2. The Long Days And Nights On The Bus With Mr. Donald Trump
The long days and nights on the bus with Mr. Donald Trump, it grew older and older place after
place; Trump will not even let me drink after a hard day s work because his brother died of
alcohol poisoning. Some days people think he is a joke and do not take him serious because of
his 19 point plan for Presidency. To inform you all, Trump is in it for the long haul and he has
the money and resources to stick to it out till he wins the presidential candidacy. One of the
primary reasons he is running is because he is scared where our government is taking American
people. Everyday I stress the importance of chapters of the novel Hardball written by Chris
Matthews. Some of the chapters are prime learning tools, they help each politician take it to the
next level and become a prime politician. Every morning I make Trump a coffee, two sugars and
one cream, help him adjust his tie, and give him some prime advice for the day as he drinks his
coffee over breakfast. I start out by saying It s not who you know, it s about how you get to know
the people. When I say this to Trump each morning it reminds him about the power one can have on
another through a conversation or a relationship, in other words the Johnson Treatment. Lyndon B.
Johnsonwas known for getting in people s faces and studying them to understand who they are,
what they are up to and why they are here, he loved to analyze people. The Johnson Treatment
often made people feel like they were the only ones that

3. Essay On Certified Nursing Assistant
The trade that I choose is Certified Nursing Assistant. I choose that trade because that s a step to
enter the career that I want. I want to be a Register Nurse at Radys Children Hospital or at Sharp.
I like helping people and especially kids, I think kids are the best and especially when you have
problems or something else and you see them smile at you that feels great. I know that when I
receive my certification as a certified nursing assistantI know that that s going to change my life
because I would be getting their where I wantto be. I am taking my course as a certified nursing
assistant here at Job Corps San Diego. I choose this school because they are many opportunities
that they offer here for you. I went to look for this program at other schools and I see that they
don t offer you as much as they do here so that s why I also choose to star my career here. Also
this school was recommend by a lot of friends that they graduated from here and that they are now
working. In my career that I choose for a certified nursing assistant there are too many skills that
you would have to learn and focus about. Some skills that you have to know are the needto be a fast
learner, multitask person, be able to work with both hands and be going from one side to another
and standing all they. As a certified nursing you are doing basically a lot because you are
supervisor by the register nurse and they would tell you what to do and give you a lot of chores

1. You could tell right away that Alex was intelligent, Wester berg reflects, draining his third
drink. He read a lot. Used a lot of big words. I think maybe part of what got him into trouble was
that he did too much thinking. Sometimes he tried too hard to make sense of the world, to figure
out why people were bad to each other so often. A couple of times I tried to tell him it was a
mistake to get too deep into that kind of stuff, but Alex got stuck on things. He always had to know
the absolute right answer before he could go on to the next thing. (Krakauer ch3, pg 18)
I feel like this passage is important because I feel like this is a defining quality of McCandless. I
also think that many people can relate to this, including myself. This may have been one of
McCandless flaws. I also think this quality is part of what set him on his journey. Obviously one
of the main reasons that McCandless was driven out of his house was his toxic childhood, but i
believe that this also was a reason. I believe that McCandless thought to hard about the world, life,
and society. I think that he kept on thinking, and the more he thought, the idea of society and
conforming to it made less sense to him. As McCandless began to grow this idea began to show,
and people could notice, Westerberg for example. This along with the toxic childhood he grew up in
eventually pushed him out of his house and out into the wild, on his quest for true freedom.

5. Jablonksi Skin Color
In this video Dr. Nina Jablonksi from Penn State University talked about the evolution of human
skin color and why the gradient of skin color in humans exists. To begin this video she started by
talking about melanin, which is the main pigment in human skin. Melanin is produced in the lower
layer of skin and has two different types. The first type is called eumelanin, which is the most
common type. Eumelanin usually gives skin and hair black and brown coloring. The second type
of melanin is pheomelanin which is red and yellow in color. Certain amounts of these melanin are
what determine the different shades of skin tones. Melanin helps absorb the ultravioletradiation

This is shown by the skin pigmentation in the Maasai people of East Africa because the women
are a lighter skin color than the men. Skin pigmentation does not fully develop until adulthood
as well, the Maasai people show this as well. Over time, researchers have hypothesized that
lighter skinned people, such as Europeans or Asians, resulted from a chromosome mutation in
dark skinned people. To prove this hypothesis, researchers analyzed DNA of bones that are
50,000 years old from skeletons of Neanderthals. These bones showed the diminishing
pigmentation and through the DNA analysis it showed the genetic mutation. In the end,
scientists have done enough research to find out that people should not be identified by their
skin color. It is actually seen as a complete fallacy to identify people by the pigmentation of their
skin. Everyone comes from the same place and we are all alike. The only real difference is the
color we see but that is all, the differences truly do only run skin deep. We all have the same
ancestry and all of our skin pigmentation is almost identical. People need to stop judging a book

This is done is by educating young people through a series of workshops. There are three
different workshops available; Defending Against Discrimination (for grassroots teams aged
10+), Kick Off the Conversation (for all ages interested in football) and One Team: Team
Leadership and Inclusion (for University teams). The grassroots workshop is vital in establishing
children s attitude towards discrimination at a young and impressionable age, educating them
about the seriousness of the situation and the potential consequences of adverse attitudes and
behaviour. The workshops available for all ages, are set up to get people involved in the topic by
talking about and debating the problems. The workshop aimed at University teams is particularly
important as it strives to educate, empower and engage the students, creating leaders willing to
accept and appreciate diversity and take a stance against discrimination within the game. A more
recent inclusion into the workshop education is to provide a programme in prisons and young
offenders institutions. All these workshops can be run as interactive or by way of assemblies and

7. Developing A Financial Plan Development Model
Financial Plan Development
Time Out is the title of this student s proposed program for the course project. Time Out will
provide prevention and solution based services to the targeted population, African American high
school student athletes, located in Hampton, Virginia (Baskerville, C., 2015). This paper will
provide readers with a two year financial plan for the proposed program using step VII: Develop
the Financial Management Plan, of Calley s Comprehensive Program Development model as a
guide (2011). Developing a financial plan requires an understanding of the program s projected
expenditures and revenues, which leads to program sustainability through financial management
(2011). The plan will include projected expenditures such as staff salaries, benefits, liability
insurance, office space, supplies, and equipment, and transportations. Then the paper will present
the organization s projected funding sources, monitoring and reporting processes, and ethical
considerations.
Two Year Projected Expenditures
Using information from the program design the student was able to project expenditures to
implement the proposed program (Calley, 2011). The projected expenditures are staffing,
administration, insurance (health and liability), and operating expenses such as office rental,
supplies, and utilities. Of all the projected expenditures, staffing will account for the largest expense
for the program need (2011). To project staffing expenses for the proposed program

Introduction
This comparison matrix comprises three articles which focus on data analysis in social media
marketing.
In An Examination of the Factors Influencing Consumers Attitudes Toward Social Media Marketing
.? Akar and Topcu point out that social media has become a phenomenon in marketing. (Akar and
Topcu, 2011) Marketers are beginning to understand the use of social media as a component in their
marketing and strategies and campaigns to reach out to customers. Promotions marketing

These investments can then be used to measure key marketing outcomes such as changes in
awareness levels or word of mouth increases over time.
Kumar and Michandani want marketers to identify social media users who are both influential and
particularly interested in the company s product or service category. Incentivize those influencers
to talk about the company s product or service. Use metrics to calculate the value of an individual
s influence. The authors developed a seven step approach to ensure a successful social media
campaign. The authors suggest that by developing and implementing this seven step method to first
identify the net influence wielded by a user in a social network and then to predict that user s
ability to generate the viral spread of information, businesses can identify the right individuals to
engage in social media conversations to promote WOM. Further, they found that by linking the
generated WOM to actual sales, social media can be used to induce positive WOM, spread brand
knowledge, generate sales and increase return on investment. (Kumar and Michandandi, 2012)
Conclusion
Social media marketing refers to the process of gaining website traffic or attention through social
media sites.
Social media marketing programs usually center on efforts to create content that attracts attention
and encourages readers to share it with their

10. The Importance Of Dance
I have always loved to dance. When I was in my younger years I used to frequent dances. I was
even involved in my high school s show choir and my high school s musical every year. So, it s a
no brainer that I include dance as part of my exercise when I m fulfilling my twice a week, 30
minutes of activity. Walking your dog or sprinting around your house can get boring so I use
dancing as a way to shake it up and have fun with my exercise. Because I love to danceso much, I
wanted to dive deeper into how beneficial it really is for my body and possibly my mind.
By the time I m done with 30 minutes of dancing I can tell that I ve done some sort of workout; I
m sweating, my heart rate is up, and my energy level is up. It turns out I m not just thinking I m
getting a decent workout, I am actually getting a decent workout. According to John Porcari,
Ph.D., Dance cardio like Zumba and other popular forms we ve studied, it tends to be a pretty
good moderate to vigorous intensity workout, (Abbate). It s good to note though, you should be
including things like lunges and core exercises to get the most out a dance session workout.
Also, you must make sure you are moving at a fast enough pace to get your heart beat up. You
aren t going to get much out of it if you are moving side to side very slowly. Using dance as an
exercise is good for your heart, it makes you stronger, and it can help with balance and
coordination. Participating in a supervised 30 minute dance class can actually

11. Dragon Ball Z s Influence On African American Culture
In the west, Japan is a country known for bustling cities, bullet trains, a rich history of samurai,
and wacky popular culture. Two facets of Japanese popular media that have exploded onto a
global scale are manga and anime. The western world considers manga Japanese comic books and
graphic novels considered collectively as a genre 1. In Japan however, mangarefers to any sort of
comic style work, whether produced in Japan by Japanese people or otherwise. The term anime(an
abbreviation for animation), as defined in the west, indicates a style of animation originating in
Japan that is characterized by stark colorful graphics depicting vibrant characters in action filled
plots often with fantastic or futuristic themes 2. In Japan, anime refers to any sort of cartoon style

The Economic Implication of Walt Disney Co. Disney is a topic that is well known not to only
most children of the world but adults as well. And has been a part of families cherished movies,
possessions, and memories for generations many times to come. As we all know Disney is a
multi billion dollar company. They produce everything from the movies, tv shows, to Disney
Parks, Disney Resorts, Cruises and Etc. with all these outlets are spread all around the world
from Shanghai, Honolulu to Orlando just to name a few. Movies and amusement parks have
been contributing to the economy for almost seventy seven years and are still going on strong.
Disney World and resorts alone account for 2.5% of Florida s gross domestic product about 18.2
billion dollars in annual economic activity as well. Disney, as we all may know is one of Florida
s greatest attractions. For instance according to the Disney Blog What Disney saw in 2008 was
those who drove tended to stay in Orlando a day or two longer on average. But they didn t travel
as frequently throughout the year, rather they saved it up for one long vacation. This means that
the number of visitors to the parks only declines slightly, and it also tends to spread the visits out
over the whole year. That s the pattern we saw in 2008 and 2009 and the pattern we re seeing
now. Disney world at Florida offers jobs and charges price, two thousand six people almost daily

13. Psychological Impact On Public Consciousness
INTRODUCTION
Psychological operations are successfully used to influence the public consciousness, the economy,
and the military operations.
THE PUBLIC CONSCIOUSNESS
Nowadays psychological operations are becoming an effective tool in both foreign and domestic
policy. They are widely used in the sphere of international relations to ensure the voluntary
submission of opponents, to promote the activities of supporters, and to maintain a high level of
motivation among allies. One of the most important elements of these actions is the informational
and psychological impact on public consciousness. During the Gulf WarPSYOPS effectively used
to influence on public consciousness of international community and local populations.
Before entering the war against Iraq in 1990, for multinational forces was necessary to explain the
causes of the war to the international community. Multinational forces had to clarify to the world
all reasons like: the restoration of Kuwait s lost independence (in August 1990, Iraqi troops
occupied Kuwait); Protection of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Oman against
possible aggression by Iraq; Protection of the freedom of global navigation in the Persian Gulf;
Protection of the trampled rights of Kurds and Shiites in Iraq. With using global information
network, it became possible to show the aggressiveness of Iraq and set up world public opinion
against Iraq. At the same time attempts by Iraq to find the support of other countries have

14. The Call, Os Guinness
In his book, The Call Os Guinness presents the biblical definition of calling for the Christian.
Guinness brings clarity to what true Biblical calling is, and how it should affect our lives. Guinness
presents the skewed modern conception of calling, that is not at all biblical, and shatters its ideas.
Throughout The Call , Guinness explains how calling should transform our lives, and influence
everything that we do. Guinness explains that there are twodifferent types of calling that work
together; primary and secondary. First, Guinness explains the concept of a primary calling that
every Christian receives. This primary call declares that Christians are called by Him, to Him and
for Him. (Pg. 31) He then further explains that we are called to Someone (God), not to something
(such as motherhood, politics or teaching) or to somewhere (such as the inner city or Outer
Mongolia). (Pg. 31) Guinness presents his idea on the primary calling as a calling directly into
relationship with God that every believer receives before anything else. It would be foolish to
think that one receives a calling to serve in a specific church as a pastor before they ever become
a believer. Even further, Guinness argues that Neither work, nor career can be fully satisfying
without a deeper sense of calling but calling itself is empty and indistinguishable from work unless
there is Someone who calls. (Pg. 37) Our primary calling it to God as believers and no one else,
and if we are

15. Theme Of Life Lies In Blanche Dubois
Dealing with the harsh truths of life can be tough for anyone to handle, which is why people tell
themselves lies. These lies are called life lies a falsehood used to rationalize the lifestyle people
are living or actions they have committed. Tennessee Williams and Henrik Ibsen investigate how
life lies can turn into delusions a state of mind or way of life when they are used to cope with the
stresses of everyday life. Williams protagonist, Blanche DuBois, was a former southern belle forced
to move in with her sister, Stella, after her husband s suicide and being evicted from Belle Reve,
her family home. To cope with these traumatic events, Blanche decided to recreate her character.
To do so, she lied to the people around about her sinful past because she wanted to appear to
them as the pure, southern belle she once was. As the lies piled up, she came to believe them as
truth, therefore, creating her delusion. Blanche only came to further and more deeply believe her
delusion as the play progressed. On the other hand, Ibsen s protagonist, Nora, had been taken
advantage of her whole life. She was merely a pawn of the two most important men in her life: her
father and husband. Unlike Blanche, Nora s delusion was innate she was taught these lies were the
truth from birth, whereas Blanche consciously created her delusions to protect her from past sins.
Through a series of realizations, Nora came to see the truth of the lieshe was living. Nora was a doll
confined to the walls and ways of Torvald, her husband s, doll house. Tennessee Williams, in A
Streetcar Named Desire, and Henrik Ibsen, in A Doll s House, employ life lies portrayed as
delusions as coping mechanisms; Ibsen explored how a new life and freedom can be gained from
a realization of one s delusion, while Williams explored how unwillingness to accept a delusion can
further trap and confine people.
Williams utilized the symbols of light and darkness to hide Blanche physically just as she used
lies to cover up and cope with her tainted past. Blanche avoided direct exposure to light because
she was afraid of exposing herself and, therefore, her past. She [couldn t] stand a naked lightbulb
in Stella s house because of the fear it would expose her

16. Gentiless In The Pardoner s Tale
The Clerks Tale greatly contrasts the traits of Gentiless and of Nobility. As covered above, the
Clerks Tale follows the abuse and test which Saluzzo enacts upon his wife Griselda. While Saluzzo
is clearly of nobility and exercises the power conferred by that often and regularly, the steely
resolve and good nature of Griselda demonstrates that while she is a commoner, she has much more
Gentiless than her husband Saluzzo.
The Franklin s Tale is a great exploration of trouthe conquering infidelity. When the husband of
Dorigen is off seeking honor and fame, she is courted by Aurelius. Dorigen says that she will love
him if he can remove all the rocks from the coast of Brittany. Aurelius hires a magician for a huge

I nominated the Reeve s Tale fifth as it is a great example of a fabliau. It remains humorous, even
to a modern audience. It also has instructional value, to an extent, as it features the cheating
Miller getting his comeuppance. I nominated the Friar s Tale fourth due to it s more dramatic
nature. Many of the tales focus on mortals, while the Friar s tale features a demon as a main
character. Similar to the Reeve s tale as well, the story features a villain, the summoner, being
punished for his wrongdoing. I nominated the Pardoner s Tale third because it is interesting that
the target of the moral preached by the tale, seems to be the same character telling it. The
Pardoner tells of three young men who happen upon a large store of gold, and kill each other out
of greed. This being while the Pardoner is one of the greediest characters in the Canterbury Tales. I
nominated the Prioress s tale second as I felt it was the most dated tale in Canterbury tales. The
blatant anti Semitism espoused in it makes it a rather interesting read, and it provides a good
amount of instructional value on how to properly treat people in retrospect. In the end, I would
have to pick the Knight s tale for the award as his tale contains some rather heavy themes for its
time. The lesson taught in the Knight s tale about the fickleness of fate

18. Advertising Is An Visible Constant Presence Essay
Even when we re blissfully unaware, we are being persuaded. In today s media driven world,
advertising is an almost constant presence. It is on television, in the films we watch, all over our
social media accounts, and even plastered on the walls of locations that we visit every day.
Advertising is meant to market a product or service to a consumer, utilizing mostly tactics of
persuasionto do so. Because advertisingis so continually present, companies must be more
innovative than ever with their persuasive methods. Depending on the product or service, these
methods vary but some of the popular ones include appealing to the internal attitudes of the
consumer by using strategic and repetitive methods for the delivery of the message to appeal to the
target audience. Virtually all industries do this, though a unique example of persuasion in
advertising is found in the medical and health industries; the United States is one of the few
countries that allows direct to consumer advertising for pharmaceuticals. The healthcare industry
has always had the ability to advertise but with the new medical advertising, its budget for
marketing has exploded as well.
The Food and Drug Administration, also commonly referred to as the FDA, previously banned
direct to consumer advertising for drug companies, but the restriction was lifted in 1997 and a new
age of medical advertising was born. Previously, various medications and health services were
found directly through a visit to a doctor s

19. Self Care Practice With Older People
As a support worker, I have noticed in my care practice with elderly people, that every single
older person is unique and needs an individual approach, therefore day to day life and well being
issues are often a matter of degree; an older person may be able to dress himself or herself except
for reaching to put on shoes and tie shoelaces, or managing difficult fasteners (especially zippers
and snaps that close in the back). If that is the case, self care abilities can be improved simply by
changing the kinds of clothes worn and the way they are fastened. One person may be able to eat
independently except for cutting foods or handling liquids without spilling them. At the other
extreme, another person may not be able to bring a spoon to his or her mouth at all, or may even
have difficulty swallowing food.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

necessary to understand the person. The exception is when daily living problems arise because
of a disease that affects memory, such as Alzheimer s disease or, at times, stroke, Parkinson s

forgetting to perform a task or how to complete it correctly rather than in physically doing the task.

20. Effects Of Parental Neglect On Elementary School Students
Effects of Parental Neglect on Elementary School Students Emre OZDEMIR New York Institute

neglect can have severe consequences to the growth and development of a child. According to
research, parental neglect is one of the major root causes of many vices in the society. Parental
neglect can bring up a society with people who are not physically, emotionally or socially mature.
Although child neglect is a problem facing many children in elementary schools in many
countries across the world, coming up with an effective method of dealing with the problem
poses a huge challenge because some forms of parental neglect have been characterized with
various mental problems. Generally, the most affected kids by any form of parent or caregiver
neglect are those in elementary schools because they are at the age where they require full support
in every area of their lives from their parents. Some forms of parental neglect include: lack of giving
kids the emotional support they need, proper nutrition, quality housing and education among other
forms. This paper examines the effects of parental/child neglect in elementary schools based on
scientific process and scientific method. Other forms of neglect There are different forms of child
neglect that a child can be subjected to. It is important to understand that child neglect is not only

an American continental automobile maker founded by Henry Ford on June 16, 1903. During the
1920s, this firm marketed automobiles that were reliable, low cost, easy to operate and easier to
fix device for the masses (Rise of the Automobile). In addition, the Ford Motor Company led the
world into the expansion and refinement of the assembly line; revolutionizing our society to greater
heights through its mobile products. Meanwhile, the company s contributions benefited society

23. Moral Revelation Theme
Moral revelation and redemption seems to be the focus of Flannery O Connor s theme in A Good
Man is Hard to Find, Revelation, and Everything that Rises Must Converge. O Connor s upbringing
stemmed from southern roots with a strong religious foundation from which she seems to center
her short stories. Although she is a master at integrating different themes throughout her stories, her
dark comedic style of writing allows her to question one s ability to live a good, proper Christian
life, without inducing hatred or bigotry. O Connor often questions her characters ethics, morals, and
how aware they are spiritually. She brings to light the sinful lives many live by interjecting a
condemning or judgmental attitude. She does however, infer... Show more content on

Mrs. Turpin, a professed saved Christian, is quite judgmental, prejudice, and has an inconsistent
view of Christianity. She is critical of those she vies as below her economic status as less than
she. The revelation she receives comes from Mary Grace, a young girl Mrs. Turpin has heavily
judged. The girl s name is a symbol O Connor uses as a symbol of good as opposed to the bad
ethics Mrs. Turpin displays. The physical eye contact and focus Mary Grace had on Mrs. Turpin
was a symbol of Mary Grace helping Mrs. Turpin reach redemption. Again, as in the other two
short stories, O Connor allows the characters an option of seeking redemption. Mrs. Turpin had
the option of facing her judgmental falsities, by looking Mary Grace in the eye, or not choosing to

The Fast Runner film serves as a way to share the story of an Inuit legend, an evil spirit that has
been passed down through generations for centuries. The intent of this film was to show viewers
the balance of good and evil in the Inuit culture and the struggles of the people that follow. The Fast
Runner, Atanarjuat, is fighting with the evil spirit and this filmshows his encounters with the
legendary spirit. The creation of this film can also be used as a way to enlighten people about the
lives and culture of Native Americans in the Arctic. While watching this film I found the storyline
to be very basic. I enjoyed this film because while I was watching I forgot it was a scripted film

In the film, Atanarjuat and Amaqjuaq went hunting for their household alone. When there was
community gatherings multiple men would bring different food for everyone to share. Throughout
the film, Atanarjuat and Amaqjuaq discuss the shortages of caribou in the area while the supply of
seal and fish seemed steady. The textbook mentions food shortages and deaths by starvation but the
film doesn t portray the food that way. Although they talk about not having certain animals to hunt
in the area, they never discuss being excessively hungry or not having any food to eat. In the film,
the people would eat their meat raw and then burn the fat of the animals for heat. The way they ate
their food in the film seems accurate in relation with the textbook and other references. Although
the film seems accurate in regards to the economics of the Inuit people, the film doesn t necessarily
show how they hunted the animals that they ate. The people in the film would ride off in their
dogsleds and return with seals or fish later on in the

25. Aquinas Just War Essay
St. Thomas Aquinas is another great theologian of the Catholic Church who believed in Just War
Theory. St. Aquinas explained three conditions under which war could be justified. First, there
must be a Sovereign authority under which war is waged, and a private individual has no
capacity to wage war. Aquinas argues that, those in authority are responsible for the general good
of the city, kingdom or province under them, and they are allowed by law to use the sword to
defend that good from internal disturbance from evildoers. In the same way, Aquinas argues that it
is the responsibility of the authority to use the sword to defend the common good from external
foes. Therefore, it is Aquina s stand that those not in positions of power cannot declare war. This is
because the defense of the public is the responsibility of the legal authority... Show more content on

This seems to agree with the position of St. Augustine in that; there must be wrongs commited by
the side that is fought. However, Augustine specifies that the group must have commited injustice
to humanity while Aquinas says that the group must have commited some fault which makes it
deserve the war. The condition that the group must deserve to be fought creates a problem of
determining the degree of fault that justifies war. Aquinas leaves the decision to the authorities to
determine what kind of fault makes a group to deserve being fought. However, Aquinas should
have stated what conditions make a group deserve war rather than leaving it to the authorities to
avoid people going to war by ill will. In contrast to Aquinas, Augustine was describing a defensive
war necessitated by injustices, while Aquinas seems to talk of offensive war. An analysis of the two
theorists shows that Augustine is for the idea that war should be avoided at all costs, while Aquinas

ceiling of what we had yet to decide were either bats or flying squirrels, brushing mouse
droppings off the corner of my bedsheets, and watching the aforementioned insects meander their

the police department from which he must have by now retired. He is believed to have settled

The violence would be caused by mutual hatred which prevails between two different groups of
the people. The poet goes about looking for the places where this violence might break out.
Violence would lead to killings; and the poet looks for the possible places where death might raise
its head.
Dead Bodies Kept in the Mortuary:
The poet then speaks about the mortuary where the persons killed in violence would be taken
and kept for post mortem or for identification by the relatives who would naturally like to take
away those dead bodies in order to bury them or cremate them, as the case may be. If kept in a
mortuary even for a few days, a dead body begins to stink because of the decomposition which
takes place. Not even the sweet smelling substances like rose water and flowers can drown that foul
smell. There is, in the mortuary, the dead body of a woman whose husband had cut off her nose on
a suspicion of her having adulterous relations with another man. After having cut off her nose he
had even stabbed her in breast, thus puncturing her lungs.
The Human Capacity for Adjustment:
Man, says the poet, can adjust himself to different conditions. For example, a dead man, if buried
in the earth, remains there firmly. If the same man were to be cremated, he would allow the fire to
consume him quickly. If the dead body were thrown to the birds (like the vultures and the kites), he
would let his flesh be eaten up without

29. Social Security And The Great Depression
Social Security
Alfred Malone
Sociology
Mrs. Joy Branch
14 November 2014
Social security was created in response to the Great Depression. The purpose of it is to protect
aged and disabled persons from illness expenses, to give children a chance to grow up healthy and
secure, keep families together, and to augment the material needs of individuals and families. The
Social Security Act was first passed in 1935 and later amended in 1956 to provide disability
benefits. Some programs included under the Social Security Act are: retirement insurance,
survivor s insurance, disability insurance, and some public assistance and welfare services. The
Social Security program is meant to provide benefits, social security numbers, and generate its
own finances. The first Social Security Numbers(SSN) were first issued in 1936. These cards
each all have their own number used to track the earning histories of U.S. Workers. The cards
also were used to determine Social Security benefit entitlement and benefit levels. The use of the
SSN later expanded in terms of use. As of December2008, the Social Security Administration
(SSA) had issued over 450 million original SSNs, and nearly every legal resident of the United
States had one (Carolyn Puckett). The SSN led to what is mostly used today to identify and
gather information on a person. This method is particularly used when applying for jobs. The

In the film Cruel Intentions, Kathryn Merteuil is portrayed as a manipulative mastermind, who
suffers from the addiction of cocaine. She is prideful of herself on destroying the lives of others
while having the benefit of meeting her own needs. Kathryn comes from a wealthy family. She
portrays herself differently while being in the public eyes; a popular student, a devoted Christian
and a student body president at her prestige s school. She comes off as a lady with moral integrity.
However, Sebastian her stepbrother is the only one who sees past Kathryn s deception and in fact
knows that she s a troublemaker. Throughout the film Kathryn seem have been sufferingfrom a
borderline personality disorder.
I believe criterion 1 is met because she believes that she and her brother are two of a kind but
realistically they are not. For example, at the beginning of the movie, she and her brother are
manipulative and conspire to cruel intentions between seduction and betrayal. They made a bet in
which Sebastian will seduce a virgin name Annette and if Sebastian fails to do so, he will lose his
most valuable possession, his car. And if he succeeds, he would have the pleasure the pleasure to
sleep with Kathryn in whom he has wanted since the day their parents married. Secondly, she can t
seem to have a functional intimate relationship with anyone. As if she only had one purpose for
every person she ran across and that would be sex.

31. The Case For The Vaccine For Brucella Abortus Strain Rb...
Immunology is a very important area of both veterinary and human medicine, the basic principles
of the studies of this science is the same for both areas of the medicine. Such is the case for the
vaccine for Brucella abortus strain RB 51, causing agent of Brucellosis, created by
Dr. Schurig with help from the Colorado Serum Company. But understanding how the immune
system works in multicellular organisms, especially those in the higher kingdoms has brought and
opened an entire world, which has developed a subtopic, a very important art of science.
Vaccines are the result of the understanding of the functional and always active immune system in
higher organisms, such as humans and animals.
The origin of the term vaccine came along in the 18th century by Edward Jenner who described
the Variolae vaccinae a disease commonly known as Cow Pox (Riedel, 2005).
Etymologically, the word vaccine comes from the Latin word vacca that means cow, this explains
how Jenner coined the term vaccine , a word that has stuck in the science area and is very much
used by anyone, still in the 21st century.
This medical progress was first step to develop the real idea of the vaccination, the original concept
of vaccination aims to mimic the development of naturally acquired immunity by inoculation of
nonpathogenic but still immunogenic components of the pathogen in question
(Meeusen et al 2007). Once understood the normal function of the immune system and the actual
mechanisms this system go

Depressive Disorder (Unipolar depression) and Bipolar Depression can be made on the basis of
characteristics of a Major Depressive Episode (MDE). That is, can an MDE in patients with
Major Depressive Disorder be differentiated from a MDE in patients with Bipolar Disorder?
Firstly, the extremes in mood, Major Depressive Episode and mania/hypomania will be defined
and it will be explained how they contribute to a diagnosis of MDD or Bipolar Disorder based on
the diagnostic criteria of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. Secondly, the
importance of differentiating the two disorders based on MDE characteristics will be explained.
Thirdly, the literature on the clinical characteristics of MDE in Bipolar and Unipolar Depression

diagnosing patients with Major Depressive Disorderor Bipolar disorder. The main features of
Major Depressive Episodes (MDE) include a depressed mood for most days and loss of interest
and pleasure in enjoyable activities (also known as ahedonia). For the diagnoses of a MDE to be

Too much risk can result in critical failure of the business and too little risk can reduce
competitiveness. Risk is the effect of uncertainty on objectives which have both positive and
negative effects. According to the ISO/IEC Guide 73, risks are the combination of the probability
of an event and its consequences which have the potential for benefits (upside) if managed
effectively, or the threat of success (downside) as a result of poor assessment and management.
Risks are a central part of any organisation s strategic management; it is suggested that the greater
the risk involved, the higher the return. However, this can only be managed by effective
identification and treatment of all perceivable risks. Risk management is a process that is
supported by a set of principles and structures that are appropriate to the organisation and its
external environment and requires a balance between the level of the risk in relation to the size,
nature and complexity of the organisation.

This research paper is about the events that happened on December 13th. I will take you through
sum very interesting events that happened on this date, which is also my birthday. Personally I
didn t know that there were events like this that happened on this day. It was very interesting what
I learned during this research project. I will be able to take the knowledge that I absorbed by doing
this project with me through high school, college and eventually a career that fits me.
My first topic is an avalanche that many soldiers died in because they were fighting for their
country. This takes place in the time of WWI. This particular avalanche killed an estimate of
9,000 soldiers who were in its path. Witnesses say the avalanches were sometimes used as a
weapon to kill the enemies on the mountain, soldiers that survived say the condition on the
mountain was worse than the actual fighting itself. The French and Russians were against the
Germans and Austrians. Most of the battle camps were set up directly under unstable snow, so
whoever was in there at the time of the avalanche, they would have died. Only a few people were
found out of thousands of soldiers in the battles.
Another interesting event was the capturing of Saddam Hussein. Operation Red Dawn was the plan
that the U.S. would try to find and execute Saddam Hussein for good He was raised into a poor
family as a little child by his mother. His first wife, was his first cousin Sajida. Saddam spent many

Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio, Our nation turns its lonely eyes to you, (Simon
Garfunkel, 1968). This famous song lyric from Simon and Garfunkel s song Mrs. Robinson has
sprung up much controversy in America, since it was released in the year 1968. Many tragedies
and changes had happened in the years between when Joe DiMaggio retired from his baseball career
and when this song was written. People wanted a happier time in the United States, like when Joe
DiMaggio was a major icon among the American people. Joe DiMaggio left behind a legacy in
the history of America, giving hope to not only Americans, but immigrants as well who were
seeking the American dream. He continues to lead MLB players for hitting streaks to this day, he
led men in the United States Army Air Forces, and he also established the Joe DiMaggio
Children s Hospital Foundation.
The lyric that was pulled from the song Mrs. Robinson, may be short but I think it tells a lot
about who Joe DiMaggio was as a person and how people viewed him at him at the time. Joe
DiMaggio was looked at as an idol when he was playing baseball. People thought that he was the
perfect example of the American dream. His parents were Italian immigrants and were very poor,
so seeing him become so famous gave many other immigrants a sense of hope for a better life.

Everyone has once wanted to be a superhero. Whether you grew out of it to play with basketballs
and Barbie dolls or race cars; or if you still hope that one day you ll miraculously be able to fly and
lift things three times your size that dream was still there. As kids, being able to save people and
the world seems unlikely, yet because of figures that we had to look up to, we believed that
nothing was really impossible. Spider Man is one of these said figures. Spider Man was created by
Steve Ditko and Stan Lee for Marvel comics in the sixties, but if you couldn t already tell by the
countless reboots, Peter Parker s Spider Man is still one of Marvel s most popular superheroes
to date. Peter Parker is a fifteen year old, who s just like anyone else. It just so happens that he

inventive, but when it all comes down to it: he s just a normal teenager who s struggling to find

underdog that resonates with people, providing those with the hope that anyone can be a hero and

Managing risk is a complex issue in the world of business today, and covers issues from budgets,
to legal issues as well as security for a company, and these are topics that will be discussed in this
study. Often the success of a company depends on the risk management skills of the team and
leaders. How well riskmanagement in business is handled will decide whether the mission of the
company will be carried out and it is primary to security. This study will look at issues that are
affected by risk management and draw conclusion on how they should be used in order for a
company to reach optimal success. In order to for risk management to be effective information
securityis a major issue that will be vital to a company, even though it cannot guarantee success.
There are several facets to information security. The company will have information that needs to

43. Sheep Vs Market Sheep Essay
Breeding Sheep vs. Market Sheep
Iowa is home to approximately 175,000 sheep ( Iowa Sheep Industry Association n. pag.). Our
large sheep population means that we are ranked tenth in the nation for all sheep and lambs. With
those statistics in mind, it is important to have knowledge about this part of our agricultural
industry in Iowa. Sheep are raised to either breed or sell. Breeding sheep and market sheep are
raised in similar ways, but as with most, they do vary. Breeding and market sheep have four main
independent qualities.
An obvious difference between breeding and market sheep is their anatomy. Male breeding sheep
are called rams. A ram is a male sheep that was not castrated therefore still has his testicles.
Testicles are the organ that classifies rams as breeding sheep, they enable rams to... Show more

Breeding sheep are raised for reproduction. The ram and ewes are usually penned together from
September through early November. In this time frame, the hope is that each ewe will cycle and
get bred by the ram. One ram can breed multiple ewes in the same time frame. When the ewes are
bred, they have a five month gestation period. As a result of the breeding time, lambing season
ranges from February to April. Market sheep are born from breeding sheep. The owner may
have decided that they would not need another ram or ewe for the next year s sheep herd.
Market sheep are raised to be sold when they have reached their prime. Local market sheep are
frequently sold in late August. At this time, the wethers and ewes weigh anywhere from 130 to
170 pounds. Sheep are most commonly purchased by the pound. In recent years, market sheep
have sold for around one dollar and fifty cents per pound. Buyers either choose to continue feeding
the sheep for a while longer, or take it to a place to be turned into meat. Farmers raise sheep with
specific end goals in mind which determine if their are breeding or market

47. The Negative Stereotypes Of African Americans
others (f) Black people have been known to be able to do incredible things from themselves and
others. They are able to turn nothing into something and use it for the greater good of their own
communities. Since the Great Renaissance and the inception of the Black Wall Street, African
Americans were a force to American society. Through the Black Wall Street, with their own money,
Blacks were able to open up jobs and business that would recreate and maintain the socioeconomic
flow within their own communities. Businesses, shops, banks, and health care facilities came out
of the Black Wall Street. Since its destruction in 1921, African Americans and their sense of having
something that they can call their own has not been revitalized. Till this day, Blacks rely on their
white counterparts to fulfill their needs in day to day living. There are a few ways that African
Americans can give to themselves, which will continue to give throughout the year. In return, this
will make them (as a people) stronger, more unified, and powerful than ever before. One important
thing that African Americans can do to change their outlook and perception of life is to stop
feeding into the negative stereotypes placed upon them. Through various forms of entertainment
and art, Blacks have failed short of sustaining their dignity by buying into these stereotypical roles
that are used as forms of entertainment to their fellow man. Depictions of heavy drug users, single

48. Theme Of The Zoo Story
The Zoo Story is said to be the most impressive debut ever made by an American dramatist
(Bigsby 129). The title of the play, The Zoo Story, is a significant title as it shows that it is not a
story about someone who visits the zoo and sees the animals, but it shows how the protagonist,
Jerry, lives with his neighbors. Although they are living in a rooming house, they are isolated
from each other in their rooms, like animals, and unable to form relationship even with the
landlady s dog (Hayman 189), like the animals in the zoo who live in cages. Kenneth Krauss says

In this play, Jerry fails to communicate with everyone, even the landlady s dog. When he met
Peter at the park, he decided to make communication with him through telling him stories. He
begins to tell him about his life, where he lives, his neighbors that he never speaks with, and
how the landlady tries to satisfy her needs, especially the sexual ones through harassing him
whenever he comes back to his room and finally to attract him more. He tells Peter about his
story with the dog. But after all of these stories, he fails to have any communication with Peter.
Robert S. Wallace says that what Jerry fails to realize, is that his use of words has added to his
isolation (152). His words as well had separated him from the audience and separated the
audience from the play. Wallace believes that Jerry manages to communicate with Peter through
body language not through verbal language (154). Mary M. Nilan believes that the reason for
lack of communication in society is because that the concept of love has demolished (128). In The
Zoo Story, Jerry says that if we can so misunderstand, well then, why have we invented the word
love in the first place? (36). Jerry s inability to communicate with the landlady s dog and Peter,

50. Benefits Of Big Data Analytics On Business Performance
The benefits of big data analytics on business performance
Why Big Data Is a Big Deal . Big data is a logo used to describe a massive volume of both
structured (is information already managed by the organization in relational databases ) and
unstructured data (is information that is unorganized and does not fall into a pre determined
model) that is so large it is difficult to process using traditional database and software techniques.
In most companies, the volume of data is too big or it moves too fast or it exceeds current
processing capacity. Despite these problems, big data has the potential to help companies improve
operations and make faster, more intelligent decisions.
Moreover companies that implement Big data analytics application gain tangible benefits in their
finance department, sales department, and human resources department. Financial statements (i.e.
Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and income statement) are the summarized results of the company s
operations. To produce those statements, large volumes of structured and nanostructured data
which come from multiple heterogeneous sources must be swiftly linked, connected, and
correlated. However, those activities can t be done by using traditional databases. For that reason,
the company implemented an advanced technology called big data analytical tool (Business
Object). For example, Financial Statements must be displayed on the CEO dashboards instantly all
the time. To be able to achieve his requirement, Business

After the death of the Mormon leader, a new leader called Brigham Youngwas introduced. Young
was convinced that the Mormons would not live in peace anywhere in the east. He had
guidebooks about the Oregon Trail, which contained the most reserved place in the entire west
which was near the Great Salt Lake. Young was an excellent organiser (he organised the move to
Nauvoo), a down to earth man, and was a determined man. He decided to move west and left
Nauvoo in the spring of 1846. The Mormons prepared for the great journey. As they entered the

comedic techniques used throughout this scene are Chris Lilley s tone of voice while playing Ja

typical white snobby private girl that is displayed throughout this episode and not just this scene.
Just like the last scene satire was again used along with taboo, a lot of the comedy portrayed in
this television show has a lot to do with satire and taboo. Pseudo science is portrayed a lot
throughout this scene with the sayings Ja mie with how she will get pregnant and how she is going

The mystical maidens of the sea, better known as mermaids, have been featured in everything from
the folklore of the past to the fiction of the present, but what do we really know about them?
Legends of these half human, half fish creatures exist all over the globe, and even if they are merely
legend, they re a pretty fascinating manifestation of what the human imagination can produce. Here
are six things you might not know about these mythical creatures.
Number One: The first mermaid was a goddess of fertility.
The original mermaid came out of ancient Assyria in 1000 B.C. According to legend, Atargatis,
or Derecto, as some scholars refer to her, was a goddess of fertility who fell in love with a young
shepherd. While some sources say the young man impregnated her, others say she accidentally
killed him. Maybe both happened, but either way, she ended up throwing herself in a lake out of
shame and transformed into a human with a long fish tail as a result. She is also said to have
inspired the worshipping of Venus and Aphrodite, the Roman and Greek goddesses of love, beauty,
and fertility. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

57. Absolutism In Australia
Based on this classification, Evans argues that apart from its formal headship, all of Australia s
institutions exercising public power are modern republican . His comment suggests that in addition
to following Montesquieu s doctrine of separation of powers, which seeks to divide the power of
the government into three separate institutions, the Australian system also distributes power
through a system of checks and balances. However, unlike the American Constitution of 1787,
which, as table 1 and figure 3 demonstrates, divides the judicial, the legislative, and the executive
into three relatively separate institutions that are confined to the exercise of its own function ,

However, early republican ideas did influence Australia s political culture. As McKenna and
Hudson note, since the colony of New South Wales was established in 1788, convicts were
inspired by the bloody outcome of the French Revolution and with the works of Thomas Paine. As
a result, it was during this period that a radical form of republicanism emerged as working class
convicts quickly asserted their independence from the British caste . In this sense, as loyalty to the
Crown and traditionalism became the framework for political activity, the shooting of the
republican pig highlighted that republicanism and anything outside of this traditional framework
was considered to be the antithesis of the common law. The idea of republicanism as the monarchy
s political other exacerbated in the 1830s. This is demonstrated by Governor Darling s letter in
1827, which states, the colony can no longer be preserved...the free press and bias legislative
councils may result in an Australian republic . His letter highlight s that the struggle between the
colonialists and the republicans was beginning to shape the political culture of New South Wales. It
should be noted that the divisiveness over the republic also led to different strands of
republicanism. For instance, in addition to separatist yeomanry radical and conservative aristocratic
republicanism, theological republicanism was promoted under clergyman John Lang. In contrast to
the aspirations of the Irish radicals, Lang insisted that loyalty to Britain and equality under God
would be the first priority for an Australian republic. However, as Lang s attempts to appeal to the
interests of the anti Transportation League failed, Deniehy s utopian republicanism, which was
based on nationalism and democracy, gained mass support during the Eureka rebellion in 1854.
Within two years, the emergence of colonial self government

58. Creating Resistance To Change
Resistance to Change
Change is difficult to implement in most professional settings. Employees and managers alike are
often set in their ways, and usually resist change via a response based on self interest. Many feel
that change threatens their personal freedom; that change limits them in how they can accomplish
their work goals. This negative reaction is centered around the idea of reactance. Fear is a common
cause of reactance that often leads employees and managers to resist change. People are often afraid
of the unknown. Change can lead to a feeling of uneasiness, or distrust due to a lack of experience
with the change. What an employee was once comfortable with doing is now an unknown to them.
They may not be sure if this new implementation ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Employees should be made aware of impending transitions before they are implemented. When
communicating these transitions, the business should never withhold any details about the change,
and their reasoning for making the change should be clearly stated. This prevents harmful rumors
that propagate employee fear from spreading. Being honest with employees can greatly improve the
degree of trust between them and their managers. Trust can help alleviate fears of change because
employees will feel that their managers would not implement something that was not important or
that would greatly decrease their job satisfaction. Allowing employees to participate in ongoing
changes, grants them a feeling of ownership in the change. They will feel more committed to the
transitions because they helped create them. Simply listening to concerns can also do wonders for
change resistance. Like stated before, employees who feel that they are being listened to will not
meet change with as much resistance. Allowing them to discuss their problems can uncover their
fears, allowing management to possibly alleviate these problems. These concerns may have not
even been considered by upper management, allowing the process to possibly be improved upon.
Regardless of the specifics of the concerns, emotional support should be provided to those dealing
with anxiety from the new
