901D, and revised designs where required. Designed a new slide system for handling the very high loads levels
during testing. Completed the documentation packages, including Navy Level 3 drawings.
Nordson Asymtek (contract), Sept. 2010 – March, 2011 – Managed a program to obtain a Certification of
Compliance with SEMI S2 and S6 for a Jet Valve test module that is manufactured by Asymtek and had been
in production for several years. The work involved implementation of a set of electrical and mechanical
modifications and component changes; re-design of the non-compliant component mounts and the mounting
system for the Jet Valve; insuring that all issues identified in the FMEA had been properly addressed;
documenting the changes; overseeing the re-write of operator’s manuals; and coordinating all activities with
the external auditing company in San Diego leading to obtaining the Certification of Compliance. All work
was completed per the original schedule.
Northrop Grumman I.S. (contract) Jan. 2010 to Aug. 2010: Worked on 3 programs: Part of a team
working on design validation of cables for the BACN Global Hawk program, 2 mo.; Lead M.E. on “Trident
Warrior” program - designed mounting solutions for avionics gear, laptop computers, and secure network

2003 (pro-bono work): Designed a high-performance, advanced composite six meter wind turbine rotor
blade for an existing 50kW wind turbine using bladder molded carbon and glass prepreg. Presented Final
Report to the staff at the National Wind Test Center near Golden, CO in April, 2004. Project was the
subject of numerous articles in composites industry magazines. Process is now being used by Southwest
Windpower, Inc. for blade production.
