Lead Electrical Engineer [Train Maintenance Building Upgrades]
Served as Lead Electrical Engineer for creation of design/build
documents at Greenbelt Yard Facility. The 177,500-square-foot (16,490-
square-meter) Greenbelt Yard buildings were modified to accommodate
heavy maintenance. A new 72,000-square-foot (6,690-square-meter)
building was added at Greenbelt to house maintenance functions, offices
and labs moved from Brentwood. This was part of a $10.7 billion
program involving traction power upgrades, train control upgrades, and
additions and alterations at three yards to expand maintenance and shop
capacity for the larger fleet size.
