frequent Travelers Card. The customer will enter the PNR thru the touch screen or swipe the card, he will get a Boarding Card Printed from the in built Thermal Printer, which will also contains the Bar Code.
