Volunteerism is the practice of providing time and skills for the benefit
of other people without expecting any personal financial benefit.

A volunteer is someone who involves in volunteerism; He or She accepts to
provide his time and talent to serve other people not expecting any
financial returns.

5. Qualities of a good volunteer
A good volunteer should:
• Be an Enthusiasm
• Be energetic and having a positive attitude can help to motivate yourself
and others
• Be Flexible
• Be able to follow through his commitment
• Creative and passionate
• Work hard and be honest with everybody (Integrity)
• Teamwork
• Have excellent Communication skills
• Have excellent Organization skills

For a NGO to develop, it depends on how strong its power of
volunteerism is.
Power of volunteerism can be categorized in two main
aspects which are: Human resources and exercising
commitment and passion

Passion: an extreme interest in or wish for doing something, such
as a hobby, activity, etc.
Everyone should work out through his commitment and passion
as The first step to failure is to fail to work through your
commitment and passion.
