Coalition of Sailors Against Destructive Decisions (CSADD) Chapters of the Year
NAVADMIN 237/11 announced the requirements for submission of the Sea and Shore CSADD Chapters of
the Year. The following is the link to the message for easy access:

The CSADD award was established to recognize the positive social interaction, leadership and decision
making demonstration through the CSADD effort, which employs a variety of communication tools and social
networking created and sustained by the chapters. The overall objective is to foster a culture that sends a clear
message discouraging destructive decision making and reinforcing the Shipmate intervention concept. All
commands are highly encouraged to nominate this group of leaders within their commands and throughout our
navy.
Local command chapters must be registered with the region chapter and packages must be submitted to the
region CSADD chapter no later than 1 October.
Regional chapters via the regional commander will submit their sea and shore region finalist chapter of the
year packages to the MPTE Fleet Master office as outlined in paragraph 4 of the NAVADMIN. To ensure a
timely receipt of the packages, regions are also encouraged to scan and e-mail the packages to YN1 Griffiths at
justin.griffiths@navy.mil Packages will only be accepted from the region chapters.
Our Sailors continue to show us their many capabilities and talents beyond their designated rating. Now is
the time to ensure we recognize their outstanding efforts! Send in your pacakage today to show them how
much their efforts in contributing to success is appreciated.
