 granted to an official or employee who has completed at least ten
(10) years of continuous and satisfactory service in the
government.
 LCA rate:
first 10 years of service - P10, 000.00
every 5 years thereafter - P5,000.00

World Teachers’ Day Incentive Benefit(DepEd ORDER
No. 029 s. 2020)
Granted to all public school teachers, with permanent and
provisional appointment, in all public elementary, junior
and senior high schools, and community learning centers,
who are in service in DepEd on or before October 05 of
the current school year (SY). It shall be released to all
elegible teachers in FY 2020 and the years thereafter,
subject to the availability of funding appropriations as may
be authorized by the annual GAA.

Cash Allowance (DBM and DedEd Joint Circular no. 2,
s. 2021)

Appropriated Cash Allowance to Teachers this year shall cover the
following:
 purchases of teaching supplies and materials, tangible or intangible,
for the implementation or conduct of various modes of learning
delivery.
 internet and other communication expenses;
 annual medical and physical examination expenses
Uniform/ Clothing Allowance(BC 2018-1 dated March 8, 2018)
 shall be granted to those who are already in government service and
are to render services for at least six (6) months in a particular fiscal
year, including leave of absence with pay.
 newly –hired employee may qualify to the grant only after rendering
six (6) months of service, and if expected to render services for at least
six (6) months for the rest of the year.

Revised Guidelines on the Grant of the Special Hardship Allowance
(Joint Circular No. 1, s. 2021 (DBM-DepEd) dated May 18, 2021)
The following DepEd personnel are qualified to receive the Special Hardship Allowance:
 All teachers In elementary and secondary schools located In hardship posts as determined
through the Hardship Index;
 Multi-grade teachers In pure multi-grade schools;
 Mobile teachers, and Non-Formal Education or Alternative Learning System (ALS) coordinators
concurrently handling ALS classes;
 School heads assigned in hardship posts or pure multi-grade schools

Performance Based Bonus (PBB)
(DepEd Order No. 038, s. 2018)
 An official or employee who has rendered a minimum of nine
(9) months of service in the current rating period, and with
atleast “Satisfactory” performance rating may be eligible to
the full grant of the PBB
 An official or employee who rendered less than (9) months
but a minimum of three (3) months of service in the current
rating period, and with atleast “Satisfactory” performance
rating may be eligible for the grant of PBB on a pro-rata
basiscorresponding the actual length of service rendered.

Mid-Year Bonus (BC 2017-2 dated May 8, 2017)
 Personnel has rendered at least a total or an aggregate of four (4)
months of service from July 1 of the immediately preceding year to
May 15 of the current year;
 Personnel remains to be in service as of May 15 of the current year
 Personnel has at least obtained a satisfactory rating in the immediately
preceding rating period.

 Personnel has rendered at least a total or an aggregate of four (4)
months of service from January 1 to October 31 of the current year
 Personnel remains to be in the government service as of October 31
of the same year
 Those who have rendered a total or an aggregate of less than four (4)
months of service from January 1 to October 31 of the current year
and are still in government service as of October 1 of the same year
shall be entitled solely to a pro-rated Cash Gift.

  • 4. Cash Allowance (DBM and DedEd Joint Circular no. 2, s. 2021) Who are entitled? permanent and provisional public school teachers, including ALS and district ALS Coordinators, who are in service in DepEd for the current school year, and assigned with atleast one teaching load 4

Loyalty Pay (Civil Service Commission Memorandum Circular No. 6, s. 2002)  granted to an official or employee who has completed at least ten (10) years of continuous and satisfactory service in the government.  LCA rate: first 10 years of service - P10, 000.00 every 5 years thereafter - P5,000.00 6
  • 7. World Teachers’ Day Incentive Benefit(DepEd ORDER No. 029 s. 2020) Granted to all public school teachers, with permanent and provisional appointment, in all public elementary, junior and senior high schools, and community learning centers, who are in service in DepEd on or before October 05 of the current school year (SY). It shall be released to all elegible teachers in FY 2020 and the years thereafter, subject to the availability of funding appropriations as may be authorized by the annual GAA. 7
  • 8. Cash Allowance (DBM and DedEd Joint Circular no. 2, s. 2021) 8 Appropriated Cash Allowance to Teachers this year shall cover the following:  purchases of teaching supplies and materials, tangible or intangible, for the implementation or conduct of various modes of learning delivery.  internet and other communication expenses;  annual medical and physical examination expenses
  • 9. Uniform/ Clothing Allowance(BC 2018-1 dated March 8, 2018)  shall be granted to those who are already in government service and are to render services for at least six (6) months in a particular fiscal year, including leave of absence with pay.  newly –hired employee may qualify to the grant only after rendering six (6) months of service, and if expected to render services for at least six (6) months for the rest of the year. 9
  • 10. Revised Guidelines on the Grant of the Special Hardship Allowance (Joint Circular No. 1, s. 2021 (DBM-DepEd) dated May 18, 2021) The following DepEd personnel are qualified to receive the Special Hardship Allowance:  All teachers In elementary and secondary schools located In hardship posts as determined through the Hardship Index;  Multi-grade teachers In pure multi-grade schools;  Mobile teachers, and Non-Formal Education or Alternative Learning System (ALS) coordinators concurrently handling ALS classes;  School heads assigned in hardship posts or pure multi-grade schools 10
  • 11. Performance Based Bonus (PBB) (DepEd Order No. 038, s. 2018)  An official or employee who has rendered a minimum of nine (9) months of service in the current rating period, and with atleast “Satisfactory” performance rating may be eligible to the full grant of the PBB  An official or employee who rendered less than (9) months but a minimum of three (3) months of service in the current rating period, and with atleast “Satisfactory” performance rating may be eligible for the grant of PBB on a pro-rata basiscorresponding the actual length of service rendered. 11
  • 12. Mid-Year Bonus (BC 2017-2 dated May 8, 2017)  Personnel has rendered at least a total or an aggregate of four (4) months of service from July 1 of the immediately preceding year to May 15 of the current year;  Personnel remains to be in service as of May 15 of the current year  Personnel has at least obtained a satisfactory rating in the immediately preceding rating period. 12
  • 13.  Personnel has rendered at least a total or an aggregate of four (4) months of service from January 1 to October 31 of the current year  Personnel remains to be in the government service as of October 31 of the same year  Those who have rendered a total or an aggregate of less than four (4) months of service from January 1 to October 31 of the current year and are still in government service as of October 1 of the same year shall be entitled solely to a pro-rated Cash Gift. 13 Year-End Bonus (BC 2016-4 dated April 28, 2016)

Service Recognition Incentive (BC No. 2020 – 6 Dated December 22, 2020)  The civilian personnel are occupying regular, contractual or casual positions.  The personnel are still in the service as of November 30 of the FY.  The personnel have rendered at least a total or an aggregate of four (4) months of satisfactory service as of November 30 of FY, inclusive of services rendered under any of the alternative work arrangements prescribed by the Civil Service Commission.  The employees who have rendered less than a total or an aggregate of four (4) months of service as of November 30 shall be entitled to a pro-rated share of the SRI 17 NOTE: FY 2020 GUIDELINES
