2. In our opening, we were originally going to have a low angle shot of the band walking in, but due to our quick location change, we decided to use the building to full advantage and experiment with different ways to get in.1. Out of the sixteen people (in our target audience) who viewed our rough edits, a high percentage of them like the transition. We hoped people would like this as when it hits the beat it really captures the audience attention. Rough edit analysis4. Many people left comments saying that it was not in time; we now have edited it, so the music works smoothly with the quick editing. In addition, after getting this feedback, we realized that the edits were jumpy and out of time with the music in some places.3. More people did not like the shot of the symbol being hit. This may because it looked to staged, however we decided to keep the shot in the video as was a contrast with the fast pace music, being in slow motion. It also shows the passion in the drummer as he hits it hard, it shows he is enjoying what he is doing.6. The majority of the people we asked thought it did, however some wrote down that there was a shot in particular that didn’t fit in with the rest of the video. The shot of the drummer was to static and did not flow well so we have changed it, adding in a high angle handheld shot in its replacement. This makes it flow better.5. This is a good result as being a new band we wanted to show them as lively and energetic, however we felt having to many static shots would not covey that as well as handheld shots, so we wanted to have a good balance.
8. As quite a few people did not think the different shots of the band work together, we worked on moving some of the shots for example we put some of the shots on the chorus to show them as unit as such not just individuals and also we used the beats of the music for when the band are jumping.7. We were concerned with this as the corn location was a location we found by chance. The weather fortunately was in our favor and it work out well as it goes as a contrast with the barn location. It also gives the band a fresh new feeling being outside.
9. We wanted to do something different in the part of the video as it shows the band as teenagers having fun. Some of our audience suggested we needed more shots of the band without their instruments and messing around in the cornfields, we have incorporated some more shots in. 10. This is a extremely good result for the ending as obviously it is the last thing the audience remembers and as they like it, it could help the band get more sales and views in the future helping them build upon their fan base
