Ramadan is the ninth month
of the Islamic calendar, which
is lunar-based. Observance of
Ramadan is one of the Five Pillars
of Islam. By fasting during Ramadan,
Muslims believe they earn spiritual
rewards and draw closer to Allah, the
almighty God. Either astronomical
calculations or moon sightings mark
the beginning of this holy month,
which ends at the next new moon
and give way to the celebration
called Eid.
During the month of Ramadan,
Muslims seek the mercy and
attention of Allah by fasting from
dawn to sunset. They abstain from
food and other natural desires during
the daylight hours. Charity is very
important during Ramadan. It has
been believed that, all good deeds
are more handsomely rewarded
during Ramadan than in any other
month of the year, consequently
believers tend to give the poor
and needy more.
4. ‘Click Ihsan Ramadan’, which means ‘click mercy in Ramadan’, urges a prospective to
perform their share of giving in Ramadan by way of initiating likes on a special social
media page by SAIC MG. Each single click will be considered as a point and upon a
certain count of points; a part of aid would be distributed. The likes are counted on slab
basis and charity provided accordingly. Basically, the volume of charity is directly
related to the number of clicks the posts in the page generates.
From 1st of the holy month, every day there will be a post initiating the TG to like it and
help donate a certain type of service to the needy. An individual has to initially like the
page to get access to the posts and he or she has to like the everyday post individually.
At the end of each day, the number of likes being counted and charities provided.
