The proposed music video will follow a narrative concept and performance elements, drawing inspiration from gritty indie rock artists like Jamie T and Arctic Monkeys. The creator analyzed the song's tempo, vocals, and structure to coincide footage and develop a realistic look and feel. Careful planning considered how to film at appropriate locations to match the genre's authentic style.

1. Early Ideas:
The basis of my music video will involve a narrative and performance based concept.
Throughout my video I hope to follow the generic conventions associated with
Alternative/Indie rock music and I am especially looking to create the 'gritty' feel created in
many music videos of this genre, by artists such as Jamie T or the Arctic Monkeys.
By listening to the song repetitively I have tried to coincide my ideas with the songs aspects
such as tempo changes, and introduction of vocals and performance pieces. I feel that this
has helped massively, in order to keep a flow between the concept and song and create a
realistic look and feel within the music video.

2. I then carried on the same process with the latter half of the song…
Again my rough idea of what and when to include my footage has been noted down. I feel
my idea will create a realistic and genuine Alternative rock music video. When planning my
ideas I have strongly considered the locations I will use as I feel it is an essential part of my
video, and having a poor location will ruin any attempt of a realistic look.
