CMS/ID APPLICATION PHASE UPDATE
The June CMS/ID window has closed and the detailers are making their selections. The results from June
CMS/ID will be available Friday, 5 July 2013, at 1630 CST. July CMS/ID application phase will open on
Thursday, 11 July 2013, at 1800 CST. After the application window closes, Commands have through Friday,
26 July, to enter comments on CMS/ID. I strongly encourage your Commands to take advantage of this tool.
Entering comments provides information detailers can use to select the best sailor for your billet. Comments
can be entered as soon as the Application Phase begins, and entering comments early can give potential
applicants a better idea of available billets.

FY-14 ACTIVE DUTY SENIOR CHIEF RESULTS POSTED
NPC CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER E-MAIL ADDRESSES HAVE CHANGED
Effective Immediately, NPC Customer Service Center E-Mail drop boxes have changed. Sailors can now send
general inquiry questions and routine correspondence via encrypted email to CSCEMAIL@navy.mil. If you
are submitting a selection board package, utilize CSCSELBOARD@navy.mil. All other email addresses to the
Customer Service Center have been disabled. Utilize the two addresses above for correspondence to NPC
Customer Service Center.
CHIEF QUOTAS RELEASED: FIND OUT YOUR CHANCES FOR ADVANCEMENT
Quotas from the FY 14 Active Duty E7 Board display the effects of Navy’s force management initiatives,
resulting in an opportunity increase from 23.96% for FY 13 to 26.68% (+2.72 percentage points) this cycle.
With approximately 4,600 advancement quotas for this board, the Navy is ensuring the Fleet has the right
mix of Sailors with appropriate skills and experience to meet the Navy’s mission. The selection board
convened June 17 in Millington, TN, and will review the records of approximately 17,400 selection board
eligible E6 Sailors. Top opportunity this cycle is found in the Gas Turbine Systems Technician, Electrical
(GSE) with 100% opportunity (51 quotas); Machinist’s Mate, Surface Warfare, 153 quotas for 87.93%
opportunity, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), 69 quotas for 78.41% opportunity. View the complete
